        주변토양의 지구화학적 특성과 잠재적 오염원이 도서지역 저수지의 오염부하에 미치는 영향(II) - 강우 유출 모형을 이용한 유입경로별 유출량 평가 -

        This research aims to gain the result of assessment of inflow categorized by runoff path using DIROM (Daily Irrigation Reservoir Operation Model) for Baengnyeong-myeon reservior which was built for residents of Baengnyeong island to solve the shortage of drinking water and stable supply of domestic water. The simulation results of DIROM and actual hydrograph of the reservoir show very low correlation with geological characteristics. The simulation results by DIROM after adjusting with modified Tank III model which considers all outflow from Tank II model as interflow among 3 level tanks show good correlation of its regional runoff and inflow characteristics with R2=0.9058. In the study area, diffluence of 37% of rain fall of the study year has been simulated, which shows low result compared to the average river runoff of national water resource. In addition,34.5% of total inflow to the study reservoir is mainly interflow and baseflow among expected several channels.

        One-Step Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction for Ebola and Marburg Viruses

        Objectives: Ebola and Marburg viruses (EBOVs and MARVs, respectively) are causative agents of severe hemorrhagic fever with high mortality rates in humans and nonhuman primates. In 2014, there was a major Ebola outbreak in various countries in West Africa, including Guinea, Liberia, Republic of Sierra Leone, and Nigeria. EBOV and MARV are clinically difficult to diagnose and distinguish from other African epidemic diseases. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to develop a method for rapid identification of the virus to prevent the spread of infection. Methods: We established a conventional one-step reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay for these pathogens based on the Superscript Reverse Transcriptase-Platinum Taq polymerase enzyme mixture. All assays were thoroughly optimized using in vitro-transcribed RNA. Results: We designed seven primer sets of nucleocapsid protein (NP) genes based on sequences from seven filoviruses, including five EBOVs and two MARVs. To evaluate the sensitivity of the RT-PCR assay for each filovirus, 10-fold serial dilutions of synthetic viral RNA transcripts of EBOV or MARV NP genes were used to assess detection limits of viral RNA copies. The potential for these primers to cross react with other filoviruses was also examined. The results showed that the primers were specific for individual genotype detection in the examined filoviruses. Conclusion: The assay established in this study may facilitate rapid, reliable laboratory diagnosis in suspected cases of Ebola and Marburg hemorrhagic fevers.

        In this research potential liquation of contaminants from surrounding soil to a reservoir in an island was studied to investigate the cause and route of contamination of Baengyeong-myeon reservoir. Soil of Baengyeong-myeon reservoir consists of SiO2 and has a high iron content because of geological characteristics of its country rock. From the field investigation and simulation study it was found that highly accumulated carbon content in the reservoir sediment was incurred from ground water, which provides a good habitat for microbes. And the liquation, the cause of organics growth, occurs mainly on the bottom of the reservoir consisting marine clay layer once used as farmland. So dredging of the sediment of reservoir and replacing with valley soil is suggested to prevent continuous contamination of a reservoir in an island due to COD production.

        Critical thinking which must be one of the major educational goals may well serve to not only solve the problems in a reasonable way but also enhance human dignity, construct a mature democratic society and develop the education. Critical thinking among the high thinking abilities is suggested as not only reasonable problem solving with creative thinking but also central thinking field working on the finding, understanding and evaluation of problem. Above all, we can't escape to emphasize the importance of critical thinking in the point of doing the most central role to judge and evaluate the propriety of every thinking. Critical thinking is treated as one of important education goal in every country including America. and various trials are developed to promote this in real education field. Now, approaching to the 21th century, it is not too much to say that our educational reality depresses and ignores critical thinking abilities rather than extending it although the ability of thinking critically is required seriously than any other time. Education should make the students adapt to the changing world. The role of education should not be restricted to only transmitting the structured knowledge simply. Our students are skilled at only accepting passively and not critically, and we should foster their ability so that they may consider about knowledge. information and think critically. We need the intentional and planned education to stretch the student's critical thinking abilities for this purpose. In this study, I supposed that we could promote students' critical thinking abilities through education on the basis of wide pre-study results and discussed about the criticism of present Korean education interfering with the stretch of critical thinking abilities. consideration of present condition of domestic and foreign critical thinking education. and approaching plan for critical thinking education hereafter.

        고교다양화와 고교선택제에 따른 학교 체제 변화 연구 : 서울시 일반고등학교 사례를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to explore changes in the general education high school system since the high school diversification policy and high school choice policy have been adopted in Seoul in 2010. Researchers analyze how 'Hankok high school' system has been changed since the high school diversification policy and high school choice policy were introduced in Seoul, using the Hoy & Miskel's instructional model and interviewing school members. The main findings of this study are as follows: First, high school diversification policy and high school choice policy had a negative influence on general education high school. Secondly, the general education high school system showed the considerable change since high school diversification policy and high school choice policy in Seoul were adopted. Thirdly, the competitiveness of general education high schools has been greatly worsened because of the high school diversification policy and high school choice policy in Seoul. Finally, the analysis of policy influence on the self-funded private high schools should be executed and lots of policy support should be given to the non-preferred high schools. 이 연구는 고교다양화와 서울시 고교선택제 시행에 따른 일반고등학교 체제 변화를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 Hoy와 Miskel의 학교체제모형을 수정하여 개발한 학교체제 변화모형을 활용하여 학교체제 변화를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 정책환경의 영향을 많이 받았을 것으로 추정되는 서울시 일반고였고, 연구방법은 문헌연구를 중심으로, 면접을 통해 보완하였다. 연구 결과 고교다양화 정책과 서울시 고교선택제에 따른 일반고 체제의 투입과 산출은 크게 악화되었다. 또한 고교다양화 정책과 서울시 고교선택제의 도입에 따른 일반고 체제Ⅰ(2010~2011)과 체제Ⅱ(2012~2013)는 큰 차이를 보이고 있으며, 일반고 체제변화의 가장 큰 요인은 고교다양화 정책과 고교선택제의 시행에 따른 학교체제 투입의 변화로 나타났다. 따라서 교육정책 당국은 고교체제 변화를 가져오는 정책을 추진할 때는 학교현장에 미칠 수 있는 영향을 종합적으로 분석하여 신중하게 추진할 필요가 있다. 자사고 등 고교다양화 정책에 대한 전반적인 분석과 정책 조정이 필요하다. 비선호 일반고에 대한 정부 차원의 획기적인 지원 정책이 필요하다. 아울러 정부와 교육청은 다양한 정책적인 노력을 통해 학교체제 혁신을 위한 교사와 학부모의 노력을 유도, 지원, 촉진해야 한다.

        The analysis of air quality model applied for EIA in Korea indicates that ISCST3 and CALINE3 dominate the model, and it causes the problem that regional and business characteristics are not taken into account. To solve this problem, it appears necessary to build guideline of the air quality model operation. First of all, to implement the above plan we need to categorize the site into simple and complex terrain, coast to consider regional characteristics, and the sources of pollutants into point/area/line as well. To make the procedure more efficient with reduced time and less cost, we are to apply screening model for prelimninary work of the suggested model.
