Five compounds were isolated from the whole plant of Arabis glabra (Cruciferae) through repeated silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. Their chemical structure were elucidated as salicylic acid, 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid, astragalin, rutin, and quercetin-3,7-O-β-D-diglucopyranoside by spectroscopic analysis.

The chromatographic separation of the methanolic extract from the twigs of Ilex macropoda(Aquifoliaceae) led to the isolation of three hemiterpenes, and their chemical structures were elucidated byphysico-chemical and spectroscopic analysis. Their structures were characterized as 4,5-dihydroxyprenyl caffeate(1), 4-(6-O-caffeoyl-β-D-glucucopyranosyloxy)-5-hydroxyprenyl caffeate (2), and 4-β-D-glucucopyranosyloxy-5-hydroxyprenyl cafeate (3), respectively. Compound 1 was isolated for the first time from plant.
Cytotoxic Germacranolide Sesquiterpenes from the Bark of Magnolia kobus

A new (3) and three known germacrane-type sesquiterpenoids were isolated from the chloroform-soluble fraction of the methanolic extract of the bark of Magnolia kobus (Magnoliaceae) through repeated silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. Their chemical structures were elucidated as costunolide (1), parthenolide (2), isobisparthenolidine (3), and bisparthenolidine (4) by spectroscopic analysis. Compounds 1-4 exhibited cytotoxicity against human A549, SK-OV-3, SK-MEL-2, and HCT15 tumor cells.

변혁적리더십과 서번트리더십이 직무만족, 조직몰입, 서비스품질 및 고객만족에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 변혁적 리더십, 서번트 리더십의 선행연구를 토대로 직무만족, 조직몰입, 서비스품질 및 고객만족과의상관관계를 파악해 보고자 하였다. 서울지역의 특1급호텔과 강원랜드(카지노호텔)의 식음료부서 종사원을 대상으로 자기기입식에 의한 설문조사를 수행하여, 총 522부의 유효한 설문지를 확보한 후 SPSS for Window 18. 0과AMOS 18. 0으로 실증분석을 수행하였다. 구조모형분석결과 변혁적 리더십은 직무만족에 영향을 미치며, 서비스품질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 변혁적 리더십은 조직몰입에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 서번트 리더십은 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 조직몰입 및 서비스품질과는 무관한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 서번트 리더십에 대한현업에서의 현상을 내포하고 있어 향후 서번트 리더십에 대한 보다 심도있는 교육 및 연구가 필요할 것으로 파악된다. 그러나 Heskett(1994)의 연구 및 Kim(2014)의 연구를 토대로 살펴보고자 하였던 내부고객만족의 흐름은 외부고객의 만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 직무만족은 조직몰입에, 조직몰입은 서비스품질에, 서비스품질은 고객만족으로 각각 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 간접효과의 유의성을 판단한 결과 가설6(서번트 리더십-->서비스품질)만을 제외하고 모두 유의적인 영향관계가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 변혁적 리더십은 직무만족을 통해 조직몰입에 유의적이며, 서번트 리더십 역시 직무만족을 통해 조직몰입에 유의적임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 현업에서는 변혁적 리더십뿐만 아니라 서번트 리더십에 대한 교육을 통해 향후 종사원만족을 통한 서비스품질의 제고 및 고객만족을 유도해 나가야 할 것으로 판단된다. 한편 카지노호텔과 일반호텔의 차이를 살펴본 결과 대부분의 영향관계는 차이를 보이지 않았으나 조직몰입--->서비스품질의 차원에서는 매우 유의적인 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 서울지역호텔과 카지노호텔의 차이를 명백하게 보여주는 부분으로 판단된다. 끝으로 본 연구의 한계점 및 향후 연구방향에 대하여 논하였다. The purpose of this study was to empirically determine the relationship between the hotel managers` leadership and internal and external customer satisfaction. 522 data were collected from the food and beverage department employees of one casino hotel in Kangwon province and six deluxe hotels in Seoul. Results showed that transformational leadership had a significant effect on employee satisfaction, and service quality, yet did not influence organizational commitment. Servant leadership had also a significant effect onemployee satisfaction, yet had no significant effect on organizational commitment and service quality. These organizational status might be influenced by an organizational behavior which had a normative characteristics. Especially, the servant leadership might not be applied to Korean hotel employees. Therefore, the servant leadership training should be reinforced to employees and managers in Korean hotel industry. We also found that employee satisfaction had a significant effect on organizational commitment; organizational commitment had a significant effect on service quality; service quality had a significant effect on customer satisfaction (Heskett et al. , 1994; Kim, 2014). However, as a result of identification of indirect effect, transformational leadership had a significant effect on organizational commitment, and servant leadership also had a significant effect on organizational commitment. Therefore, we have to consider the indirect effect of employee satisfaction. The last hypothesis(comparison between casino hotel and general hotel) was partially supported by the impact difference of the relationship between organizational commitment and service quality. Finally, the study`s contributions and implications for theory and practice, limitations, and suggestions for future research were discussed.
겨울철 SET<SUP>*</SUP>의 실외 환경 적용 가능성 검토

The thermal indices which show the relation between human thermal sensation and surrounding outdoor climatic conditions is not made so clear as in the indoor one. In the paper, the applicability of SET<SUP>*</SUP> to the outdoor climatic environment in the winter was examined by the experiment of thermal sensation from physiogical and psychological view point. The result are as follows. SET*<SUP></SUP> upper 19℃ and MST upper 31.4℃ are considered to be the comfort zone in the outdoor environment. The thermal sensation was more influenced by air velocity than by solar radiation.
