컴퓨터 바이러스에 의한 시스템 마비와 해킹을 통한 정보파괴나 도용 등과 같은 직접적인 부작용은 물론 인터넷상의 익명성을 이용한 악의적 정보유포나 개인정보의 유출 등을 포함하는 간접적 피해사례도 급격히 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이와 같은 정보화 혁명의 부작용은 정보화의 진전에 따라 그 파괴력도 비례적으로 증가하고 있음이 실증적으로 드러나고 있다. 1994년부터 국가적 차원에서 초고속정보통신망 구축을 시작한 이래, 세계적인 인터넷 선도국가로 도약한 우리나라가 1.25 SQL Slammer Worm 대란의 가장 큰 피해국이라는 사실이 단적인 예라고 하겠다. 이에 본 논문에서는 정보보호산업의 선진국인 미국, 유럽, 일본에 대한 정보보호 정책을 살펴봄으로써 향후 우리의 정보보호정책 수립에 도움을 주고자 한다.

Construction waste is known to include a large part of coarse and fine aggregates, which can be recirculated in the industry. Separating those aggregates economically from the waste has been thus considered to be one of the most important issues in this field. In particular, paste mixed in the waste causes significant complain from the inhabitants living near the place where waste-processing equipments are built and operated. In this study, we investigate the operational principle of a newly developed paste separator by using theoretical (in this first part) and CFD (in the second part) analysis. The separator consists of a rotor which turned out to play a significant role in separating those pastes from the aggregates. Under suitable assumptions regarding the air flow velocity as well as the particle velocity, we show that particles can be stagnant at the outlet of the roto channel for a wide range of parameter values, which allow the particles to get enough time to settle down via the gravitation. We also demonstrate such phenomenon by using a simple numerical simulation.
압축착화 디젤엔진의 모사 EGR 시스템에 의한 소음 특성 변화 분석

Experimental study was conducted to investigate the effect of EGR(exhaust gas recirculation) on engine noise using single cylinder combustion ignition engine. Under constant engine rotary speed of 1200 RPM, 8 mg fuel quantity was injected with 15, 18 and 21% of oxygen ratio and 1400 bar of injection pressure. Using the in-cylinder pressure data acquired by a piezoelectric transducer, the engine performance parameters were calculated. Radiated engine noise measured for 10 seconds was analyzed using spectral characteristics and sound quality metrics such as loudness, sharpness, roughness. From the obtained engine performance parameters and sound quality metrics, effect of oxygen ratio of the premixed air, start of injection timing on frequency characteristic and sound quality metrics were analyzed. Correlation analysis was conducted between MPRR(maximum pressure rise rate), RI(ringing intensity) and sound quality metrics. RI was identified as the most important factor having influence on the sound quality metrics.
