        대학교 무용학과 교과과정 내 다문화 무용 교과목 개발에 관한 연구

        Korea is undergoing a rapid transformation into a multiethnic society because of the influx of migrants. While many efforts have been made to integrate multiculturalism into education, multicultural dance education programs at undergraduate institutions are, if there is any, underdeveloped. This study proposes a multicultural dance education program to be considered for implementation as a required course for dance education students at undergraduate institutions in the near future. The purpose of the study is to develop a university dance education course that reflects the increasing diversity of the Korean population and should be a required course for education students. The intention in designing this curriculum is to help future dance teachers to be culturally and ethnically responsive to the student population in their classes.

      • 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 신경망 설계

        The study introduces a neural network to predict the bankruptey of insurance companies. As a method to optimize the network, a genetic algorithm suggests optimal structure and network parameters. The neural network designed by genetic algorithm is compared with discriminant analysis, logistic regression, ID3, and CART. The robust neural network model shows the best performance among those models compared.

      • 간호 관리 능력 개발을 위한 교육 연구

        The objectives of this study are to identify the actual educational contents of management for head nurse and to propose the educational subjects according to identity the needs of head, charge, and staff nurses. The subjects were investigated the actual Management Development Programs and educational needs of head nurses and prospective nurse manager(charge nurse, staff nurse with a lot of clinical experiences) in general hospitals. The tools were composed of two questionnaires: One was developed from the literature review for making items to measure actual situation. The other was revised Katz's model for measurement of educational needs. The first respondents of actual situation were 27 general hospitals with over 400 beds in Seoul and the second respondents were 89 head nurses, 67 charge nurses and 136 nurses at 3 hospitals by convenient sampling out of 27 general hospitals. Data were collected by telephone interview, mail questionnaire and visiting from 7th of October through 30th of November in 1997. In data analysis, general characteristics of the respondents and actual status of Management Development Programs were analyzed by frequency and percentage. Educational needs according to general characteristics were analyzed by ANOVA The results were as follows: 1. Actual situation of Management Development Program 1) Seven hospitals(26%) had Management Development Program for prospective managers and 14 hospitals (52%) for head nurses. 2) Education Department existed in 14 hospitals (52%). 3) One hospital(4%) had top level managers took part in the Management Development. 4) Two hospitals selected head nurse, who had finished courses of Management Development. Eight hospitals(30%) assessed educational needs. The assessment tools consisted of making a question via questionnaire(75%), determining at department meeting(12%) and interview(13%). 5) Educational programs had 3 types: 10 lecture type, 7 discussion type and 4 role play type programs. 6) One hospital evaluated the change of learner's attitude. 7) Four hospitals scored educational point, but that was measured only by attending. 8) Actual Management Development Programs were as follows. parenthesis indicates the number of hospitals. (1) Management Development Programs for Prospective manager. Role perception of Middle level Manager (1) . Role reconstruction of Nurse Manager (1). Workshop for Charge Nurse (1). The results of needs on Management Development subject 1) The educational needs of all respondents on 3 skill domains showed positive agreement to strongly positive agreement. 2) High priority(more than 4.5) items were 12 of 24 Human skill items(50%), 1 of 6 Technical skill items(16%), and 2 of 13 Conceptual skill items (15%). 3) Out of high priority items, 8 items were instituted. 4) All respondents showed high needs on 3 skill domains regardless of 3 positions (head nurse, charge nurse, and nurse). Educational needs of Human skill domain, according to position were 108. S, 108.7, 106.8 (mean score = 72) , needs of Technical skill domain were 26.5, 26.6, 26.I(mean score=18), and needs of Conceptual skill domains were 56.9,56.7, 55.1(mean score=39). 5) Needs of 3 skill domains according to clinical career showed significant difference. Out of respondents, nurses with career of over 16years showed lowest degree of needs in Human skill domains(F=4.47, P=.004) and Conceptual skill domain(F=2.93, P=.034). 6) Educational needs according to educational background were not significant difference. But out of respondents, nurses educated at 3-year junior college relatively showed lowest needs in all of the 3 skill domains.         In this study, the performance of the CART(Classification and Regression Tree) is compared with that of the discriminant analysis method. In most experiments using bank data, discriminant analysis shows better performance in terms of the total cost. In contrast, most experiments using insurance data show that the CART in better than discriminant analysis in terms of the total cost. The contradictory results are analyzed by using the characteristics of the data sets. The performances of both the Classification and Regression Tree and discriminant analysis depend on the parameters: failure prior probability, data used, type 1 error cost, type 2 error cost, and validation method.

