목단피의 NF-κB와 MAPKs 억제를 통한 Pro-inflammatory Cytokines 활성에 미치는 효과

Objective : Moutan Cortex (the root bark of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr.) is widely used in oriental medicine as a remedy for inflammation. However, as yet there is no clear explanation of how MC(Moutan Cortex) affects the production of inflammatory cytokine. This study was to determine the effects of Essence extracted MC on the mast cell-mediated inflammatory responses. Method : We observed the effect of MC on compound 48/80-induced histamine release of rat peritoneal mast cells and the effect of administering MC on PCA in rat. We measured the amount of inflammatory cytokine production induced by the phorbol myristate acetate (PMA) plus calcium ionophore(A23187) in the human mast cell line (HMC-1) incubated with various concentrations of MC. The TNF-$\alpha$ protein levels were analysised by Western blot. The TNF-$\alpha$, IL-6 and IL-8 secreted protein levels were measured by the ELISA assay. The TNF-$\alpha$, IL-6 and IL-8 mRNA levels were measured by the RT-PCR analysis. NF-$\kappa$B, phospho-I$\kappa$B and MAPKs were exmined by Western blot analysis. The NF-$\kappa$B promoter activity was examined by luciferase assay. Result : 1. Enzyme immunoassay indicated that MC suppressed histamine secretion of rat peritoneal mast cells. 2. In PCA dependent on IgE, MC had anti-allergic effect of the internal surface of rat skin. 3. Western blot indicated that MC decreased TNF-$\alpha$ protein levels. 4. ELISA indicated that MC decreased TNF-$\alpha$, IL-6 but MC had no significant effect on IL-8 in HMC-1 cells. 5. RT-PCR indicated that MC decreased TNF-$\alpha$, IL-8 but MC had no significant effect on IL-6 in HMC-l cells. 6. Western blot indicated that MC suppressed the induction of MAPKs, NF-$\kappa$B & phospho-I$\kappa$B activity in HMC-1 cells. 7. Luciferase assay indicated that MC suppressed the PMA plus A23187-induced NF-$\kappa$B promoting activityin HMC-1 cells. Conclusion : In this study, we have found that MC is an inhibitor of NF-$\kappa$B, MAPKs & cytokines on the mast cell-mediated inflammatory responses.

小靑龍湯이 알레르기 鼻炎에 미치는 效果에 대한 實驗的 硏究

Allergic rhinitis is an inflammation of the nasal mucosa which is triggered by an allergic reaction. When exposed to certain allergens, the IgE covered mast cells degranulate releasing inflammatory mediators and cytokines which results in a local inflammatory reaction. In many recent studies, molecular biological methods have been used to investigate the role of cytokines in pathogenesis and new therapeutic targets of allergic rhinitis. This experimental study was done to research effects of Sochungryong-tang. We have studied effect of mice on OVA-induced production of IL-4, IL-5, IFN-${\gamma}$ by murine splenocytes and effect of OVA-induced total IgE and OVA-specific IgE. The results were as follows; 1. In IL-4 study, Sochungryong-tang treated group was proved significant inhibitory effect(p〈0.005). 2. In IL-5 study, Sochungryong-tang treated group was proved significant inhibitory effect(p〈0.05). 3. In JFN-${\gamma}$ study, Sochungryong-tang treated group was proved significant inhibitory effect(p〈0.000001). 4. In Total IgE, Sochungryong-tang treated group was proved significant inhibitory effect(p〈0.000001). 5. In OVA-specific IgE, Sochungryong-tang treated group didn't showed significant inhibitory effect. Depending upon above results, it is considered that Sochungryong-tang has the inhibitory effect on the allergic rhinitis of mice and suggested that it could be used in relieving patients of the symptoms which are caused by allergic rhinitis.

모나자이트 샌드의 염산침출용액으로부터 용매추출에 의한 Nd와 Pr의 분리

Solvent extraction experiments have been performed to separate Nd and Pr from chloride leaching solution of monazite sand using PC88A and D2EHPA. For this purpose, the effect of the saponification of PC88A and D2EHPA on the extraction and separation of the two metals were studied by varying the pH of aqueous solution. In the experimental ranges conducted in this study, the distribution coefficients of Nd were higher than those of Pr and separation factor value increased with the increase of solution pH. Saponification of PC88A enhanced the distribution coefficients of Nd and Pr as well as the separation factor. Saponification of D2EHPA had some effect on the extraction of the two metals but little effect on the separation factor. Nd와 Pr이 함유된 모나자이트 샌드의 염산 침출용액에서 PC88A와 D2EHPA를 사용하여 두 금속을 분리하기 위한 용매추출실험을 수행하였다. 이러한 목적을 위해 수상의 pH에 따른 PC88A와 D2EHPA의 비누화가 두 금속의 추출 및 분리에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 본 연구에서 수행한 실험조건에서 Nd의 분배계수가 Pr의 분배계수보다 크며, 수상의 pH가 높을수록 분리인자가 증가하였다. PC88A에 비해 비누화시킨 PC88A로 추출하는 경우 분배계수와 분리인자 모두 증가하였다. D2EHPA의 비누화율은 두 금속의 추출에는 영향을 미치지만, 분리인자에는 큰 변화가 없었다.

임펄스 UWB 시스템을 위한 RF 송수신기 설계

In this paper, we design RF transceiver architecture and building blocks for impulse radio UWB system. Impulse radio UWB signal occupies the wide frequency band which is very low transmission power. So, it can minimize the interference effect with the other system. Using UWB technology, we obtain position awareness service. Therefore, we describe the RF transceiver architecture of direct conversion receiver and define the requirement of RF transceiver. Moreover, we implement a prototype RF transceiver based on the presented standard and verify a function and performance through the wireless data communication and ranging test.

