소아 76명에서의 굴곡성 기관지 내시경술: 적응증, 이득 그리고 합병증

Purpose: This study was performed to investigate the indications, yield, and complications of flexible bronchoscopy for respiratory disease in children compared to earlier domestic studies and to examine if any differences existed in comparison to international studies. Methods: The medical records of 100 cases of flexible bronchoscopy that were performed in 76 patients at the Department of Pediatrics of The Catholic University of Korea, Seoul St. Mary``s Hospital from June 16, 2010 to August 6, 2013 were reviewed. Results: A total of 76 patients (50 males and 26 females) were included in the study. The most common indication of flexible bronchoscopy was persistent pneumonia or pneumonia in immunocompromised patients (53 cases). The object of flexible bronchoscopy was accomplished in 65 of 100 cases, and, the treatment was changed in 24 of 65 cases. The most common abnormal finding was tracheomalacia that was found in 18 cases. In 67 cases where bronchoalveolar lavage was performed, bacteria were identified in 47 cases, fungi in 9 cases, and viruses in 22 cases. Complications occurred in 8 cases. Conclusion: Compared to earlier domestic studies, there was no significant change in diagnostic approaches and therapeutic improvement. However, this study showed that flexible bronchoscopy appears to be safe in patients with hemato-oncologic disease. Compared to international studies, the occurrence of complications due to flexible bronchoscopy was relatively low. (Allergy Asthma Respir Dis 2016;4:181-187)

For technical and economic reasons, the drum drive system employed in the domestic washing machines have traditionally been based on a combination of a high speed induction motor and a pulley and belt. This paper deals with washing machine drive based on an inverter fed induction motor. In this cast voltage is applied in proportion to frequency to achieve rated motor through the range. But scalar control such as V/f methode is somewhat simple to implement, but the inherent coupling effect given sluggish response. Therefore, this paper describes study on induction motor vector control for drum type washing machine.

자크 라캉의 욕망이론과 새로운 미디어에 기반한 예술의 관계 연구

Developing new media art though combination with technology has transformed into a diverse and collaborative nature. Besides, As technology evolves, approaching more closely in our lives, digital media is able to represent the images of humanity itself. By the 21st century, new media art already seems to exist beyond our consciousness. This study assumes that new media art relates the desire theory of Jacques Lacan and then we investigate a relationship between the desire theory and new media art through this way : First, it is to consider the desire theory from medium perspective. Second, we examine the changes in the role of new media art and audience. Third, though this, we propose to analyze the appreciation methods of new media arts based on the desire theory of Lacan’s 3 steps (The imaginary, The symbolic, The real). For this purpose, we research on Lacan’s 3-steps and development of the new media art and then categorize them into two paragraphs:unfolding of new media art, Characteristics of new media art. Based on that, this paper infers about analyzing between new media art and audience(or user) applied of Jacques Lacan’s 3 steps. Through this, we do not define any fixed form, but propose to interpret in various ways. Also, a meaning of this attempt is to more extensive perspective of New media art in the rapidly changing world of technology.

콘택트렌즈는 시력 보정의 목적으로 개발되기 시작하여 최근에는 다양한 목적을 위해 이용되고 있다. 특히, 콘택트렌즈를 IT, NT, BT와 융합하여 질병 진단을 목적으로 이용하는데 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본지에서는 콘택트렌즈의 재료와 최근 주목받고 있는 진단용 콘택트렌즈와 소재에 대해 소개하고 앞으로 전망에 대해 논하였다.