        만 5세와 초등학교 3학년 간 멘토링 프로그램 개발 및 적용 효과

        본 연구에서는 만 5세와 초등학교 3학년을 대상으로 멘토링(mentoring) 프로그램을 개발하여 적용해 보고 그 효과를 살펴보았다. 예비연구를 거쳐 최종 개발된 멘토링 프로그램에는 서울소재의 M 유치원 만 5세 유아 27명과 M 초등학교 3학년 아동 9명이 참여하였다. 멘토링 프로그램은 M 유치원에서 매 주 1회씩 20주 동안 총 20회 실시하였다. 자료분석을 위해 유아관찰 기록, 유아, 초등학교 아동 및 교사 면담자료, 동영상 자료, 멘토링 프로그램 및 멘토 교육 관련 결과물, 부모용 사후 설문지, 연구일지 등을 수집하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 멘토와 멘티가 돈독한 관계를 유지하는 기회가 되었다. 둘째, 멘토와 멘티들의 친사회적 행동이 증진되었다. 셋째, 멘토가 멘티에게 초등학교 준비를 도와줌으로써 초등학교 준비교육의 효과를 증진시켰다. 넷째, 반성적 사고 중심의 멘토교육은 멘토링 프로그램에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 다섯째, 연구 참여자들이 참여 유치원과 초등학교 양 기관에 대해 자부심을 갖는 계기가 되었다. This study aims to evaluate the development and application of a mentoring program between five-year-old and third-grade children. Based on initial results from the pilot study, modifications were made to develop the final version of the mentoring program. 27 children from M kindergarten and 9 children from M elementary school located in Seoul participated in the program. Mentoring took place once a week for twenty weeks at M kindergarten. Data was collected continuously in the following manner: written observation reports of the kindergarteners; interviews with both the children and the teachers; video recordings of the mentoring sessions; materials used in the mentoring sessions; questionnaires for the children’s parents; and a research diary written throughout the program. The findings of the study are summarized as follows. First, the mentoring program works well to develop a good relationship between the mentor and the mentees. Second, both the kindergarteners and the elementary school students develop pro-social behavior. Third, certain mentoring activities are effective in helping the kindergarteners prepare for elementary school. Fourth, the reflective thinking used for mentor education contributes to the success of the mentoring program. Lastly, both the mentors and the mentees have more pride in their respective institutions after the mentoring program.

      • 필기 한글 문자의 모양 분해

        필기 한글의 문자나 단어 인식에 있어 패턴을 구성하는 획 성분을 추출하는 작업은 매우 중요하다. 세선화와 직선근사에 기반한 고전적인 방법은 원래 패턴을 크게 왜곡한다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 우리는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 한글 패턴에 적합한 모양 분해 알고리즘을 제안한다. 한글 패턴은 T-접점과 B-접점이라는 두 가지 모양 특징을 중심으로 분할할 수 있다고 관찰에 근거하여 알고리즘을 설계하였다. 또한 세 개 이상의 획이 복잡한 형태로 만나는 결합 지점을 강건하게 처리하는 방법도 제시한다. 제안한 알고리즘을 PE92 데이타베이스에 적용한 결과를 제시한다. In the recognition of handwritten Hangul characters or words, extraction of strokes is an important task. The classical approach based on the thinning and line approximation, have some drawbacks of distortion of the original patterns. In this paper, we propose a shape decomposition algorithm specifically designed for Hangul patterns to resolve such problems. The proposed algorithm is designed based on the observations that Hangul patterns can be decomposed with two shape features called T-junction and B-junction. Additionally we present a robust technique which deals with the situation where three or more strokes meet at a joint. We present experimental results obtained by applying the proposed method to PE92 database.

        화병환자를 대상으로 한 음악청취 중재의 효과에 대한 연구

        Objective: The objectives of this preliminary study was to develop cost-effective and accessible self-intervention program and to assess the effects of music listening self intervention program for Hwa-byung patients, who had undergone conflicts with family and economical problems, in quantity and quality. Subjects: Seven middle age women who had been diagnosed with Hwa-byung by Hwa-Byung Diagnotic interview Schedule participated in this program. Method: Participants learned music listening techniques and visited hospital three times a week during 2 weeks. Music-listening self intervention for Hwa-byung patients was consisted of three sad musics (in minor) and three sedative musics(in major) and performed at home for 2 weeks. Patient`s somatic symptoms and self awareness (of Hwa-byung scale), anxiety(STAI), anger(STAXI), depressive mood(BDI) were evaluated before and after intervention and 6 weeks later after study completed. And various and subjective responses of Music-listening self intervention for Hwa-byung patients were collected by semi-structured interview made for this study. Results: Their Somatic symptoms(especially insomnia), self-awareness of Hwa-byung and depressive mood were improved except anxiety, anger. This improvement had maintained over a 6-week follow-up period. Patients had used constantly the music-listening program for Hwa-byung patients after the study completed. Conclusion: The music-listening program will be an effective for Hwa-byung patient`s somatic symptoms and depressive mood and had been used constantly by them. But, much methodological supplementation will be needed to assess clinical effects on this program.
