Fixtensive studies were undertaken to analyze the genetic basis of economically important quantitative characters in the silkworm by diallel crosses of four inbred lines differing widely in silk yielding ability. Some differences between the reciprocal crosses were detected in cocoon weight, cocoon shell weight, cocoon filament length and cocoon filament weight in case the parental lines were greatly differenent each other in silk yielding ablity. The general combining ability (GCA) varied with the inbred lines and M242, a Chieese sex-limited larval marking variety showed high GCA value in the economic characters, such as cocoon yield, cocoon weight, cocoon filament length and weight, and raw silk percentage. The highest heterosis effect, about 13% to 14% was seen in cocoon and raw silk yield and it was low in cocoon reelability and raw silk percentage with less than 1%. It is advisable to improve highly heritable quantitative characters such as larval duration, cocoon shell weight, cocoon filament length and raw silk percentage by means of selection, and to select single crosses with high heterosis effect for cocoon weight and cocoon yield which show overdominance. Genetic correlation should be considered when more than two characters are targets for improvement and selecting high cocoon shell weight is effective to breed high silk yielding varieties. It is difficult to improve cocoon reelability because of low heritability (0.11) and its negative correlation with cocoon-silk quality.
누에 卵黃素(Vitellin)의 分離와 免疫學的 特性 및 發育에 따른 含量變化

Vitellin, the major yolk protein of the silkworm, Bombyx mori was purified, and its immunological properties and the quantitative changes during embryogenesis were studied. The ovary transplantation into male hosts was also carried out to find out its effect on the yolk protein synth esis. The pupal vitellogenin and the egg vitellin of Bombyx mori were purified by DEAE-cellulose column chromatography. These two female specific proteins showed the same mobility in the polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the same reaction in the double immunodiffusion test. The immunological identity was also observed between the vitellins of Bombyx mori and Bombyx mandarina. The rudimentary ovaries transplanted into the male hosts of silkworms produced eggs without vitellin, indicating that the yolk precursors synthesized in other female organ beyond the ovary were necessary to produce vitellins. The major yolk protein, vitellin was disintegrated and utilized mostly during late stage of embryogenesis. It was different characteristics from the egg specific protein, which was utilized continuously from the early embryonic stage.

The effects of some dietry nutrients as β-sitosterol, methionine and α-tocopheral in the artificial diet were investigated, on the quantities of vitellogenin and vitellin in the silkworm, Bomyx mori. The results obtained are as follows: 1. the quantities of vitellogenin in the pupal haemolymph and vitellin in the eggs were found increased, when 5㎎ or 10㎎ of β-sitosterol was added to one gram of dry artificial diet. 2. The remarkable increase in the quantities of vitellogenin and vitellin were noticed, when 6.5㎎ methionine was added to one gram of dry artificial diet. 3. The quantities of vietllogenin and vitellin were decreased when 4㎍ or 2㎍ of α-toeopherol was added to one gram of dry artificial diet.

2005년, Yong과 Lee는 buyer-seller 핑거프린팅 프로토콜을 제안하면서, 대칭(symmetric) 암호계와 가환 (commutative) 암호계를 이용하기 때문에 속도가 빠르고 익명성을 갖는다고 주장한 바 있다. 그러나 이 방식은 공격자가 man-in-the-middle 방법을 이용하여 공격할 경우 정당한 사용자의 핑거프린트가 포함된 콘텐츠를 얻을 수 있는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 Yong-Lee 방식의 안전성 취약점을 살펴보고 이를 막을 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. In 2005, Yong and Lee proposed a buyer-seller fingerprinting protocol using symmetric and commutative encryptions. They claimed that their protocol was practical and anonymous since they used symmetric and commutative encryptions. However, an attacker can get the content embedded with one or more honest buyers' fingerprints using man-in-the-middle attack. In this letter, we point out the weakness and propose methods for improving to their protocol.

The information security is very important in computer communication network, and the security system has been developed in many aspects to provide secure communication. The secret key distribution and mutual user authentication are essential element in designing security system, then many algorithms and implementation schemes have been proposed. But they don't consider communication protocol, so they are not easy to adapt a real communication networks. In this paper, we propose a key distribution and mutual user authentication scheme based on X.25 protocol which is the most popular in packet communication, and the proposed scheme maintains a protocol transparency and can select communication mode, so the security system is more capable.
