        In this study, we investigated the characteristics of the conversion efficiency and the effect of aged Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC). The DOC was composed of Warm-up Catalytic Converter (WCC) and Underbody Catalytic Converter (UCC). As the result, the conversion efficiency of THC was 10~50% on WCC and 40~50% on UCC. The conversion efficiency of CO was 80~90% on WCC and remained 10~20% of CO was purified on UCC. The WCC shows high conversion efficiency on CO. After 20 hours aging process of engine bench, conversion efficiencies of THC and CO were improved a little. It is because of activated catalyst surface by 20 hours aging. In case of 80 hours aging, the conversion efficiencies of THC and CO were decreased on WCC. However, the UCC was not affected by aging process.

        클라우드 서비스 도입을 위한 보안 중요도 인식에 대한 연구

        클라우드 서비스는 2008년 대기업의 기업용 서비스로 우리나라에 도입되었으나, 그 효과에 대한 인식이 높아짐에 따라 중소기업은 물론 공공기관까지 도입을 추진하는 등 중장기적으로 확산될 조짐이다. 그동안 많은 연구에서 클라우드 서비스 활성화의 저해요인으로 보안문제를 지적하였으나 예상되는 보안위협과 함께 대응 기술만을 제시하는 수준이었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 클라우드 서비스를 사용 해본 경험이 있는 기업 종사자들을 대상으로 이들이 인식하고 있는 보안위협의 중요도에 대하여 분석하였다. 이를 위해 클라우드 서비스 보안 영역을 관리적, 물리적, 기술적 보안으로 구분하고 각 영역별 세부요인들을 도출하였다. 순서화 로짓 모형을 통해 각 영역 및 세부 요인별 중요도를 분석한 결과 물리적 보안과 관리적 보안의 중요성을 높게 평가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 각 영역별로 보안정책, 서비스 시설에 대한 출입감시/통제 및 어플리케이션 보안을 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과는 클라우드 서비스를 도입한 기업 종사자들의 실제 사용경험을 바탕으로 그들이 인식하는 보안위협 우선순위를 제시하여 향후 클라우드 서비스를 도입하려는 기업 및 기관들의 보안전략 수립에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. The cloud service has become the significant factor to save the IT operation cost and to improve the productivities in companies. It was introduced to Korea for enterprise services of major companies in 2008. As the increase of recognition for its effect, more small businesses and public institutions plan to introduce the cloud computing services. The cloud computing researches have only focused on the security threats and response technologies to them. Therefore, this research analyzed the importances of responses to security threats in specific domains. The domains were divided into managerial, physical, and technical security. The specific factors in three domains were used for the analysis in this research as well. The ordered logit model was used for the analysis and the analysis results showed that physical security and managerial security are considered to be significantly important in the cloud computing security. The results also presented that the security policy, the control and surveillance to service infrastructure, and application security are highly important in the respect of specific factors. This research will contribute to enterprises or institutions in Korea, which want to introduce the cloud computing services, by aiding the establishment of effective security strategies.

        생화학/분자생물학 : 토양미생물 Bacillus sp. GS2에 의한 질산이온 흡수

        국내 시설농업에서 질소비료의 과다시용은 토양에 염류집적을 유발하고 있다. 토양중 축적된 질산이온을 제거하기 위하여 질산이온 흡수능이 뛰어난 토양미생물을 밭토양으로부터 분리하고, 질산이온 흡수 특성을 조사하였다. 분리한 GS2 균주는 50 mM 농도의 질산이온을 12시간 이내에 제거하였다. 이 균주는 16S rRNA 유전자의 염기서열을 분석하여 Bacillus sp. GS2로 분리동정하였다. 이 균주의 성장과 질산이온 흡수의 특성을 조사하였을 때, 각각 30-40oC와 37oC에서 최대치를 보였으며, 두 가지 모두 pH 6-8 범위가 최적의 조건임을 확인하였다. Bacillus sp. GS2 균주는 50 mM 질산이온을 포함하는 배지에서 배양하였을 때, 43 mM의 농도를 감소시켜 약 86%의 질산이온 흡수를 보였으며, 300 mM 까지의 농도범위에서 유사한 질산이온 제거 능력을 보여, 질산이온 흡수활성이 50 mM 이상에서 포화됨을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 Bacillus sp. GS2 균주의 우수한 균주성장과 질산이온 흡수능을 보여주는 것으로, 이 균주는 환경중 질산이온 제거에 유용한 균주로 이용될 수 있을 것이다. Over-application of nitrogen fertilizer keeps increasing the salinity in the soils of greenhouse in domestic agriculture. In order to remove the excess amounts of soil nitrate, soil microorganisms which have high capacity of nitrate uptake were isolated from the upland soils and their nitrate uptake activities were measured. Strain GS2 was able to remove 50 mM nitrate within 12 h. After sequence comparison analysis of 16S rRNA gene, the strain was identified and named as Bacillus sp. GS2. When the growth and nitrate uptake activities were measured, maximal values were obtained at 30-40oC and 37oC, respectively; however, both were optimal at pH 6-8. In the media containing 50 mM nitrate, Bacillus sp. GS2 removed 43 mM nitrate which is corresponding to 86% removal. Similar amounts of nitrate removal were observed at the nitrate concentrations up to 300 mM, showing a saturation in nitrate uptake at concentrations above 50 mM. These results imply that Bacillus sp. GS2 can be a good candidate for the microbial remediation of accumulated environmental nitrate because of its excellent growth and nitrate uptake activity.

