        태양전지 변환 효율 향상을 위한 근적외선 파장 변환 필름에 관한 연구

        The amount of electric power for photovoltaic power generation depends on the location of the power plant and the direction of solar cell. The solar cell controls the generation of solar power plants. Therefore, the structure of solar cell, manufacturing method, and optic technology were factors contributing to increased solar cell efficiency; however, the technical limit has been reached. Herein, we propose a new method to increase the solar cell efficiency using a wavelength conversion technology that converts ultraviolet and infrared rays, which are not effectively used in solar cells, into effective wavelength of solar cell. We used fluoride $Na(Ca)YF_4$ phosphor for wavelength conversion. Then, a wavelength-conversion fluorescent paste, prepared using an organic-silicon binder, was used to prepare a film that was applied to Si solar cells. It was confirmed that conversion efficiency improved by 5% or more.

        외부혼합형 음속노즐을 사용한 2유체 미립화의 분무특성

        Spray characteristics of external mixing sonic twin-fluid atomization nozzles are investigated experimentally. Particle sizes are measured by the Fraunhofer diffraction method using the Malvern particle analyzer, and their radial distributions are obtained using the tomographical transformation technique. The spatial distribution of SMD shows that the drop size increases in the radial direction at a fixed liquid flow rate, and the distribution is getting uniform rapidly as the atomizing gas pressure increases. The SMD decreases as the liquid flow rate increases at a fixed GLR. It is found that the atomization efficiency of the flush type sonic nozzle is superior to that of protrusion type. The effect of laser beam diameter of the particle analyzer on the spatial SMD distribution is minor at present experimental conditions.

        Scaffolds play a crucial role in the tissue engineering. Biodegradable polymers with great processing flexibility and biocompatability are predominant scaffolding materials. New developments in biodegradable polymers and their nanocomposites for the tissue engineering are discussed. Recent development in the scaffold designs that mimic nano and micro features of the extracellular matrix (ECM) of bones, cartilages, and vascular vessels are presented as well.

        마이크로 쿨러 증발기의 비등 전 과도열전달 해석

        It has been investigated for the temperature profile in a planar evaporator of micro-cooler subject to a uniform heat flux prior to tole initiation of boiling. The results of the analysis allow for the determination of applied power levels fur which nucleation is likely to occur only within the vapor grooves of the evaporator while maintaining subcooling in the liquid core, thereby increasing the likelihood of a successful startup. Also, limits are fecund for which additional increases in the applied heat flux do not increase the temperature difference between the vapor grooves and the wick-liquid core interface. This analysis is appropriate for the microscale evaporators of micro-cooler during a fully-flooded startup as well as starter pump designs and micro-CPLs(capillary pumped loops). The results are useful in the initial basic design of microscale heat transfer devices.

        유동방향의 열전도가 전열면의 성능에 미치는 영향

        The effects of longitudinal heat conduction on the performance of heat transfer surfaces are investigated by using a single-blow method. In the transient testing method for determining the heat transfer characteristics, exponential inlet temperature variations are made by using screen-mesh heater with small time constant and low frontal velocities of the test section, and the experimentally determined inlet temperature profile is used as the inlet fluid temperature condition. The effects of longitudinal heat conduction are negligible only if $\gamma^\act<0.05\;and \;N_{tu}\le3$ and should be considered if $N_{tu}\le3$ The test results ate compared with the existing theoretical and experimental data and the validity of this technique is confirmed by the good agreement.

        도시 저소득층 주거안정화를 위한 신(新)주거복지 공간연구 - 농장형 주택(Farm Housing)시설 공간 중심으로 -

        Korea has been striving for the development of the nation in various aspects. It will also have to make an effort for its continued development in the future. The problems of low-income groups that occur in those processes cannot be simply ignored now. It is needed to provide an equal opportunity to low-income groups so that they can be part of the society. The cycle of economic problem should be disconnected through this process. Farm-Housing is one of the solutions to this problem. Its purposes are not only to provide residence in the complex, but to gain income through various activities, such as production, distribution and consumption, and solve part of the economic problems of the people living in the Farm-Housing. To sell the products of Farm-Housing, the neighboring cities need to be designated as a hinterland. For this reason, Farm-Housing needs to be located in the suburban area of large cities. However, the current laws and policies make it difficult to construct Farm-Housing in suburban areas. Presenting plans to solve such problem is the purpose of this paper.

