노화흰쥐의 시상하부에서 vasopressin-면역반응 신경세포의 형태학적 변화

노화는 중추신경계의 구조를 변화시킬 뿐 아니라 여러 신경인자들의 분포에 영향을 미쳐 생체리듬에 많은 변화를 초래한다. vasopressin (VP)은 시상하부에서 분비되는 펩타이드의 일종으로서, 주로 혈압을 상승시키고 항이뇨호르몬 작용을 가진다. 본 연구는 여러 생체리듬조절에 관여하는 시상하부에 분포하는 VP-면역반응 신경세포의 형태학적 변화를 노화흰쥐에서 관찰함으로써 노화로 인한 신경세포 변화를 관찰하고자 하였다. Sprague-Dawley계의 약 12주령인 젊은 흰쥐와 약 18월령의 노화흰쥐에 통상의 조직처리를 한 후 VP 일차항체를 사용하여 면역조직화학염색을 시행한 후 광학현미경으로 비교 관찰하였다. VP의 염색결과, VP-면역반응 신경세포는 주로 시상하부의 뇌실곁핵과 시각로위핵에서 두드러지게 관찰되었으며 노화흰쥐의 VP-면역반응 신경세포에서 핵과 세포체 크기가 젊은흰쥐에 비해 매우 크게 관찰되었으나 노화흰쥐의 VP-면역반응 신경세포의 수는 감소하였다. 그리고 시각교차위핵에서 노화흰쥐에서 VP-면역반응 신경세포의 수는 젊은흰쥐보다 약 2배정도 많이 나타났다. 따라서 노화가 진행됨에 따라 시상하부에서 VP 분비의 변화를 초래하여 다양한 기본생활주기가 달라지고 하루주기행동의 주간리듬(diurnal rhythm)의 변화에 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료된다. The role of neuropeptides in the central nervous system (CNS) has received increasing attention. Numerous peptide molecules are found in the mammalian CNS and many of them are thought to act as either neurotransmitters or neuromodulators. The neuropeptides found in high concentration in the hypothalamus include vasopressin (VP), vasoactive intestinal polypeptide, somatostatin, and oxytocin. The main approches to assess the involvement of neuropeptides can be focused on functions affecting the aging of the brain. Morphological aging of the CNS has been characterized by degenerative changes of fiber connections and cell loss, although degeneration does not always occur to the same extent throughout various parts of the brain and, moreover, varies for different cell types. Despite of many studies in VP containing neurons , there exist discrepancies in results about the changes of aged rat brain. The aim of the present study is, therefore, to investigative possible changes in the number and morphology of VPimmunoreactive neurons with aging in each area of the hypothalmus of the aged rats. As a result, the number of VP-immunoreactive neurons was decreased in hypothalamus nucleus of aged group. Especially, in VP-immunoreactive neurons of hypothalamus, the size of neuronal cell body and nuclei in aged group is larger than in young group and the fiber density of immunoreactivity neurons of median eminance (ME) in aged group is stronger than in young group. But, the total number of VP-immunoreactive neurons in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) of the aged group is larger than in the young group. These studies indicate the involvement of VP-immunoreactive neurons in aging process of hypothalamus, and aging process may affect the synthesis of VP in the neurons of hypothalamic nuclei. Whereas, in VP expression, aging process induces an enlargement of the cell size of surviving neurons to compensate.

Mercury mass balance was investigated in Lake An-dong, located in the upper stream of the Nakdong River, to assess the status of mercury pollution by measuring mercury inputs and outputs of the lake. The parameters for mercury input estimation included atmospheric wet deposition (0.52 kg/yr), dry deposition (0.20 kg/yr), river inflow (16.93 kg/yr) and diffusion from lake sediments (0.64 kg/yr). The mercury inputs totaled 18.29 kg/yr, and 92.5% of this total input was attributed to river inflow from the upper stream. Mercury outputs were measured in evasion (0.14 kg/yr), lake outflow (1.92 kg/yr) and sedimentation (45.77 kg/yr), and the total mercury output was estimated to be 47.83 kg/yr. The imbalance between the inputs and outputs of mercury was 29.54 kg/yr, which suggests that there are other missing inputs of mercury to Lake An-dong such as river input during heavy rainfalls and tributary inflow.
청년 일자리 창출을 위한 특례보증의 성과 연구 : 광주⋅충남신용보증재단을 중심으로