        Enterobacter amnigenus GG0461 균주의 생산을 위한 배지개발 및 질산이온 흡수

        농업 환경 중에 과잉으로 축적한 질산이온의 제거를 위하여, 질산이온 흡수력이 우수한 Enterobacter amnigenus GG0461 균주를 분리하였다. 이 균주는 Pseudomonas agar F (PAF) 배지에 배양하였을 때, 3,000 ppm (50 mM) 이상의 질산이온 흡수가 가능하므로, 농업용 토양, 축산폐수, 산업폐수를 포함한 오염된 환경의 질산이온 제거를 위한 좋은 후보 균주가 될 수 있다. GG0461 균주의 대량생산을 위한 상업용 배지를 개발하기위하여 PAF 배지 성분을 상업용 재료로 대체하고, 균주의 성장과 질산이온 흡수 활력을 측정하였다. 탄소원인 글리세롤은 상업용 제품으로 대체하였고, 질소원으로 tryptone과 효모추출물, 대두박, 생선발효액을 배양실험에 사용하였다. 균주의 성장과 질산이온 흡수활력은 2% tryptone을 첨가한 배지에서 가장우수하였고, 효모추출물, 대두박, 생선발효액의 순으로 효과가 나타났다. Tryptone을 2% 첨가한 배지에서 균주의 질산이온 흡수는 배지의 pH를 낮추었으며, 이것은 질산이온의 흡수가 nitrate/proton antiporter의 활성으로 나타남을 의미한다. 이상의 결과에서 상업용 tryptone을 사용한 배지는 균주의 생리활성에 적합하였으며, peptone을 제외한 PAF 배지의 각 성분은 그것에 해당하는 상업용 재료로 대체할 수 있었다. 결론적으로, GG0461 균주의 배양을 위한 상업용 배지성분 조성은 2% tryptone과 1% glycerol, PAF 배지를 위한 무기이온들로 결정하였다. To remove excess nitrate from the agricultural environments, Enterobacter amnigenus GG0461 has been isolated as a bacterial strain having high capability of nitrate uptake activity. This strain was able to remove nitrate more than 3,000 ppm (50 mM) in the Pseudomonas agar F (PAF) medium. Therefore, it could be a candidate strain for a nitrate scavenger in the various contaminated environments, such as agricultural soils, livestock sewage, and industrial wastewater. In order to develop medium for the large-scale production of the strain GG0461, each component of PAF medium was replaced with the corresponding commercial product and the optimal conditions for bacterial growth and nitrate uptake activity were measured. Glycerol was replaced with the commercially available product and the nitrogen source was substituted with commercial tryptone, yeast extract, soybean meal, and fermented fish extract. Bacterial growth and nitrate uptake activity were maximal in the media containing 2% tryptone, followed by yeast extract, soybean meal, and fermented fish extract. The pH of the growth medium containing 2% tryptone was decreased by the bacterial nitrate uptake, suggesting that the nitrate uptake is mediated by a nitrate/proton antiporter. This result shows that the medium containing commercial tryptone was good enough for the physiological activity of the strain GG0461. Each component of PAF medium was successfully replaced with the corresponding commercial product except peptone. In conclusion, the composition of medium for the cultivation of the strain GG0461 was determined as 2% tryptone, 1% glycerol, plus required salts according to the composition of PAF medium.

        예비 임상병리사의 실무중심 교육의 강화를 위한 병원-학교 검사실 융합형(L2L) 교수학습 모형의 개발

        The development of teaching models to strengthen practical education and actively participate in the classes of students is now required in recent education situations. This study examined the participation and satisfaction level of students' classes after applying a teaching model-integrated hospital and school laboratory (named L2L). A total of 33 students who took the subject of a clinical microbiology experiments were involved in this study. Each group representative participating in a pre-class field exercise in the hospital microbiology laboratory was asked to conduct the experiment. After applying the L2L teaching models, the academic self-efficacy ($2.87{\pm}0.58{\rightarrow}3.38{\pm}0.55$), class participation ($2.60{\pm}0.92{\rightarrow}3.62{\pm}0.78$), and class satisfaction ($2.48{\pm}1.01{\rightarrow}3.85{\pm}0.87$) increased significantly (P<0.05). This means that pre-class field exercises created interest in the student's class and boosted self-confidence, leading to increased participation and satisfaction for the class. In conclusion, the L2L teaching model is an effective teaching method to enhance the practical training for preliminary clinical laboratory technologists.

        It is necessary to develop future-oriented and innovative energy technology in architecture area in order to handle the crisis about energy-environment problem. So this architecture area has been spurring the development of new technology for energy saving and alternative energy use. Double skin window system, an active covering to repond to the exterior change of the environment, is a skill that can reduce the indoor cooling and heating load and realize the environmental architecture. This study works out U-value of windows using the window-simulation program with the development and study of the double skin. And the effect of the double skin insulation on the effeciency rating has been analyzed, applying to the certification system of the building energy effeciency rating which has implemented.
