With changing to the new information technology society, education has also been urged to utilize the Information Ccmmunication Technology(ICT). Thanks to the recent efforts by the government, a large number of schools has been equipped with advanced educational technologies. While there has been a lot of studies on how to use ICT more effectively, relatively few is the studies about the activating factors of ICT utilization. More than often than not, those studies have been conducted about the survey of current situations of ICT utilization and have never had implemented based on the theory of diffusion of innovation. As a result, the current study surveyed the previous studies about encouraging and resistance factors of ICT utilization in light of the theory of diffusion of innovation and environmental encouraging factors by Ely. Then, the efforts were made to present suggestions to encourage the utilization of ICT in schools.

This study deals with the roundabout traffic accidents by traffic impeding factor. The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyze the characteristics of accidents and to develop the accident models. In pursuing the above, this study used a statistical program SPSS 20.0 to analyze 2,342 accidents occurred within 79 roundabouts in Korea. The main results are as follows. First, 4 accident models which were all statistically significant were developed. Second, the traffic volume and width of right-turn-only lane were analyzed to be common variable in the bus stop related models. The variables such as right-turn-only lane, street light, turning radius of entry lane were selected as specific variables. Especially street light and turning radius of entry lane were evaluated to have negative effects to the accidents. It is, therefore, essential to install the street light and place a sufficient turning radius in order to reduce the roundabout accidents. Finally, the traffic volume and number of entry lane were analyzed to be common variable in the on-street parking related models. Also, the width of right-turn-only lane and bus stop were evaluate to be specific variables in the model with on-street parking. This can be expected to give some implications to making the accident reduction guidelines.

This study deals with the traffic accidents by weather condition. The objectives are to comparatively analyze the characteristics, and to develop the models of traffic accidents by weather condition. In pursuing the above, this paper gives particular attentions to testing the differences between two groups, and developing the models(Poisson and negative binomial regression) using the data of domestic circular intersections. The main results are as follows. First, three Poisson models and one negative binomial models which were all statistically significant were developed using the number of accident and EPDO by the clear weather and other as the dependant variables. Second, the differences bet-ween two models were comparatively analyzed using the chosen variables. This paper might be expected to give some implications to traffic safety policy-making to reduce and prevent the traffic accidents in circular intersections.

This study deals with the left-turn treatments of intersection. The goal of this study is to comparatively analyze the effectiveness of various treatments. In pursuing the above, this study gives particular attentions to simulating the delay of such the treatments as protected left-turn, P-turn, U-turn and roundabout using VISSIM software. The main results are as follows. First, in 4-leg/2-lane intersection, roundabout under 800veh./h and P-turn over 900veh./h are analyzed to be the best treatments. Second, in 4-leg/3-lane intersection, the analyses show that protected left-turn is the worst and U-turn is the best treatment. Finally, in the higher left-turn ratio, U-turn and P-turn treatments are analyzed to be better than protected left-turn.

This study was investigated to sensible characteristic and physical characteristic to estimate value of the craft for Pinus densiflora and Pinus densiflora for. erecta Uyeki wood. The sensual characteristics of wood are evaluated by wood figure, wood grain, odor, and the physical characteristics by weathering, abrasion, surface roughness and hardness. The wood figure of these species were observed at flat grain in the radial section and edge grain in the tangential section. Also, burl’s figure was observed in Burl of Pinus densiflora wood. Pinus densiflora for. erecta Uyeki wood had volatile aroma compounds such as Camphene, Thymyl ether, α-Longipinene, etc. Pinus densiflora wood had volatile aroma compounds such as α-Longipinene, (+)-Cedrol, etc. The moisture soption, abrasion, hardness and roughness were very different between the two species.

This study deals with the lagging left-turn introduced to Cheongju. The goal is to analyze the accident reduction effects by legal violation. In pursuing the above, the pedestrian accident data from 2007 to 2011 were collected from TAAS data set of Road Traffic Authority. To analyze the effects, EB(empirical Bayes) method was utilized in this study. The main results are as follows. First, 3 accident models were developed, which were all statically significant. Second, the variables adopted in the models were traffic volume and number of approach lane and pedestrian crossing. Finally, the lagging left-turn signal were analyzed to have the accident reduction effects from EB analysis.

This study deals with the multi-legged roundabout. The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyze the effectiveness of multi-legged roundabout. This study gives the particular attentions to introducing the roundabout to Cheongju. The main results are the followings. First, the multi-legged roundabout with overpass is analyzed to be effective than the existing multi-legged intersection. Average delay time per vehicle is evaluated to be reduced to more than 64.388 or 59.642 sec. Second, the delay of multi-legged roundabout is analyzed to be similar to that of multi-legged intersection. In summary, the introduction of multi-legged roundabout to Cheongju is evaluated to be very effective.

Recently, automotive industry has applied high strength steels due to the demand for reduced vehicle weight and improved safety. A hot press forming process has been implemented to increase the strength of passenger car body parts and to reduce not only the weight of parts but also the number of work process. 1.5GPa hot press forming steel is widely used in mass production. In order to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases and improve fuel efficiency, new hot press forming steel has been developed. The purpose of these study is focused on investigation into microstructure and mechanical properties of two kinds of hot press forming steel.
