N/A Our study is aimed at proposal of systematic verification method of molecular structure using measuring method of selective ionic determination and spectrometry on 34 kinds of surfactants such as sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) which are most widely used today. In the IR spectrum, unsaturated fatty acids reveal themselves by HC= at 3000~3020㎝^-1, and intensity of 720㎝㎝^-1 depends on carbon length of alkyl group. Also ethylene oxide(EO) adducts exhibit weak characteristic bands by -CH_2-CH_2-O at 1350, 1100 and 950㎝^-1. Isethionate can be distinguished from diester succinate by intensity ratio of 1740 and 1200㎝^-1 spectrums, the ratio of latter is close to 1 due to 2 carboxylate radical in diester succinate. Quaternary ammonium salts exhibit characteristic band of C_4N^+ at 1000-900㎝^-1. In the case of dialkyl dimethyl ammonium salts in quaternary ammonium surfactants, the spectrum of 3000㎝^-1 by N-CH_3 collapses to a very weak band at 3020㎝^-1. In ammonium heterocyclic derivatives, pyridinium salts show characteristic bands at 1640 and 1460㎝^-1, while imidazolinium salts exhibit characteristic band at 1620-1610㎝^-1. In the characteristic spectrum at 1080-1050㎝^-1 on OH radicals of the alkyl esters, primary alcohol appears as weak band and the 2 bands show in almost same intensity when primary and secondary alcohols exist together in one molecule. Also, alkyl ester of polyhydric alcohols appears as various broad band.

POE(6)-2-ethylhexyl ether(PEH-6), Newpol PE-68(PE-68), Na₂CO₃, tetrasodium pyrophosphate(TSPP), Demol C 및 MJU-100A를 블렌딩하여 알칼리탈지제(DA)를 제조하였다. 철강 시료편에 DA를 처리하여 탈지력을 시험해 본 결과 DA-6(PEH-6 45g/PE-68 45g/Na₂CO₃ 120g/TSPP 60g/Demol C 15g/MJU-100A 15g/Water 300g mixture)의 농도 4wt%일 때 70℃와 90℃에서의 프레스방청유 부착물에 대한 탈지율은 각각 94%와 96%였고, 70℃에서의 소입유 부착물에 대한 탈지율은 94%로 나타나 DA-6은 양호한 탈지력을 보여주었다. 또한 DA-6 농도 6wt%, 60℃에서의 Ross & Miles법에 의한 기포력 측정결과, 조작 1분 후의 포고가 8㎜와 77㎜로 각각 나타나 DA-6은 양호한 저기포성 탈지제임이 입증되었다. Alkaline degreasing agent(DA) was prepared by blending of POE(6)-2-ethylhexyl ether(PEH-6), Newpol PE-68(PE-68), Na₂CO₃, tetrasodium pyrophosphate(TSPP), Demol C, and MJU-100A. The degreasing power of DA`s was tested with steel specimens and the results are the following : A solution of 4wt% DA-6(PEH-6 45g/PE-68 45g/Na₂CO₃ 120g/TSPP 60g/Demol C 15g/MJU-100A 15g/Water 300g mixture) shows 94% and 96% of degreasing power for press-rust preventing oil at 70℃ and 90℃ respectively, and 94% for quenching oil at 70℃. The test results show that DA-6 was a better degreasing agent. Foam heights measured after lminute by Rose & Miles method and Rose & Clark method at 6wt%, 60℃ were 8㎜ and 77㎜, respectively. As the result, DA-6 was proven to be a goad, low-foaming, degreasing agent.

N/A An ACR/HMMM film was prepared by blending high-solid ACR with curing agent, hexamethoxymethyl melamine (HMMM). An active curing reaction was observed at 170℃. The dynamic viscoelastic T_g of the final film increased with the static viscoelastic T_g of the film. The log damp value, which means a viscoelastic ratio, decreased with the increase in the curing temperature of the film. Physical properties of the films were within a suitable range for films, and by an accelerated weathering resistance test the films were proved weather resistible ones.
지방산 폴리아미드계 내구성 유연제의 제조와 나일론 섬유에의 응용

An O/W type softner(NDSA) was prepared by blending of three kinds of emulsifiers, polyoxyethylene(10) castor oil, polyoxyethylene(20) oleyl ether, polyoxyethylene(30) mono laurate, with 2, 2`-didocosamidodiethylarnine and tetra(2-docosamidoethyl) urea which were synthesized as the main component of a softner. Emulsion stability of NDSA was good, and mixed HLB value was 9.2. NDSA was found to be a good durable softner for nylon through the measurement of softness, lubrication, antistatic property, bending resistance, and color fastness.

Durable softening water repellents for nylon fiber were synthesized, using two compounds: quaternized octadecyl methacrylate-2-diethylaminoethyl methacrylate copolymer as a mother resin of water repellent and quaternized fatty carbamide for improving softness and hydrostatic pressure, of which syntheses were studied in the previous papers. They were blended with waxes and emulsifiers in a variety of ratios and synthesized into water repellent PADWC, and it was nylon taffeta treated with and without textile finishing resin. The synthesized water repellents can be used either or without resin. The optimum curing temperature was 150 to 160℃ and the optimum concentration was 3 to 5wt%. In the independent and conjunct treatment, the water repellency of nylon taffeta samples have no remarkable changes between initial value and that after three times washing, so these prove that the synthesized compounds are durable water repellent. The water repellency of PADWC-3 and -4 were around 90. Also, comparison of crease recovery and tear strength after repelling treatment showed that the synthesized water repellents have a very high softening effect.