글로벌 기업 로고디자인의 배색 활용 현황 및 의미 - 2015 밀워드브라운 글로벌 브랜드 가치 순위 100 기업 대상으로 -

기업의 정체성을 대변하는 시각도구 중 하나인 로고디자인의 컬러는 기업의 비전과 철학을 담고 있는 상징적 언어이다. 본 연구는 최근 글로벌 기업의 로고디자인 컬러가 단색에서 2가지 이상의 컬러를 사용하는 배색 활용의 추세가 높아지고 있는 사실에 주목하여 배색의 유형과 의미를 분석하고자 한다. 모든 색은 양극성을 지니고 있기 때문에 동일한 컬러에도 웜 컬러와 쿨 컬러가 존재하며 이에 따른 배색의 유형이 달라진다는 괴테의 양극 화이론은 로고디자인 배색에 따른 의미 분석을 목적으로 하는 본 연구의 중요한 분석틀로 사용되었다. 100대 글로벌기업의 로고디자인 배색을 분석한 결과 웜 컬러를 주조색으로 사용한 경우 83.5%가 유사를, 쿨 컬러가 주조색일 경우 92.3%가 대조를 사용했다. 또한 유사를 활용한 로고디자인의 경우 보조색은 주조색의 의미를 강조하거나 보다 풍부하게 확장시키는 효과를 생성하고 있었으며, 대조의 경우에는 서로 다른 두 개의 의미가 인과관계 혹은 상관관계 및 병렬구조 등으로 결합되어 주조색의 의미를 강조하는 제 3의 의미를 생성함을 알 수 있었다. 글로벌 기업의 로고디자인 배색은 사회, 문화적 관습에 의한 차이를 부드럽게 완화시킬 수 있을 뿐 아니라 본 연구를 통해 도출된 결과는 자신의 경험과 가치기반의 소비를 원하는 소비자 중심의 브랜드 커뮤니케이션 전략으로 유용하게 적용될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다. Companies strive various attempts to deliver corporate philosophies and values to consumers through their logo designs. Today, the tendency of the global companies` logo design has been breaking away from a single color expression to two or more colors arranged for doing the purpose. This research observes the arrangement of logo colors that effectively delivers a corporate identity. For research subjects, I have selected top 100 most valuable global brands 2015 nominated by Millward Brown, a multinational market research firm, while reviewing the corporates` color arrangement by implementing `Opponent Process theory`, first studied by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, as a methodology. The result shows that if warm tone is used as the main color for a logo, similar color scheme is arranged(83.5%). On the contrary, cool tone is used as the main color, contrast color scheme is arranged(92.3%). The characteristics of a brand logo utilizing similar color scheme have the advantage of emphasizing or enhancing the meaning of main color, whereas utilizing contrast color scheme in logo design affluently create new symbolic meaning by combining main and sub colors as a causal relationship or correlation. Thanks to the persistent development of digital utilize the technology, global brands can color scheme of logo design not only for conveying brands` vision but for moderating the tension coming from social and cultural differences. The result of this study also can be applied as a logical basis for brand communication strategy aiming the consumers who appreciate their own experiences and value creation.

칼 라거펠트 디렉팅의 샤넬과 펜디에 대한 디자인 특성 연구

The study focused on the design features of Chanel and Fendi, directed by Carl Lagerfeld, creative director of Chanel and Fendi until his recent death. The range of the study was from the 2017 S/S Collection to the 2019 F/W Collection, which collected a total of 767 fashion photographs, including 483 Chanel, 284 Fendi, with tops, bottoms and dresses at VOGUE (https://www.vogue.com). According to the data analysis criteria organized based on prior research and related literature, it was classified in the order of form, color, material, pattern, decoration, fashion image, item and coordination, and content analysis was conducted based on statistical analysis. Overall, the design characteristics of the Chanel collection, directed by Karl Lagerfeld, were rectangle form, tone in tone coloring, combination of identical materials, geometric patterns, and classical images as the main design characteristics of the Chanel collection. The design characteristics shown in the Fendi collection directed by Karl Lagerfeld were rectangle form, tone in tone coloration, hard material combination, abstract pattern, and total coordination. Comparing the design features of Chanel and Fendi, directed by Karl Lagerfeld, is as follows. Chanel and Fendi's designs show a lot of rectangle form, tone-in-tone colors, hard-materials and combination of the same material.

RPWM기법을 이용한 세탁기용 유도전동기 구동 시스템의 소음 및 진동 저감

본 연구에서는 유도전동기 구동 시스템에서 새로운 RPWM 방식을 제안하였다. 유도전동기 구동 시스템에서 발생하는 소음을 줄이기 위하여 공간벡터 RPWM방식에 기반을 둔 RPWM방식을 제안하였다. 제안된 RPWM방식을 드럼 세탁기에 적용하여 세탁기에서 발생하는 소음과 진동을 측정하였으며 그 결과를 비교하였다. 제안된 방식의 타당성을 입증하기 위하여 시뮬레이션과 실험을 수행하였다. The random pulse width modulation(RPWM) in inverter-fed induction motor drive is presented. This paper describes a RPWM method based on space vector PWM strategy for shaping the switching noise spectrum in such a way it can merge with the natural system noise. To verify the validity of the proposed RPWM scheme, the experiment based on the DSP56F803 microprocessor was executed finally, the simulation and experimental results will be given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the unposed RPWM scheme.

