측벽형 스프링클러 헤드 디플렉터의 성헝후처리에 따른 부식특성에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 UL(미국보험협회)에 규정된 암모니아 대기상태에서 측벽형 스프링클러 헤드 디플렉터의 응력부식균열을 막기 위한 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 성형 후처리로서 성형제품 그대로와 샌드블래스팅 처리한 것, 그리고 풀림 열처리를 한 것 등 3가지에 대하여 부식시험을 실시하였다. 금속현미경으로 시편을 관측한 결과 잔류응력이 부식균열을 일으키는 주요원인이며, 극심한 부식조건에서 발생할 수 있는 잔류응력을 적절한 열처리를 통해 제거하거나 감소시킬 수 있어 파손을 방지할 수 있다는 것을 확인 하였다. The objective of this study is to propose a method to prevent the possible stress corrosion cracking of a horizontal side-wall sprinkler head deflector in the same atmosphere of ammonia gas as it regulated in the UL (Underwriters Laboratory). A corrosion test is carried out for three types of specimen according to post-forming treatment, one of which is annealing, another sand blasting and the other no treatment. The observation of the test specimens with a metal micro-scope says that the tensile residual stress is a major factor causing corrosion cracking, and that a proper heat treatment can remove or reduce the residial stress and prevent a crack from occurring even in a severe corrosive atmosphers.
정수장 DAF-여과지 적용에 따른 Synedra sp. 제거효과 분석

국내에서는 규조류가 겨울철에서 봄철까지 높은 개체수로 출현하여 정수처리 공정에 장애를 일으켜왔다. 특히 규조 류 중 Synedra sp.은 바늘모양으로 가늘고 길어 여과지 폐색을 가중시켜 왔다. 대부분의 정수장은 Synedra sp. 유입시 산화공정을 강화하고, 응집제 주입량 증가와 함께 폴리아민을 추가 주입하는 등 응집․침전 공정에서 규조류를 제거하고 있지만 완벽한 처리에 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 Synedra sp.의 완벽한 처리를 위해 DAF-여과지를 도입함으로써 그 실증 효과를 분석하였다. 여과지에 DAF를 적용함으로써 탁질 제거능을 59%로 증가시켰으며, 일반여과지보다 25.2% 향상된 결과를 얻었다. 또한 고탁도가 유입될수록 탁질 제거능이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. DAF-여과지의 Synedra sp. 제거 효율은 97.4%로 대부분의 Synedra sp.를 부상시켜 제거시킬 수 있었다. DAF-여과지의 여과지속시간은 183 h으로 일반여과지보다 72.6% 향상되었다. Diatoms have appeared in high numbers from winter to spring and have caused obstacles in the water treatment process. Especially Seynedra of needle shape has increased the clogging of the filtration-basin. When Synedra sp. increases, most of the WTP remove that by enhancing an oxidation, coagulation and sedimentation process such as addition of polyamine. The purpose of this study is that installing DAF in filtration-basin and analyzing the effect of DAF. Applying DAF to the filtration-basin increased the turbidity removal rate to 59% and improved by 25% than general filtration-basin. It was also found that the higher the turbidity flowed in, the better the removal efficient of turbidity. The Synedra sp. removal efficiency of the DAF filtration-basin was 97% and most of the Synedra sp. could be removed by floating. The filtration time of DAF filtration-basin was 183 hours, which was 72% higher than that of general filtration-basin.
급전방법에 따른 패치 안테나의 임피던스 특성에 관한 연구

In this paper, the input impedance of the rectangular microstrip patch antennas are analyzed by using the moment technique. The analysis is carried out for three different feeding structures: direct microstrip line inset-feeding, electromagnetically coupled feeding structure, and coplanar waveguide feeding structure. The input impedances of the designed microstrip antennas are measured and compared with the calculation results, which show a good agreement.
2차 공기 주입각이 소각로 내부의 온도 분포 균일도에 미치는 영향

This research is aimed to find out how the inlet angle of secondary air affects the uniformity of temperature distribution inside a small incinerator. A commercial code, PHOENICS, is used to simulate the thermal-flow field of an incinerator. The computational grid system is constructed by Multi-Block technique provided by PHOENICS. Numerical experiments are done with the five different angles of secondary air inlet. The uniformity of temperature distribution is evaluated by checking the standard deviation of temperature distribution in an incinerator. The computational results show that there is the minimum value of standard deviation at the certain angle of secondary air inlet, which means that there is an optimum angle of secondary air inlet that could improve the uniformity of temperature distribution in an incinerator. The optimum angle of secondary air inlet is between 30 degree and 45 degree in this particular case.

It is a main object to find out the effect of curvature of pipe on the thermal flow field in copper pipe. the toroidal coordinate system is chosen for this project. 3-D numerical works are done by a commercial code, PHOENICS. The flow and temperature field are simulated and analysed on the view point of variation of pressure and temperature with Dean number. The results show that the strong recirculation phenomena and secondary flow are established and then a lot of pressure drop along main flow direction occurs at the curved portion of pipe and the temperature variation has a reversed trend of pressure variation along the axis of pipe.
