        In this study the deformations and stresses occurred in the elastic rail fastening system were evaluated according to applied extreme track forces based on various field conditions track curvature and poor properties. The purpose of this study is to establish a method for efficient management and suggest guide line for track construction in order to secure the performance quality of the elastic rail fastening system on the sharp curved track.. Therefore initial construction qualities of rail and concrete bed initial clamping force and applied extreme track forces were used into experiment as several parameters. Using these test results the performance characteristics of the elastic rail fastening system were also evaluated. As a result it suggested the method to secure long-term durability of fastening system and comparing sharp curved track to results on field test.

        텐션클램프의 초기 체결력이 탄성레일체결장치의 성능에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 텐션클램프의 초기 체결력이 급곡선 궤도용 탄성레일체결장치의 성능에 미치는 영향을 검토함에 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 탄성레일체결장치의 구성품 중 텐션클램프의 거동을 평가하기 위해 초기 체결력의 변화와 횡압의 증가를 고려한 실내시험, 현장측정 및 수치해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석 및 실험결과, 초기 체결력의 감소는 텐션클램프에 도입되는 초기 압축응력의 감소로 나타났다. 또한 텐션클램프의 압축응력은 급곡선 궤도에서 발생하는 횡압의 작용에 따라 인장응력으로 변환되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 초기 체결력에 의해 텐션클램프에 도입된 압축응력은 외력에 따른 발생 인장응력 저감을 위한 보강력으로 작용하는 것으로 분석되어, 탄성레일체결장치의 장기 내구성능 확보와 안정적인 거동을 유지하기 위해서는 적정 초기 체결력의 확보가 중요한 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of initial clamping force of tension clamp on the performance of an elastic rail fastening system used in sharp curve track. In this study, the initial clamping force and the increasing lateral wheel loads were conducted in the analytical and experimental study, i.e., finite element analysis, laboratory and field test. Using the analytical and experimental results, the performance of the tension clamp was investigated. It was found that the stress of tension clamp depends on the initial clamping force. Therefore the initial clamping force appeared to directly affect the compression stress of the tension clamp. It was found that the compression stress of tension clamp was transferred to the tensile stress by applied the lateral wheel load in service sharp curve track. Further, it was concluded that the initial clamping force was applied on the strengthening force for the tension clamp and then the appropriate initial clamping force was important to ensure a stable performance and long term endurance of tension clamp.

        The surroundings around subway are becoming more lively for project of CBD (an redevelopment project), however vibrations which are made through passing train cold spread buildings around. The structure-borne noise could be generated at the same time that makes people including developers and th citizens have negative viewpoint on railway. Especially, Seoul Metro 1-4 lines ar built alongside the road nearby houses and business district. That could make plenty of public resentments because of the structure-borne noise. Seoul Metro should make active alternative plans for their future urban environment projects which will be conducted. The case was Railway Facility which were conducted to minimize structure-borne noise from sharp curved track section (4 line, Sinyongsan~Ichon, R 250m). The section is adjacent to house district as near as 6.6m related with pusing international city project, the 4th urban environment project around international building, near Yongsan station. The interval of sleepers would be downsized in half with breaking existing case, and pad stiffness is reduced 4 ton from 10 ton. That makes structure-borne noise minimized because of vibrations are lowered about 19.1-23.0db. The structure above has remained for a year and a half from October, 2008, and had not any trouble to perform excellence with 80million ton rail accumulated tonnage.

      • 도시철도 궤도형식별 장기 사용레일의 피로수명 평가

        본 연구에서는 궤도형식별 장기 사용레일에 대한 실내피로시험을 수행하였고, 궤도형식별 장기 사용레일의 잔존수명을 표현한 파괴확률 50% S-N 선도는 적은 실험데이터에 대한 가중치 확률 해석기법을 사용하여 도출하였다. 여기서 피로시험에 사용된 레일들이 누적통과톤수가 서로 다르기 때문에 누적통과톤수를 평균하여 반복횟수를 수정하였다. 또한, 레일표면요철 및 열차속도를 고려한 레일 저부 휨응력은 기존 연구결과 도출된 레일휨응력 예측식을 사용하여 장기 사용레일의 잔존수명을 평가하였다. 레일 피로수명 평가결과, 레일피로수명이 기준치에 비해 약 2억톤이상 높았다. 또한, 자갈궤도에 비해 콘크리트궤도 레일의 피로수명이 약 3억톤이상 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 도시철도에서 레일교체기준을 자갈궤도와 콘크리트궤도로 구분할 필요가 있으며, 레일연마를 통한 레일관리가 이루어진다면 기준치가 아닌 목표치로 관리할 필요가 있다. 또한, 피로한도 이하의 응력범위에 대한 피로시험결과를 바탕으로 레일의 피로수명을 평가하기 위해서는 수정마이너법칙보다는 피로한도 이상에서의 S-N선도 기울기의 1/2인 하이바크 법칙을 적용하는 것이 합리적이라 판단되었다. In this study, we carried out fatigue tests on existing laid rails. Based on the test results, an S-N curve expressing the remaining life of laid rails at a fracture probability of 50% was obtained using weighted probit analysis suitable for small-sample fatigue data sets. As rails used for testing had different histories in terms of accumulated passing tonnage, the test data were corrected to average out the accumulated passing tonnage. We estimated the remaining service lives for laid rails according to the track types on the urban railway using the prediction equation for the bending stress of rail developed in the past to estimate rail base bending stress and that surface irregularities into consideration. Estimating the remaining service life of laid rails showed that the rail replacement period could be extended over 200MGT. Also, the concrete track compared to the ballast track, the fatigue life of rail is analyzed approximately 300MGT higher than. Therefore, the rail replacement criteria need to distinguish between the ballast track and the concrete track, and not the standard needs to be managed as a target, although it is necessary to remove longitudinal rail surface irregularities at welds by grinding. Also, the fatigue test results under fatigue limit, Haibach"s rule appling half slope of S-N curve under the fatigue limit was considered more reasonable than modified Miner"s rule for estimating rail fatigue life.

