우리나라 금융소비자 보호체제에 대해 전문가들을 대상으로 설문조사를 한 결과 전반적으로 미흡하다는 의견이었다. 체제의 틀, 제반 제도 및 장치, 업무 담당 인적 자원 모두 보통 이하의 평가를 받아서, 개선의 여지가 많음을 보여주고 있다. 금융소비자 보호수준을 높이기 위해서는 체제의 외형도 중요하지만, 실효성 확보를 위한 유인(誘因) 강화가 긴요하다. 한 가지 방법은, 소비자보호기능을 독립시켜서 민간기구화 함으로써 건전성감독기능 혹은 사업자로부터의 영향을 원천 차단하는 동시에 금융소비자의 이해를 대변할 수 있도록 만드는 것이다. 또 한 가지 방법은, 기존 체제 하에서 업무 담당 인적 자원의 성과평가를 금융소비자 보호 중심으로 하는 것이다. 업무체계를 소비자보호업무 활동목표 중심으로 재구성한 후 활동별, 단계별로 정량적 성과평가지표를 만들고 그에 의해 승진, 보수 등이 의미 있는 영향을 받을 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 이는 결과적으로 금융소비자 보호의 실효성을 높일 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 사전적으로 인적 자원의 전문성 및 성과동기를 강화하는 방법이 될 수 있을 것이다. The survey of related professionals shows that Korea`s system for the protection of financial consumers seems to have much room for improvement overall. Its framework, instruments, and the expertise and incentive mechanism of those in charge are all evaluated to be below average. One way to remedy this situation is to separate the function of conduct-of-business regulation from that of safety and soundness supervision, which will make it possible for the system to be more focused. Another way should be to tie the performance evaluation, and thus pay and promotion, etc. of those in charge directly to how well they do in their work. That is, we should have an incentive system for those in charge of financial consumer protection in which the better they do in protecting financial consumers, the more they get paid and the more easily they get promoted, and so on. Needed, in that case, is a quantitative performance evaluation system, consistent with a new vision and action plans designed for an effective financial consumer protection. Then, their effort to enhance their expertise will follow naturally.

Transfusion related acute lung injury (TRALI) is a serious, potentially life-threatening complication of transfusion therapy that is sometimes under diagnosed and under reported. Patients with TRALI present with dyspnea/respiratory distress and fever. The symptoms, signs and chest radiological findings in TRALI are similar to transfusion associated circulatory overload, which makes it is difficult to distinguish it from circulatory overload. Although the mortality rate in cases of TRALI is relatively low, TRALI is the third most common cause of fatal transfusion reactions next to ABO blood type incompatibility and hepatitis. Mild-to-moderate cases of TRALI may be misdiagnosed as volume overload. Recently, we encountered two cases where the patients suffered from dyspnea and fever after a transfusion. and review of the relevant literature. (Tuberc Respir Dis 2006; 61: 473-478)
플랫폼 서비스 혁신에 있어 인공지능(AI)의 역할과 효과에 관한 연구: 카카오 그룹의 인공지능 활용 사례 연구

The development of platform service based on the information and communication technology has revolutionized patterns of commercial transactions, driving the growth of global economy. Furthermore, the radical advancement of artificial intelligence(AI) presents the huge potential to innovate almost all the industrial and economic activities. Given these technological developments, the goal of this paper is to investigate AI’s impact on the platform service innovation as well as its influence on the business performance. For the goal, this paper presents the review of the types of service innovation, the nature of platform services, and technological characteristics of leading AI technologies, such as chatbot and recommendation system. As an empirical study, this paper performs a multiple case study of Kakao Group which is the leading mobile platform service with the most advanced AI in Korea. To understand the role and effect of AI on Kakao platform service, this study investigated three cases, including chatbot agent of Kakao Bank, Smart Call service of Kakao Taxi, and music recommendation system of Kakao Mellon. The analysis results of the case study show that AI initiated innovations in platform service concepts, service delivery, and customer interface, all of which lead to a significant decrease in the transaction costs and the personalization of services. Finally, for the successful development of AI, this research emphasizes the significance of the accumulation of customer and operational data, the AI human capital, and the design of R&D organization.
흰쥐 뇌에서의 Presynaptic alpha-Receptor와 MAO 활성의 상관 관계

