This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of shading on Inorphology of vegetative parts of rice(Oryza sativa L.) Sixteen rice cultivars used consisted of six early-, four medium-, four medium and late-, and two late-maturity cultivars. Shading treatment employed was given at meiosis(from 12 days before heading to heading stage), heading(from heading date to 12 days after heading), and milky stage(from 12 to 24 days after heading). About 30% of natural sunlight was given to the rice cultivars under shading treatment. When shading was given at meiosis, flag leaf was longer as compared with the control. Reduction in culm, upper internodes and panicle length was obtained from shading applied at meiosis. The reduction decreased as the transplanting time was delayed. Shading treatment resulted in increase in area of upper leaves on main stem. Increase in leaf area due to shading was greater in Indica X Japonica cultivars than in Japonica cultivars, Reduction in specific leaf weight and leaf thickness of flag leaf on main stem was caused by shading treatment. The reduction was slightly greater in Indica X Japonica cultivars than Japonica cultivars and decreased as the transplanting time was delayed. Number and size of stomata of flag leaf on main stem was greater in abaxial side than in adaxial side of leaf. The number and size of stomata decreased with shading treatment. Chlorophyll content increased by shading. However, the reversed effect was obtained in total sugar content.

Energy saving in household refrigerators becomes more important as the usage of household refrigerators have been increasing every year. Since a compressor in the refrigerator consumes more than 80% of its total energy, it is necessary to reduce the energy consumption of the compressor. In this paper, the convective heat transfer coefficients on the compressor housing for both natural convection and forced convection were measured. Then, the effect of convective heat transfer coefficient on the power consumption of a refrigeratorwas investigated using a thermal management analysis. The results showed that convective heat transfer coefficient for forced convection is higher by 7.8 W/m2K compared to the natural convection. In addition, through the thermal management analysis, it was found that the increase in convective heat transfer coefficient reduces the refrigerator power by about 4.8% improving EER by 0.9%.

CaF2 단결정을 흑연도가니를 사용하여 He 분위기 하에서 탄만법으로 성장시켰다. 수화방지를 위해 PbF2를 출발물질에 도포하였다. 열구배에 따른 계면의 움직임인 성장속도는 배플판에 의해 성공적으로 조절되었다. 결정성장의 최적조건은 온도구배가 37℃/cm, 냉각속도가 10℃/hr 및 2.5tw% PbF2를 사용한 경우로, 성장속도는 약 3.2 mm/hr이었으며, 위로 볼록한 고액계면을 갖는 단결정이 성장되었다. IR분석 결과, 1500∼4000 cm-1(6.7∼2.5 ㎛)영역에서 약 96%의 투과도를 보였다. 결함밀도를 측정하기 위해, 성장축에 수직 및 수평으로 절단한 면을 농축 H2SO4에서 약 30분간 에칭하여 간섭현미경으로 관찰한 결과, 각각 3.4×104/cm2였다. 이러한 결과는 수화에 따른 성장된 단결정의 투명도의 경향과 일치하였다. 결정에 대한 XRD분석 결과 우선성장 방향은 <311>이었다.

할로겐 램프를 열원으로 하는 image furnace를 사용하여 소위 traveling solvent floating zone법에 의해 Mg TiO3(가이킬라이트) 고용체 단결정을 육성했다. 육성된 결정은 직경 8mm, 길이 100mm이였으며 성장측은(1010)이었다. MgTiO, 상은 고온에서 일정한 공용영역을 나타내고 있으며 완만한 속도로 냉각시키면 TiO, 성분이 결정학적 방위의 콘트롤을 받아 (0001)면에 평행하게 용출됨으로써 광채효과를 나타낸다. 육성된 boul은 검은색을 띠고 있으나 1100℃ 산소분위기에서 annealing시킬 경우 반투명한 단양한 색깔을 보여 준다. 따라서 가이킬라이트는 새로운 종류의 인공캣츠아이로 활용될 수 있다. Single crystals of the peritectic compound MgTiO3 up to 8 m diameter and 100mm long along the [1010] axis. were yon by the travelling solvent floating zone technique using a halogen lamp image furnace. The grown single crystal. which shows a solid solution range at high temperature, exsolves TiO2 component if it is annealed very slowly to room termperature. Grown boules were black but become translucent with pinkish brown color after tempering at 1100 t for 8-10 hours in oxygen atmosphere and showed distint chatoyancy along the (0001) plane. The grown crystal can be used as a new modified cat's eye gemstone. The optimum conditions were as follows ;Sintering temperature of the charge rod, 1300℃ the growth rate, 2-2.5mmh and the composition of the charge rod in molar ratio. MgO : TiO2 : 1:1.05.

This study is development of air current sensing type sprinkler head in underground space and a connection performance experiment. This study achieve conclusions which is possible that air current sensing type sprinkler head is adequate head technology for underground space exclusive.