흰무늬엉겅퀴 열매 추출물의 자외선에 대한 피부 보호 효과

자외선은 피부 광노화를 일으키며 홍반, 일광 화상 등 피부 광손상의 원인이 된다. 실리마린은 밀크씨슬로도 알려져 있는 흰무늬엉겅퀴(Silybum marianum; S. m) 추출물에 존재하는 폴리페놀 화합물로 항산화 효과 및 자외선에 대한 피부 보호 효과가 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 피부의 표피층에서 실리마린을 함유하는 S. m 추출물의 광보호 효과를 이해하고자 하였다. 표피층을 구성하는 세포들이 자외선에 노출되면 DNA 손상이 발생하는데 S. m 추출물이 DNA repair를 촉진할 뿐만 아니라 UV filter로 작용하여 DNA 손상을 방지하는 것도 확인할 수 있었다. 특히, 홍반이 발생하지 않는 suberythemal dose (SED)의 자외선 노출에도 각질 산화와 DNA 손상이 일어날 수 있으며, S. m 추출물이 이런 미세 손상이 발생하는 것을 억제하는 것도 확인하였다. 또한 자외선에 의하여 각질이 산화되어 카르보닐화 단백질(protein carbonylation)이 증가하는 현상도 S. m 추출물을 도포한 경우는 억제됨을 확인하였다. S. m 추출물은 흡광의 성질이 있지만 광독성 유발 가능성은 낮은 것으로 평가되었다. 따라서 S. m 추출물은 광노화를 방지하고 피부를 보호하는데 활용 될 수 있을 것이다. Ultraviolet rays (UV) cause photoaging by inducing skin photodamages such as erythema and sunburn. Silymarin is a mixture of antioxidant polyphenols extracted from Silybum marianum fruit (S. m), which is known as milk thistle. It is known to protect skin tissues from UV treatment and antioxidant effects. In this study, we aimed to identify the photoprotective effects of S. m extract, which has silymarin in the epidermis layer of the skin. We found that the extract can function as a UV filter, so it can reduce DNA damage by UV treatment. Especially, we found that, in the stratum corneum, the extract can suppress the protein carbonylarion and DNA damages caused by suberythemal dose of UV treatment which does not induce erythema in the skin. UV treatment also increased protein carbonylation levels in the stratum corneum by oxidation, but it was prevented by applying the extract. The extract can absorb UV with minimal phototoxicity. Together, our study suggests that S. m extract can be used as a photo-protective ingredient to avoid photoaging of the skin.

Although cationic surfactants can cause eye irritation at high concentration, it has some merits in hair conditioning function and has been commonly used in hair conditioning product as a main component. For these reasons, the selection and use of milder cationic surfactant is important in safety of cosmetics. With the use of the hen`s egg test-chorioallantoic membrane (HET-CAM) assay, we examined the eye irritation potential for several cationic surfactant according to chemical structure properties. The eye irritation potential of cationic surfactant was increased according to increasing number of alkyl chain, alkyl chain length. And the cationic surfactant that neutralized to methosulfate causes lower irritation than cationic surfactant of chloride. From these results, we can determine the eye irritation potentials of cationic surfactant according to chemical structure.

폴리머-계면활성제 콤플렉스의 물성 조절을 통한 샴푸 사용감 최적화

본 연구에서는 샴푸에 널리 사용되는 양이온성 폴리머 중, 양이온성 구아 폴리머를 선택적으로 사용하여, 다양한 성능평가를 통해 0.7 % 질소함량 이상의 치환도와 190 ~ 200 cps사이의 점도를 가지는 새로운 양이온성 구아 폴리머를 개발하였다. 성능평가로는 헹굼 시 모발 부드러움(Wet combing ability), 폴리머의 잔존정도와 실리콘의 흡착정도를 측정하였으며 최종적으로 관능평가를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 양이온성 구아 폴리머를 배합하면 샴푸 사용감을 최적화할 수 있을 것이다. In this study, cationic guar polymer was selected from many cationic polymers currently using in shampoo and then was newly developed having 0.7 % above of nitrogen content and 190 ~ 200 cps of viscosity through various performance measurements. Wet combing ability, polymer substantivity, silicone deposition and panel test were evaluated for performance measurements. Cationic guar polymer that was invented from this study can optimize conditioning effects in shampoo.