      • 변풍량(變風量)시스템의 에너지해석(解析)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

        This paper presents an energy analysis on the VAV system of 10-story building in Seoul using DOE-2 program and Modified Bin Method. The use of VAV system is an excellent means of saving energy in new buildings and/or retrofit. The fan control techniques considered are cycling, discharge dampers, inlet vanes, and motor speed control. The monthly and annual energy consumption is calculated for fan control techniques, components, and chiller types. The results of annual fan electricity use are compared using DOE-2 and Modified Bin Method, and show fairly good agreement. In addition, factors affecting energy consumption are also described.

        음악제작을 위한 음성합성엔진의 활용과 기술

        음악제작에 쓰이는 음성합성엔진은 악기 소리와 음색의 합성에 머물던 과거의 신디사이저와는 달리, 인간의 목소리를 각 음소에 따라 샘플화하여 탑재함과 동시에 각 음소의 연결을 주파수 영역 내에서 자연스럽게 처리함으로써 실제 사람이 노래하는 것과 같은 수준까지 도달하게 되었다. 사용자들은 이러한 음성합성엔진을 음악제작에 국한하여 쓰지 않고 캐릭터를 활용한 콘서트, 영상제작, 음반, 모바일 서비스 등 2차 창작물로 새로운 음악의 형태를 창조하며 문화적 패러다임을 바꾸어 나가고 있다. 현재 음성합성엔진 기술은 악보 편집기를 통하여 사용자가 원하는 음과 가사, 그리고 음악적 표현 파라미터를 입력한 뒤, 실제 가성 샘플을 데이터베이스에서 가져와 합성엔진에서 발음들을 조합, 연결하여 노래하는 것을 가능하게 한다. 이러한 컴퓨터음악 기술의 발전으로 인해 파생된 새로운 음악 형태들은 문화적으로 큰 반향을 불러일으키고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문은 구체적 활용 사례를 살펴보고 합성기술을 탐색함으로써, 사용자들이 음성합성엔진을 이해하고 습득하는 데 기여함과 동시에 그들의 다양한 음악제작에 도움이 되고자 한다. Differently from instruments which synthesized sounds and tones in the past, voice synthesis engine for music production has reached to the level of creating music as if actual artists were singing. It uses the samples of human voices naturally connected to the different levels of phoneme within the frequency range. Voice synthesis engine is not simply limited to the music production but it is changing cultural paradigm through the second creations of new music type including character music concerts, media productions, albums, and mobile services. Currently, voice synthesis engine technology makes it possible that users input pitch, lyrics, and musical expression parameters through the score editor and they mix and connect voice samples brought from the database to sing. New music types derived from such a development of computer music has sparked a big impact culturally. Accordingly, this paper attempts to examine the specific case studies and the synthesis technologies for users to understand the voice synthesis engine more easily, and it will contribute to their variety of music production.

        축소확대 노즐에 의한 2유체 미립화의 유동가시화 및 분무특성

        Present study visualized flow pattern and investigated spray characteristics of twin-fluid atomization with converging-diverging nozzles. Particle sizes were measured by using the Malvern particle analyzer, and the radial size distributions were evaluated by using the tomographic transform technique. The results show that the SMD generally increases in the radial direction at a prescribed liquid flow rate and the increasing rate in the SMD becomes gradual as atomizing gas pressure increases. The SMD decreases as the liquid flow rate increases at a fixed GLR (gas/liquid mass ratio). The atomization performance of the protrusion-type nozzle turned out to be superior to that of the flush-type. However, in the case of the protrusion-type, flow separation occurs outside the liquid delivery tube when the pressure at the gas nozzle chamber is high enough, which may deteriorate the atomization performance.
