This article proposes a highly reliable power and communication system that guarantees the protection of essential instruments in a nuclear power plant under a severe accident. Both power and communication lines are established with not only conventional wired channels, but also the proposed wireless channels for emergency reserve. An inductivepower transfer system is selected due to its robust power transfer characteristics under high temperature, high pressure, and highly humid environments with a large amount of scattered debris after a severe accident. A thermal insulation box and a glass-fiber reinforced plastic box are proposed to protect the essential instruments, including vulnerable electronic circuits, from extremely high temperatures of up to 627 C and pressure of up to 5 bar. The proposed wireless power and communication system is experimentally verified by an inductive power transfer system prototype having a dipole coil structure and prototype Zigbee modules over a 7-m distance, where both the thermal insulation box and the glass-fiber reinforced plastic box are fabricated and tested using a high-temperature chamber. Moreover, an experiment on the effects of a high radiation environment on various electronic devices is conducted based on the radiation test having a maximum accumulated dose of 27 Mrad.

얼마나 빠른 환경의 변화에 잘 적응하느냐에 따라서 개인과 조직의 성패는 좌우된다. 이러한 환경의 변화에 잘 적응하기 위해서는 정보의 활용이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 농장경영체의 정보 활용도 향상을 위한 구체적인 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 설문과 인터뷰조사, 선행사례 조사 등을 실시하고 농장경영에 필요한 의사결정 단계별 정보를 도출하고 이를 제공하기 위한 데이터베이스와 모델 베이스를 제안하였다. 또한 구축된 정보를 잘 활용하는 정보 접근 방법을 병목정보 해결의 시각에서 정형검색과 비정형검색방법을 제시하였다. 이러한 가치사슬적 접근 방법은, 아직 농업분야에서는 보편적인 내용은 아니지만 여타 첨단정보산업과 서비스업에서는 경영체별로 구체화하여 비교적 유용하게 활용하고 있는 방법이다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 품목별로 의사결정 단계별 데이터베이스와 모델베이스가 구축되어 농장경영체가 잘 활용함으로서 불확실성 요인과 변동요인에 잘 대응하여 농업 생산성 향상에 기여할 수 있도록 국가 차원에서 구체적인 시스템적 접근이 필요하다고 본다.
비디오 관찰법을 활용한 저상버스 이용자 행동 패턴에 관한 연구

With the diffusion of Universal Design, interest in low-floor bus for the mobility handicapped person is increasing. In this study, we observed behavior patterns of passengers who are using low-floor bus based on video observation method. We investigated behavior patterns of passengers in Context of Use perspective. The components used in this Context of Use analysis were derived in consideration of various passengers, situations, and equipment. Drawing on these components, total 16 user behavior patterns are induced. The analysis of the usage case in correspondence with each behavior pattern showed that passengers demand more supportable equipment and individual behavior convenience including setting their personal belongings. We expect that the result of this study enables to understand major discussions of existing low-floor bus and to provide direction for designing next-generation city bus.
Novel Dummy Load for 40W Fluorescent Lamps

A new fluorescent dummy load to replace one of the fluorescent lamps in a dual lamp type rapid-start ballast for halving the lamp power is proposed. Using a circuit composed of a fundamental compensation circuit and a harmonic filter circuit, a new fluorescent dummy load having superior characteristics than a conventional dummy load is developed. The design principle and architecture of the proposed fluorescent dummy load is explained and verified by experiments.
