Lanthanide 착화합물 형성반응에 관한 반응기구와 양 3가 이온들의 용매구조를 규명하기 위해서 지난 수십년동안 Lanthanide 착화합물 형성반응에 관한 반응속도론적 연구가 활발하게 진행되어 왔다. 본고에서는 Lanthanide 착화합물 형성반응기구에 관해서 고찰하였다. To elucidate detailed mechanisms of lanthanide complex formation reactions and the structural features of the solvated plus-three cations, the kinetic studies of the complex formation reactions of lanthanide elements have been carried out for the past couple decades. The mechanisms proposed for the reactions in the literature are discussed.

수용액에서 몇가지 란탄 착화합물의 hypersensitive 전이대를 연구하였다. 리간드의 염기도$(pK_a)$와 란탄 착화합물의 hypersensitive 전이대의 진동자 세기 사이에 정립된 선형 관계에 근거를 두고, 금속-리간드 결합간에 존재하는 공유 결합성을 anthranilate, pyrazine-2-carboxylate, 및 pyruvate 착화합물에 대해서 논하였다. The hypersensitive $f{\rightarrow}f$ transitions of Nd(III), Ho(III), and Er(III) have been studied for some lanthanide complexes in aqueous solution. Based on the linear correlation between the oscillator strength of the transition and the basicity$(pK_a)$ of the ligand, the covalency in the metal-ligand bonding is discussed for lanthanide anthranilate, pyrazine-2-carboxylate, and pyruvate.

금속원자 반응기를 사용하여 몰리브덴 금속증기와 1,3-butadiene 유도체를 반응시켜서 (${\eta}^4$-CH$_2$CRCR'CH$_2$)$_3$Mo(R, R'= H 또는 CH$_3$)를 합성하였으며, 이 때 생성된 유기금속화합물에 대한 1,3-butadiene 유도체의 메틸치환기 효과에 대하여 논의하였다. 그리고 몰리브덴 금속증기와 다른 몇 가지 알카디엔화합물을 반응시켜서 유기금속화합물이 형성됨을 확인하였으며 이들은 공기 중의 실온에서 쉽게 분해 되었다. 또한 (${\eta}^4$-CH$_2$CCH$_3$CCH$_3$CH$_2$)$_3$Mo와 일산화탄소를 반응시켜서 (C$_6$H$_{10}$)$_2$(CO)$_3$Mo를 합성하였으며 이 화합물의 금속-리간드 결합에 관하여 논하였다. Various tris (${\eta}^4$-diene) molybdenums were easily synthesized by the reaction of various 1,3-dienes and molybdenum metal vapors by using metal atom reactor. The methyl substituent effect of the tris (${\eta}^4$-diene) molybdenum produced were discussed. And some alkadiene-molybdenum complexes which were easily decomposed in the air at room temperature were also formed.(C$_6$H$_{10}$)$_2$(CO)$_3$Mo were synthesized and its molybdenum-diene bond type were discussed.

A typical metachromatic dye, methylene blue, has been found not to associate in the various kind of nonaqueous organic solvents and the spectra observed in ethanolic solution are in good agreement with the calculated monomer spectra in both the shape and the absorption intensity. These facts reveal that the water molecules play an important role in the self-assocition of the dye molecules in aqueous solution. The spectral changes of methylene blue observed in the water-ethanol mixture with the change in wt.% ethanol are analyzed and discussions are made both upon the change in intensity and the frequency shift. The intensity change is ascribed to the change in the degree of association and the frequency shift is explained in terms of the interaction between excited state of the molecules and the solvent polarity. The unexpected red shift due to the addition of small amount of ethanol in water seems to be the results of water-structure effect on the formation of the dye dimers. It is concluded that in the mechanism of the self-association of the molecules of metachromatic dye-stuffs in aqueous solution much account must be made of the effect of water-structure as well as the interactive forces between the molecules.
Europium-PDTA 錯化合物의 陽이온 交換反應機構에 關한 硏究

The kinetics of cationic exchange reaction has been studied for Yb(Ⅲ) and europium-propylenediaminetetraacetate in an aqueous solution using polarographic method. The measurements are made at 20℃ and at an ionic strength of 0.5 M(KCI). The solutions are buffered with 12.5 mM sodium acetate and varying amounts of acetic acid. The cationic exchange reaction has been found to be catalyzed by the hydrogen ion.

The metachromatic behavior of pyronine G, methylene blue, and acridine orange in the presence of various substances has been investigated by means of absorption spectroscopy. The substances examined for the addition effects are inorganic salts (NaCl, CaCl_2, and BaCl_2), water soluble organic compounds (guanidine, urea, sucrose, glucose, and fructose), polyelectrolytes (sodium salt of chondroitin sulfate, potassium salt of polyvinylsulfate), and nonelectrolytic polymer (polyvinylpyrrolidone). Remarkable increase in dye aggregation with increase in salt concentration is observed and this is ascribed to the activity of counter ion from the salts which will presumably reduce the repulsive force between the cationic dye molecules. The presence of organic compounds causes retardation of the association of dye molecules. This phenomenon is discussed in terms of the effect of water structure on hydrophobic association of dye molecules. The striking changes and a new band found in the spectra of methylene blue due to the addition of polyanions are thought to be attributable to the interaction between the polymer and dye molecules. In the case of polyvinylsulfate, however, the addition of excessive amounts causes the disappearance of the new band and restoration of monomeric and dimeric bands of methylene blue. These facts suggested that the new band may be arised not only from the formation of bound dye species but also from the various kinds of aggregation of dye molecules on the polyanion chain.
Lanthanide-Anthranilite 錯化合物 形成에 關한 硏究

The thermodynamic parameters for the complexes between lanthanides and anthranilate ion (1 : 1) have been determined in an aqueous perchlorate medium of the ionic trength = 0.1 at temperature of 25。 The thermodynamic parameters obtained by the entropy titration method are compared with those for the other amino-car-boxylate ligands.
The Spectral Study of Neodymium(Ⅲ) Complexes of Glycine and Mercaptoacetic Acid in Aqueous Solution

The absorption spectra of neodymium(Ⅲ) ion in aqueous solution have been measured in the environments of glycine and mercaptoacetic acid. The enhancements of the hypersensitive transition ^(4)I_(9/2)→^(2)G_(7/2), ^(4)G_(5/2) band with the increase of the ligand concentration is more significant for mercaptoacetate ligand than for glycinate. The variation of the intensity of this hypersensitive transition band with the change of the ligands is discussed in relation to the stability of the complexes.
Stability Constants of Some Lanthanide Anthranilates

수용액에서 Lanthanide-Anthranilate (1:1) 착화합물의 안정도 상수를 전위차 적정법에 의해서 구하였다. 측정은 25℃와 이온강도가 1M NaClO_4인 용액에서 이루어졌다. 실험결과들을 다른 유사한 착화합물의 안정도 상수와 비교 검토 하므로서 Anthranilate의 Amino기가 결합에 관여하는 가를 고찰하여 보았다.