염산용액(鹽酸溶液)에서 PC88A와 D2EHPA에 의한 Nd와 Pr의 분리추출(分離抽出)

Nd와 Pr이 함유된 염산용액에서 PC88A와 D2EHPA에 의한 두 금속의 분리에 적합한 조건을 조사하기 위해 용매추출실험을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 실험조건에서 Nd의 분배계수가 Pr의 분배계수보다 컸다. PC88A와 D2EHPA로 추출하는 경우 금속과 추출제와의 농도비의 증가가 두 금속의 추출 및 분리에 큰 영향을 미쳤다. D2EHPA의 비누화율과 초기 pH는 두 금속의 추출에는 큰 영향을 미치지만, 분리인자에는 큰 변화가 없었다. Solvent extraction experiments have been performed to investigate an optimum condition to separate Nd and Pr from chloride solutions using PC88A and D2EHPA. In our experimental ranges, the distribution coefficients of Nd were higher than those of Pr. In both of PC88A and D2EHPA extractant system, our results indicated that the increase in concentration ratio of extractant to metal had a great effect on the extraction and separation of the two metals. In extraction with saponified D2EHPA, the initial pH of the aqueous solution and saponification degree had some effect on the extraction of the two metals but little effect on the separation factor.

국제유가 흐름에 대한 시계열분석접근

주요 현물유가(WTI, Brent, Oman, Dubai)와 선물유가간의 동태적 관계를 시계열 분석 방법을 이용하여 살펴보았다. 현물유가 및 선물유가들은 1차 적분된 시계열(I(1))로 보여진다. 현물유가들사이 및 현물유가와 선물유가사이에도 공적분관계(cointegration relation)가 있는 것으로 보여진다. 한편, 선물유가는 현물 유가를 인과(Granger-cause)하지만, 현물유가는 선물유가를 인과하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 공적분관계 및 인과관계의 결과는 합리적 기대가설(rational expectations hypothesis)에 의한 효율적 석유시장(efficient oil markets)과 일치하는 것으로 보여진다. 수정오차모형(error correction model)에 의해 3/4분기 및 4/4분기의 유가들을 예측해 보았다.

원유선물시장(原油先物市場)과 현물시장(現物市場)의 동태적통합(動態的統合) 및 효율성(效率性)

83년 7월부터 NYMEX 선물시장에서 거래되기 시작한 원유선물은 90년대 들어 주식 채권 외환 등의 금융시장과 관련하여 크게 성장하고 있으며, 원유선물가격이 현물시장에서의 가격형성에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서, 원유선물가격이 미래의 현물가격에 대한 최적의 예측치라고 하는 합리적기대모형(合理的期待模型)에 의거하여 원유선물 가격과 현물가격의 변화추이 및 그들 사이의 장(長) 단기(短期) 균형관계(均衡關係)(동태적통합(動態的統合))와 효율성(效率性)등을 일별(日別) NYMEX 선물유가(근월도래선물(近月到來先物)의 종가(終價))와 WTI 현물유가의 자료를 이용하여 계량분석하였다. 원유선물가격과 현물가격은 단위근(單位根)을 갖는 불안정(不安定)한 시계열이지만, 선물유가와 현물유가사이에는 공적분관계(共積分關係)(공통확률적추세(共通確率的趨勢))가 있어 장기적(長期的) 균형관계(均衡關係)가 존재하며, 또한 공시계열상관관계(共時系列相關關係)(공통안정적순환(共通安定的循環))가 있어 단기적(短期的) 균형관계(均衡關係)도 존재하는 것으로 보여진다. 그리고 선물유가는 미래의 현물유가에 대한 예측력이 있는 것으로 보여진다. 따라서, 원유선물가격이 미래의 현물가격에 대한 최적의 예측치라고 히는 합리적기대모형(合理的期待模型)과 일치하는 것으로 나타났다. 원유선물가격이 현물가격과 장(長) 단기적(短期的)으로 동태적(動態的)인 균형관계를 보이고 있으므로 정부의 합리적인 수입선다변화정책과 유가자유화에 따른 석유업계의 효율적인 운영방안의 하나로 원유선물시장의 활용이 더욱 더 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

염산용액에서 유기인산계 추출제에 의한 Nd와 Pr의 분리추출

Nd와 Pr이 함유된 모나자이트 샌드의 염산침출용액에서 Cyanex272 및 PC88A를 기반으로 한 TBP 및 Cyanex272와의 혼합용매를 사용하여 두 금속을 분리하기 위한 용매추출실험을 시행하였다. 이러한 목적을 위해 수상의 pH에 따른 추출제의 농도가 두 금속의 추출 및 분리에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 본 연구의 실험범위에서 Nd의 분배계수가 Pr의 분배계수보다 컸다. Cyanex272로 추출하는 경우 추출제의 농도와 초기 pH는 분배계수에 영향을 미치지 않으나, 초기 pH가 증가할수록 분리인자는 증가하였다. 혼합용매의 경우 PC88A를 단독으로 사용했을 때보다 분배계수가 낮고 분리인자에 차이가 없었다. For this purpose, the effect of the concentration of extractants on the extraction and separation of the two metals were studied by varying the pH of aqueous solution. In the experimental ranges conducted in this study, the distribution coefficients of Nd were higher than those of Pr. In Cyanex272 system, our results indicated that concentration of extractant and initial pH did not affect distribution coefficients, but separation factor was increased with increasing initial pH. In binary extractant system, distribution coefficients were lower than those of single PC88A system, whereas separation factor was similar in both mixed and single extractant system.