지역경제 성장과 관련 지역의 청년실업을 낮추는 정책은 매우 중요하다. 많은 지자체에서는 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 청년들에게 다양한 지원 정책을 펴고 있다. 그 중에서도 지자체의 출연을 받고 있는 광주재단은 지역 내 청년창업가들을 위해 200억원의 청년창업 특례보증을 시행하였다. 충청남도는 충남재단을 통해 도내 청년 실업률 해소와 청년 창업 활성화를 위해 ‘충남형 청년아름가게 소상공인자금 지원 사업’을 2014년 말부터 시행하였다. 두 재단의 특례보증에 대한 설문 및 투입산출 분석 결과, 청년들의 안정적인 경영환경을 조성하고, 창업을 촉진하는 등, 청년창업자의 사업의욕을 고취시키고 자생력을 제고시키는 성과를 달성한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 특례보증은 일반보증과 달리 공공성과 위험성이 높은 분야에 집중할 필요성도 제기되는 만큼 두 재단 모두 청년 창업에 있어 도소매업과 음식숙박업과 같은 생계형 창업에 집중된 것은 지양할 과제이다. 특히, 청년들에게 창업의 기회를 확보하고 성장의 마중물 역할을 할 수 있는 청년창업 자금은 지속적으로 확대할 필요가 있다. 이와 함께 신용도가 높은 청년창업자에 대한 쏠림현상을 해소해야 할 것이다. 앞으로도 중앙정부와 지방정부는 청년창업자의 적정 공급규모를 산출하고, 안정적이고 지속적인 청년 일자리 창출은 위한 자금이 공급될 수 있어야 할 것이다. Policies that reduce regional economic growth and youth unemployment in the relevant areas are very important. Many region governments are implementing various support policies for young people to revitalize the regional economy. Among other things, the Gwangju Foundation, which is receiving contributions from region governments, provided 20 billion won in special guarantees for young entrepreneurs in the region, with 2 billion won in compensation from the city government. Chungcheongnam-do also implemented the Chungnam-type Youth Beauty Shop project from the end of 2014 through the Chungnam Foundation to help ease youth unemployment in the province and revitalize youth start-ups. The survey and input-output analysis of the two foundations showed that they achieved achievements in encouraging young start-ups desire to do business and enhancing self-sustaining power by creating a stable management environment and promoting start-up. However, unlike general guarantees, it is also necessary to focus on areas of high public nature and risk, so it is a matter to be avoided that both foundations are focused on youth start-ups such as wholesale and retail and food and lodging. In particular, it is necessary to continuously expand the funds for youth start-ups that can secure opportunities for start-ups and serve as a catalyst for growth. At the same time, the government will have to address its focus on young startups with high credit ratings. In the future, the central and local governments will have to calculate the proper supply scale of young start-ups, and funds will be available for stable and sustained job creation for young people.
변압기형 초전도 한류기의 고장전류 제한 및 모선전압강하 억제특성 분석

As one of the countermeasures to solve the increase of the fault current in a power system, the superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) has been noticed together with the development of a various types of SFCL, which has accelerated the researches to apply a SFCL into a power system. Among the developed SFCLs, the transformer type SFCL is expected to be available for adjusting the voltage and the current ratings of the SFCL. In this paper, the fault current limiting and the bus line's voltage sag suppressing effect by the transformer type SFCL were investigated and the case without the transformer type SFCL was compared as well. Through the analysis on the results of the short-circuit tests, the fault current limiting and the bus-line voltage suppressing characteristics of the transformer type SFCL could be confirmed to be effectively performed.
유해 중금속 제거를 위한 소규모 정수처리용 여재 성능평가 연구

In case of Mongolia, even though awareness of the water environment is gradually increased, it is not easy to receive the supply of clean water due to the shortage of water treatment facilities and specialized personnel aging. In addition, ground water quality is also poor with lots of mineral contents including hazardous heavy metal ions. Thus, small-scale water treatment package system, which has considered to design high work performance, portability, low cost and easy replacement, is consist of adsorbent module using alum sludge and zeolite. In this study, batch adsorption tests were conducted using alum sludge and zeolite with heavy metal ions such as arsenic, iron and manganese in order to evaluate applicability in the package system. In the results of experiment, although there are differences of removal rate in accordance with the substance, alum sludge hold great potential to remove cationic and anionic heavy metal species simultaneously with zeolite. Thus, when it applies to small scale water treatment package system in Mongolia, it is able to remove hazardous heavy metal ions effectively.
