라선형(螺旋形) 모티브를 응용(應用)한 복식(服飾) 디자인 연구(硏究)

The spiral form, which comes from the organic form of natural phenomenon such as growth of creatures, has been used as a factor of formative shape in various fields of art until now. In conjunction herewith, this study intends to discover and express the life force and the formative beauty of natural substances with the organic spiral forms into clothing design, using various creating methods and materials such as Korean traditional paper. The natural substances with the spiral structure, such as seashells, land snails, passion flower, curled flower, growing chart of plants, Impatiens textori was used as subjects of the designs. The seven pieces of work were completed with attempts to develop aesthetic forms through the presentation techniques and methods via restructuring process of simplification, partial transformation and consolidation. Through such process the conclusion of this study is as follows: First, the nature, with unlimited possibilities, could be subject of human formative activities, leading to the creative world of formative art for designers. Second, adaptation of the spiral organic forms of nature into the contemporary clothing designs proved the motif as a source of inspiration of diverse subject, in recognition with its innate formative beauty as well as external shape. Third, design expressions via restructuring process of simplification, partial transformation and consolidation with designer`s subjective point of view were adequate for the creations of contemporary fashion designs. Fourth, the Korean traditional paper, as a fine material for various shape according to the ha ndling method, could be used appropriately in the contemporary clothing designs, expressing our aesthetic senses. Fifth and finally, expansion of the realm of formative expression of clothing through the development of possibilities of expression in contemporary clothing would enhance the creative possibilities of clothing design as formative art. In conclusion, the expression of clothing design as formative art was developed on the emphasis of re-creation of natural objects of the organic spiral form. For the future study, the applications of spiral form into everyday clothing designs, consolidating artistic senses and practical senses, are expected as opportunity of proposing developmental possibilities of the contemporary clothing designs.
ON/OFF 스위치 및 센서 기반의 실내 위치 추적 시스템

본 논문은 실내에서 홈 거주자의 위치를 인식하기 위해 근접성을 이용한 위치 추적 시스템 환경을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 기존 실내의 고정된 위치에 있는 구조/시설물 및 가전제품의 ON/OFF 스위치를 이용하며 기타 추가적인 스위치 및 센서를 부착하여 개폐동작이 일어날 때 발생되는 신호를 검출하여 실제위치를 얻는다. 발생되는 신호는 Pull-up 저항을 이용한 신호 검출 방법으로 눌려진 스위치나 센서에서 발생된 아날로그 신호를 검출한다. 검출된 신호의 고유한 ID값은 Sensor TMO로 송신되어 수집된다. 수집된 센서ID는 소켓통신을 이용하여 홈서버인 실내위치추적시스템으로 보내질 뿐아니라 원격 모니터링 GUI를 통해 실내 거주자의 위치를 GUI의 가상공간 좌표와 매핑된 홈 거주자의 위치를 보인다. 본 논문에서 제안한 실내위치추적시스템은 홈 거주자의 위치를 주기적으로 모니터링하고 거주자의 이동 패턴과 활동 상황을 파악하여 헬스케어 정보로 활용할 예정이다.

본 논문에서는 자유 선택 신호 전이 그래프와 비동기 유한 상태기로 기술된 회로 명세로부터 직접 속도 독립 회로를 합성하는 시스템에 대해 기술한다. 기존의 상태 그래프 기반의 합성 시스템은 상태의 수가 지수승으로 증가할 수 있기 때문에 큰 규모의 회로에 대해서는 합성에 실패할 수 있다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 여러 직접 합성 방법들이 제안되었는데, 본 논문의 합성 시스템은 마크드 그래프 분할 방법과 임시 전이의 사용을 허용함으로써 합성할 수 있는 회로의 범위를 넓혔다. 기존의 벤치마크 회로에 대한 실험결과 본 합성 시스템은 기존의 상태 그래프 기반의 합성 시스템에 비하여 현저하게 수행 속도를 단축시킬 수 있었고 기존의 직접 합성 시스템에 비하여 보다 확장된 그리고 보다 실용적인 회로 명세를 처리할 수 있었다. This paper presents a new synthesis system which synthesizes speed-independent circuits directly from a free-choice Signal Transition Graph(STG) and an Asynchronous Finite State Machine(AFSM). Synthesis systems based on a State Graph(SG) may fail to synthesize circuits with a large state space because the number of states can be increased exponentially. Some direct synthesis methods have been developed to overcome this problem. Our system extends the class of specifications by using Marked Graph(MG) decomposition method and by allowing dummy transitions. Experimental result shows that our synthesis system can decrease the synthesis time dramatically with respect to SG based synthesis systems. Also, it shows that our synthesis system can synthesize more practical specifications than previous direct synthesis systems.

In this paper, a recursive data structure is defined which permits a data itam of unlimited to be represented in a computer memory. The encoded data are a linear string of symbols which contains a specification of the length of the data item and the data item itself. In a single forward scan of the encoded data string, the length of the data item can be determined and the data item located and extracted. The length of the data item is not limited by addressing, pointer, wordsize, or numerical format considerations. It is limited only by the amount of memory space physically available. Numbers of unlimited magnitude and precision (e.g, addresses in an unbounded address spacc) can be represented using this method.

A high speed hardware sorter with reverse radix exchange method was designed, of which the algorithm is simple and straightforward. It can be implemented with two memories, counter registers, logic gates and control unit. Sorting time is relative to the number of bits of data item to be sorted. Software simulation shows that the sorting time of this system is one tenth below the normally used software sorting algortithm.(FoxBase, etc.)

The potential of neural networks for the recognition of the printed multi- font characters is examined. The multilayer perceptron(MLP) is used for the neural network model. The error back-propagation(EBP) is considered for learning algorithm. The output layer represents two- byte combination code for Hangul and ASCII code for a alphanumeric characters, respectively. This method gives good recognition rate for the standard positioned characters.

For the effective design of Relational Database Mangement System(RDBMS), it is generally required that a table should be formalized according to Normal Form Theory. The table used in RDMS should be 3NF at least. In this paper, an algorithm to extract 3NF from the given functional dependency is proposed. Analyzing the normal forms, the formal structures for 3NF are derived and implemented with C-language. The 3NF can be obtained automatically though the implemented algorithm. The proposed method in this paper will be widely used for the logical design of RDBMS.
