The early hydration characteristics according to the C3S/C3A ratio and presence of gypsum, in order to establish the hydration mechanism of the system C3S-C3A, have been studied. The rate of C3S dissolution in the system C3S-Gypsum was higher than that in the system C3S. Consequently, the induction period was reduced and the rate of Ca(OH)2 formation in the accleration period was increased. The hydration of C3S in the system C3S-C3A was retarded because Al3+ in the liquid phase originating from the hydration of C3A was incorporated into calcium hydrosilicates formed. The retardation phenomenon of C3S hydration was not appeared in the system C3S-C3A-gypsum because the reaction of monosulfate formation became the rate-determining step.

The early hydration characteristics according to the C3A polymorphism and the presence of gypsum, in order to establish the hydration mechanism of the system C3S-C3A, have been studied. The hydration rate of C3A was changed according to the its crystal structure and influenced the hydration of C3S. That is, the hydration rate of C3S was accelerated in case of orthorhombic-C3A, but that was slightly retarded in case of melt-C3A than that of cubic-C3A. In the system C3S-C3A-gypsum, the retardation phenomenon of the reaction of monosulfate formation was observed in case of both orthorhombic and melt-C3A.

The early hydration characteristics of the system C3S-C3A-C4AF according to the clinker composition variations, in order to establish the mutual interactionof clinker minerals during the portland cement hydration, have been studied. The early hydration rate of C3S was greatly effected by the change of C3S/C3A ratio. The lower the C3S/C3A ratio was, the faster the apex reaching time and the rate of heat liberation of the 2nd exothermic peak originating from the formation of Ca(OH)2 were. The effect of C3S/C3A ration on the amounts of Ca(OH)2 formation was decreased, in process of hydration time, but the effect of C3S content was increased.

Mixed layer clay mineral among Chongsong pettery stones, which is important as raw material in ceramic manufactures, was investigated and then Al-chlorite(Sudoite)-Montmorillonite 1:1 regular interstratified clay mineral(Tosudite) was found to exist. X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis and infra-red absorption spectra were examined. The following results showed that the chief clay mineral of Chongsong pottery stone resembled to Al-chlorite(Sudoite)-Montmorillonite regular mixed layer. 1. Lattice spacing d(001) and d(002) after treatments showed as follows: d(001) d(002) untreated 29.4 17.7 ethylene glycol treatment 32.7 15.5 heat treatment - 14.2 2. DTA showed exothermal at 980 ℃ and endothermal at 70℃, 170℃, 550 ℃ and 570℃. 3. Infra-red absorption spectra showed OH absorption at wave number 3630cm??, 3650cm?? and 3530cm??.

Glomus tumors are neoplasms that are composed of modified smooth muscle cells of the glomus body. Here, we report a case of multiple glomus tumors of the ankle that showed various histologic types, including the solid type (glomus tumor proper) and angiomatous type (glomangioma). The tumor cells observed in this case also showed prominent intranuclear inclusions, which has not yet been reported in glomus tumors. Ultrastructural examination demonstrated that the nuclear inclusions were not true inclusion bodies but were intranuclear cytoplasmic pseudoinclusions formed by cytoplasmic invaginations that formed as a result of the deep and complex nuclear contours.

In this paper, a family of decentralized adaptive controller is proposed to control robot manipulators which are governed by highly nonlinear dynamic equations. The controller is computationally efficient since it does not require mathematical model or parameter values of the manipulators. The stability of the manipulators with the controller is proved by Lyapunov theory. The results of numerical simulations show that the system is stable, and has excellent trajectory tracking performance.
