        Since old one have sought for good health and longevity, so everyone hopes that he will live long, have eternal youth and immortality. After a number of people have exerted themselves and tried to get it, they found that Dietary Cure Therapy is the most rapid and important Health-Preservation's as a basic element of health and prevention and treatment of modern diseases caused by food life. By reviewing lots of opinions and situations about the Oriental Dietary Cure Therapy, I have tried to explain the possibility of new treatments to modern diseases (noncontagious chronic disease) and to show the scientific ingestion methods through the Oriental and Occidental approaches about Dietary to find the ways of good health and longevity. 1. Food that provides a body with nutrition has been considered as an indispensable source keeping the physiological function and an immunity keeping man from a disease. Especially in the Oriental medical science, they have developed the idea that food is the nutritional basis of Jyung·Gi·Shin(精·氣·神) organizing the body, so Dietary Cure is one of Health- Promotion Theory. 2. While the Dietary Cure Therapy in modern medical science is nutrition-centered and treatment-centered method, the Oriental Dietary Cure Therapy, as a Health-Promotion Theory-centered and prevention-centered, first of all, is the most rational plan to modern diseases (noncontagious chronic diseases) which are required the prevention and improvement of daily lives. 3. The Oriental Dietary Cure Therapy that centered on the Gi(氣: energy) circulation mechanism in the body is next to be in accord with the principles and methods of Diet Restriction which is working to control senility. So it is expected to contribute to medical researches of Anti-aging and developments of health. 4. The Oriental Dietary Cure Therapy is thought to be a good prevention about chronic diseases and a method to develop the health, if we apply it to the further study scientifically, to be sure, it will be the key to solve senility and to develop the health.

        Fabrication of YSZ/GDC Bilayer Electrolyte Thin Film for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

        Yttria-stablized zirconia (YSZ) is the most commonly used electrolyte material, but the reduction in workingtemperature leads to insufficient ionic conductivity. Ceria based electrolytes (GDC) are more attractive in termsof conductivity at low temperature, but these materials are well known to be reducible at very low oxygen partialpressure. The reduction of electrolyte resistivity is necessary to overcome cell performance losses. So, thin YSZ/GDCbilayer technology seems suitable for decreasing the electrolyte resistance at lower operating temperatures. Bilayerelectrolytes composed of a galdolinium-doped CeO2 (Ce0.9Gd0.1O1.95, GDC) layer and yttria-stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) layerwith various thicknesses were deposited by RF sputtering and E-beam evaporation. The bilayer electrolytes weredeposited between porous Ni-GDC anode and LSM cathode for anode-supported single cells. Thin film structure andsurface morphology were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), using CuKα-radiation in the range of 2ce morphol℃. The XRD patterns exhibit a well-formed cubic fluorite structure, and sharp lines of XRD peaks can be observed,which indicate a single solid solution. The morphology and size of the prepared particles were investigated by fieldemissionscanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The performance of the cells was evaluated over 500~800℃, usinghumidified hydrogen as fuel, and air as oxidant.

        가스공급배관에서 응력부식균열 군에 의해 교란된 자속의 유한요소 모델링

        기존의 누설자속 탐상용 pig를 이용한 가스배관 검사시 축 방향 결함의 검출은 매우 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 원주 방향의 전류와 축 방향 응력부식균열(SCC)의 상호작용을 이용한 새로운 기술을 소개한다. 이 방법의 타당성은 유한요소법을 통하여 연구하였는데, 이러한 상호작용의 유한요소 해석은 재료의 비선형성, 무체적성 균열의 작은 크기, 속도 효과를 고려한 시간 단계별 계산등으로 인한 컴퓨터성능 제한으로 매우 어렵다. 이 논문에서는 이 문제점을 해결하기 위해 교란방법(perturbation method)을 이용한 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 전체 해석과정은 순차적으로 수행할 수 있는 4개의 간단한 과정들로 나누어 수행하였다. 모델링 결과는 이 방법이 하나의 SCC 또는 여러 개가 존재하는 SCC군을 효과적으로 검출 할 수 있음을 보여 주었다. The detection of axial cracks using conventional MFL pig is a significant challenge in the gas pipeline inspection. In this study, a technique using interaction of circumferentially induced currents with axial stress corrosion crack is presented. The feasibility of this technique is investigated using finite element modeling. Finite element analysis of such interaction is a difficult problem in terms of both computation time and memory requirements. The challenges arise due to the nonlinearity of material properties, the small size of tight cracks relative to that of the magnetizer, and also time stepping involved in modeling velocity effects. This paper presents an approach based on perturbation methods. The overall analysis procedure is divided into 4 simple steps that can be performed sequentially. Modeling results show that this technique can effectively detect colonies of SCC as well as single SCC.

        유방암종에서 Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor-C 발현

        Background : Vascular endothelial growth factor-C (VEGF-C) is a novel growth factor that regulates lymphangiogenesis and/or angiogenesis via binding to the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-3 (VEGFR-3) or VEGFR-2. Recent studies have suggested that VEGF-C may play a role in lymph node metastasis. This study was conducted to examine whether the expression of VEGF-C is associated with the clinicopathologic parameters, and especially lymph node metastasis, of invasive ductal carcinoma. Methods : Immunohistochemical staining was performed for VEGF-C and CD31 in the surgically resected specimens from 83 patients with invasive breast carcinoma. Results : Of the 83 breast carcinomas, 61 (74%) cases showed cytoplasmic VEGF-C immunoreactivity. VEGF-C expression was associated with lymph node metastasis (p=0.03), but it did not correlate with tumor size, the histologic grade, and the presence of estrogen receptor or progesteron receptor. The mean microvessel density in the cases without VEGF-C expression was 51.9±30.1 and it was 72.9±33.0 in the cases with 2+ expression for VEGF-C (p=0.07). Conclusions : This study suggests that VEGF-C expression may have an association with lymph node metastasis in the patients with breast carcinoma.

        뇌졸중 환자에서 가시광선을 이용한 광치료의 효과

        Objective: The aims of this study was to evaluate the effects of visible light therapy for the stroke patients. Method: Thirty stroke patients were enrolled and classified into two groups, experimental (n=19) and control group (n=11). Control group received conventional rehabilitation therapy. Experimental group received additional light therapy with red light (intensity 962 lux, wave length 620 nm) on wrist, elbow, and shoulder joint area (diameter 10 cm) at the same time, 3 times per day, 20 minutes per session, 5 days per week, for 2 weeks. All patients were assessed their paralytic upper extremity functions using manual muscle testing, two point discremination test (2-PD), Semmes-Weinstein monofilament test, and modified Ash- worth scale. To evaluate neurophysiological effects of light therapy, sympathetic skin response, thermography, and doppler ultrasound on radial artery were performed. Results: Compared to the control group, the experimental group significantly improved in the 2-PD test, Semmes- Weistein monofilament test, and the hand grip power. Neurophysiologic parameters showed no significant difference between experimental and control groups. Conclusion: Visible light therapy maybe used as an effective therapeutic modality for improving hand function of stroke patients. Further studies are required to define the mechanism of effects on paralytic extremity of visible light.