Relationship between hypertension and monoamine oxidase (MAO) activity in rat brain and the change of this relationship by presynaptic alpha-receptor agonist were studied. Animals were divided into three groups. Group I was composed of normotensive Sprague-Dawley rats (NR), group II of spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) and group III of acquired hypertensive rats induced by deoxycorticosterone acetate (DOCA) and NaCl treatment. Clonidine, a presynaptic alpha-receptor agonist, was administered to groups II and III. Blood pressures and MAO activities were measured in each group. MAO activities in the brain of SHR were lower than those of NR. Animals in group II received clonidine which lowered blood pressures but did not change MAO activities in the brain. DOCA and NaCl induced hypertension 21 days after these treatments in group III and did not cause any changes in brain MAO activity. Clonidine lowered blood pressures of group III but did not study suggest that abnormaly low MAO activities in SHR brain may be one of the underlying factors for the susceptibility to hypertension and that the decrease in noradrenergic neuronal activities through presynaptic alpha-receptor activation by clonidine may not be related to the changes of brain MAO activities.
벤처기업의 도약적 성장에 관한 연구: 대전지역 1천억 창업사례를 중심으로

With wide recognition of significant roles of venture companies in economic and industrial developments, substantial academic attention has been paid to understanding venture success and numerous policy measures have been made to help them. A serious problem, however, is that only a few limited number of venture could successfully grow to be large firm. The goal of this paper is to identify critical factors to drive ``leapfrogging`` growth of venture companies by analyzing the success cases in Daejeon area. The theoretical analysis and case study suggest 1) founders` entrepreneurship continuity as a significant internal organization factor for growth and highlight importance of 2) exploring foreign markets and globalization of business operation in the early stage of growth. Furthermore, the research results identify two critical innovation strategies, 3) ambidextrous R&D strategy and 4) open innovation strategy, for entrepreneurial founders to effectively catch the business chances brought by environment change.
중국어 투어가이드(관광통역안내사)의 셀프리더십(Self-leadership)이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

유능한 투어가이드(관광통역안내사)는 관광상품의 서비스품질과 만족도에 결정적 영향력을 가지며 장기적으로 인바운드 관광산업의 성장과 발전에 중요한 인적자원이다. 본 연구는 투어가이드가 업무역량을 높이고 뛰어난 성과를 달성하여 주관적 경력성공을 이룩할 수 있게 하는 요인으로서 셀프리더십에 주목하고 있다. 투어가이드는 조직의 체계적인 관리나 지원 없이 자율적으로 업무를 수행하는 프리랜서의 근무형태를 가진다. 따라서 스스로를 관리하고 이끌 수 있는 셀프리더십이 중요한 경력성공의 요인으로 작용할 수 있다. 본 연구는 셀프리더십의 구성요소로서 자기목표설정, 자기계획, 자기관찰, 자기보상의 요소가 주관적 경력성공에 긍정적 영향을 가질 것이라는 가설을 설정하고 실증연구를 실시하였다. 실증연구는 인천국제공항에서 중국어 투어가이드를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 수집된 통계데이터에 대한 신뢰도 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계분석과 회귀분석을 통해서 구성타당성을 확인하고 가설을 검증하였다. 분석결과는 셀프리더십의 자기목표설정, 자기계획, 자기관찰이 주관적 경력성공에 긍정적인 영향을 가지나 자기보상은 유의한 영향력을 가지지 않는다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 본 연구는 투어가이드의 주관적 경력성공을 셀프리더십을 통해서 설명하는 최초의 시도이며, 투어가이드의 선발과 교육정책에 중요한 시사점을 제공하고 있다. Constituting crucial human resources for the long-term growth and development of travel industry, competent tour guides play a significant role in enhancing service quality of package tour and improving travelers`satisfaction. Given that tour guides are freelancers having no systemic organizational control and supports, this paper proposes that strong self-leadership of tour guides is a critical factor to accomplish career success by improving work competence and achieving high performance. This paper hypothesized that four dimensions of self-leadership, such as self-goal setting, self-planning, self-observation, and self-rewarding have a positive effect on subjective career success of tour guides. For empirical analysis, this paper conducted a survey of tour guides for Chinese travelers in Incheon International Airport and performed confirmatory factor analysis and corelation analysis to assess construct validity and a regression analysis to test hypotheses. The research results show that self-goal setting, self-planning, and self-observation have a positive and significant effect on subjective career success, but self-rewarding has no influence. This research is the first attempt to analyze the influence of tour guides` self-leadership on subjective career success and the research results can provide critical policy implications for effective selection and education of tour guides.
