        방풍통성산의 비만에 대한 약리학적 고찰 - 일본의 연구를 중심으로 -

        Objectives : Excessive nutrition intake and lack of physical activity induce obesity through accumulation of fat in human body. The obesity have been categorized as a disease and known to cause several chronic diseases and cancers. In Japan, Bangpungtongsung-san has been applied as one of the therapies of the obesity and it's pharmacological uses have been studied for a long time. The purpose of this study is reviewing researches of Bangpungtongsung-san related to the obesity. Methods : By searching with the keyword of "Bangpungtongsung-san" or related words such as "Bofutsushosan" and 'TJ-62" from PubMed and off-line libraries, many reports were gathered and reviewed from the perspective of the obesity. Results and Conclusions : It has become evident by reviewing the reports that Bangpungtongsung-san is useful as a therapy of the obesity though some case reports showed side effects. Also, the mechanisms of Bangpungtongsung-san on obesity were reviewed and suggested.

        지리오가피 (Acanthopanax chiisanensis) 체세포배의 건조처리를 통한 식물체 증식

        지리오가피의 체세포배로부터 식물체재생을 위한 효율적인 방법을 개발하였다. 체세포배의 형태형성에 미치는 식물생장 조절물질의 영향을 조사하고자, 접합자 배 유래의 배발생 세포를 MS배지에 현탁배양하고, 이로부터 얻어진 자엽시기의 배를 배양접시에서 건조처리 (0∼72 h)한 후, NAA, BA, GA$_3$(0∼0.5mg/L)가 첨가된 MS배지에 배양하였다. 그 결과, 체세포배를 72시간 동안 배양접시에서 건조처리 후에 0.5mg/L NAA, 0.5mg/L BA 또는 0.5mg/L NAA, 0.5mg/L BA 0.5mg/L GA$_3$가 첨가된 MS배지에 6주간 배양하였을 때, multiple shoot가 100%로서 가장 높게 유도됨을 관찰 할 수 있었다. 가장 높은 식물체의 재생율 (29.1%)은 체세포배를 72시간 건조처리 후에,0.1mg/L NAA, 0.1mg/L BA그리고 0.1mg/L GA$_3$가 첨가된 MS배지에 6주간 이식한 후, 이를 다시 1.0mg/L GA$_3$가 첨가된 1/3MS배지에 6주간 배양하였을 때 이루어졌다. 유식물체를 vermiculite와 sand가 1:1로 첨가된 plastic pot 이식하였을 때 생존율은 약 70%로서 나타났다 이상의 결과는 지리오가피의 계량생산에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. An efficient method of plant regeneration from Acanthopanax chiisanensis somatic embryos was developed. Cotyledonary somatic embryos were obtained in liquid Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium from embryogenic cell suspension cultures. They were desiccated for 0 to 72 hr and then cultured on MS medium containing NAA, BA, GA$_3$, (0-0.5mg/L). The highest multiple shoots formation (100%) was obtained from 72 hr desiccated somatic embryos on ifs medium with 0.5mg/L NAA+0.5mg/L BA or 0.5 mg/L NAA+0.5mg/L BA+0.5mg/L GA$_3$ after 6 weeks culture. Plant conversion from multiple shoots was not high. The highest plant conversion from multiple shoots was obtained on 1/3MS medium with 1.0mg/L GA$_3$. Converted plantlets were transferred to ex vitro condition and the highest survival rate (70%) of the plantlets was obtained on plastic pots containing vermiculite and sand. These results indicate that micropropagation procedure can be applied for an efficient mass propagation of Acanthopanax chiisanensis.

      • 상추첨가 고지방식이가 흰쥐의 혈청 중 효소활성 변화에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed to investigate effects of functional food stuff(Lactuca sativa)-added high fat diets on lipid compounds in the serum of rats. Five-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rats (n=10/group) were fed control diet with high fat(HF), combined with 2.0% powder of lettuce leaf (HF+2.0% RLP), 2.0% powder of lettuce stem (HF+2.0% RSP), 2.0% fermented powder of lettuce stem (HF+2.0% FSP), or 4.0% fermented powder of lettuce stem (HF+4.0% FSP), respectively, for 10 weeks. Then the change of body and viscera weights, ASTase, ALTase, ALPase, ACPase, LDHase, amylase, and ChEase with enzyme activities in serum were analyzed. The results are as follow ; The food efficiency ratio(FER) was at the order of HF+4% FSP < HF+2% RLP < HF+2% FSP < control (HF) < HF+2% RSP. ASTase (GOT) and ALTase(GPT) activities in serum were significantly enhanced in lettuce power treatment groups compared with control(HF) group (p<0.05). The ALPase in serum was significantly increased in HF+4% FSP group compared with other experiment groups (p<0.05). The LDHase activities in serum were shown in order of HF+4% FSP < control (HF) < HF+2% RSP < HF+2% RLP < HF+2%FSP, respectively. The serum glucose content was decreased significantly in the lettuce(leaves, stem, and stem fermentation) parts powder added-diets groups than 162.4±11.93 mg/dl of control group(HF) (p<0.05). These results showed that intake of lettuce can significanly reduce harmful factors, as well as enhance beneficial factor in lipid profile. It was suggestible that intake of 2% fermented stem powder of the lettuce is appropriate level for function rise.

      • 小豆의 植物體再分化에 關한 硏究

        小豆 幼苗의 莖頂培養에서 植物生長調節劑가 callus形成과 器官分化에 미치는 影響을 調査하고자 auxin (NAA)과 cytokinin 類 (BAP, zeatin)등을 Murashige와 Skoog의 基本培地에 添加하여 實驗을 遂行하였던 바, 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 小豆의 莖頂培養에서 callus誘起가 가장 좋은 培地는 NAA 0.2㎎/ℓ와 BAP 1㎎/ℓ를 混用한 것이었으며, 植物體再分化가 가장 잘되는 培地는 NAA 0.5㎎/ℓ와 BAP 0.5㎎/ℓ를 添加한 것이었다. 胚狀體形成은 zeatin을 添加한 培地에서만 볼 수 있었고, NAA 1㎎/ℓ와 zeatin 0.1∼0.5㎎/ℓ를 添加한 培地에서 가장 잘 形成되었지만 zeatin의 添加區에서 얻어진 胚狀體는 植物體形成이 늦은 傾向이었다. The studies were carried out to examine the effects of NAA, BAP, and zeatin supplemented to Murashige and Skoog's medium on the callus formation, organogenesis and embryogenesis in the shoot apex culture of adzuki bean (Vigna angularis W. F. WIGHT). The best medium for callus formation was the modified Murashige and Skoog's medium containing 0.2㎎/ℓNAA and 1㎎/ℓBAP, and the best medium for plantlet regeneration was the modified Murashige and Skoog's medium containing 0.5㎎/ℓNAA and 0.5㎎/ℓBAP. The effect of zeatin on the embryoid formation from the adzuki bean calli was recognized. These embryoids were formed on the modified Murashige and Skoog's medium containing 1㎎/ℓNAA and 0.1-0.5㎎/ℓzeatin, but the plant formation from embryoids was late.