      • 레일지지계수 및 축중 변화에 따른 B2S판넬의 최적두께 산정

        Most of Domestic railroads was composed of the ballast track that had an advantage of LCC (Life Cycle Cost) and it was constantly developed with the railroad materials such as a fastening components. Recently, it also has turning point to the concrete slab tracks that improve the driving stability. As the concrete tracks are planned, the Rail Level is regarded as an important factor on the construction expense. Although the Rail Level becomes lower than before that is to be stable enough for vehicle operating with technological development. Because of the B2S features that used a precast panel, estimation of its optimum thickness is also important factor for not only expense but also efficiency during mortar construction to the bottom layer of panel. This paper presents to calculate the optimum thickness of B2S panel according to various axle loads and rail support stiffness, and to evaluate the applicability. It also analyzes the effect from train loads to track by the 3D model, when the various rail support stiffness is applied for axle loads such as subway, light rail transit, railroad for convention line. As a result, it was evaluated that applicability of B2S slab track related to the conclusion for 2 types of railroads of other operating condition. And it should be used for the improvement of existing and construction railroads and tried to secure the basic data for structural safety and optimal track design.

      • B2S궤도 적용에 따른 철도교량의 동적안정성 검토

        This paper presents an analytic study for replacement of the ballast track in existing subway bridge by the Precast slab panel(B2S) track. To evaluate the dynamic responses on application of B2S track, the time history analysis with the 3D modeling. A total of two models, which were one ballast track bridge and B2S track bridge, were used in the FE analysis. The results of this study show that the dynamic displacement and acceleration of the B2S track bridge were significantly reduced for a higher train speed, compared to the ballast track bridge. Also, the replacement of the ballast track bridge in existing subway bridge by the B2S track increased the structural safety of bridge and ensured sufficient dynamic stability and serviceability. As a result, the servicing subway bridge with B2S track system has need of the reasonable measures which could be reducing the static and dynamic response and improving the performance.

      • 하절기 장대레일 온도제어를 위한 차열성 도료의 적용

        하절기 기온 및 레일온도 상승으로 장대레일 좌굴 위험성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 차열성 도료 적용사례를 조사하였고, 4종류의 차열성 도료를 실제 철도 레일 및 콘크리트 침목에 적용하여 레일 및 침목에서 발생하는 온도차를 분석하였다. 또한, 궤도/교량 상호작용해석을 통해 국부적인 레일온도 저감에 따른 효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 수성1액형에 비해 유성2액형 차열성 도료의 온도저감 효과가 우수하였으며, 반사율이 높은 흰색이 온도저감 효과가 높은 것으로 분석되었고, 국부적인 레일온도저감은 축력저감효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 장대레일에 차열성 도료를 적용할 경우, 장대레일 길이 연장, 레일신축이음매 최소화, 재설정작업 최소화가 가능할 것으로 판단되며, 기존선 작업의 효율성을 높이기 위한 급속시공장비 개발이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. Riskiness for buckling of CWR increase due to rise the average temperature in summer period. In this paper, it introduced to isolation-heat paint, which was applied in the field. It is performed that differences of temperature in rail and sleeper by using the four types of isolation-heat paint according to the field test. In addition, the track/bridge interaction analysis according to the local temperature reducing was analyzed. The temperature reducing effect of solvent-based 2 types was better than water-based 1 type. White has good temperature reducing effect by its high reflectance. According to the local temperature reducing of CWR, the axial force was decreased. Therefore, applying the isolation-heat paint to track in railway, it can extend the length of CWR and minimize rail expansion joint, minimize the reset operation of CWR. In the future, construction equipment rapidly applying isolation-heat paint to track need to be developed to improve the efficiency of railway construction and maintenance.
