        중등 과학교사의 감정표현규칙과 감정노동 유형

        The purpose of the study is to explore secondary science teachers' emotional display rules, types of emotional labor, science-specific emotional display rules and the episodes of emotional labor. For this purpose, the survey to measure emotional labor of science teachers (The Emotional Labor of Science Teaching Scale: TELSTS) was developed and the participants were 145 secondary science teachers in Korea. Results showed that first, secondary science teachers recognized the emotional display rules defined by their schools, especially, positive display rules. Second, secondary science teachers showed that they were carrying out emotional labor in order to keep their emotional display rules in check. The mean value of responses to deep acting was high. Also, there were statistically significant differences in emotional labor depending on whether they were full-time or part-time teachers and their teaching career. Third, as a result of analyzing the specificity of science teachers, it was mainly related to the objective and logical image of science, and experimental instruction. Seventy-four percent (74%) of responses were negative or neutral emotional display rules. Finally, implications for science education are discussed.

        융·복합 교수역량 신장을 위한 중등 예비교사 교육 프로그램의 가능성과 한계: 국어, 수학, 과학의 융·복합을 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 융·복합 교수역량 신장을 위한 중등 예비교사 교육 프로그램을 실시하고, 이에 대한 예비교사의 경험을 분석하여 교사교육에 대한 시사점을 제공하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 국어, 수학, 과학 세 전공이 팀을 이루어 융·복합 수업을 설계, 시연하는 프로그램을 4주간 운영한 후, 설문조사를 통해 프로그램에 참여한 중등 예비교사 94명의 응답을 수집하였다. 이 중 8명을 선정하여 초점집단 심층면담을 2회 실시한 후 질적 분석하여 융·복합 교수역량 신장 프로그램의 가능성과 한계, 개선점 등을 도출하였다. 그 결과, 융·복합 교수역량 신장 프로그램을 통해 예비교사들은 융·복합 수업에 대한 인식이 확장되고, 수업 실행에 대한 동기와 전문성이 향상되었다. 그러나 융·복합 수업 설계 과정에서 융·복합 주제 찾기, 자연스럽고 구체적인 융·복합 수업상황 고안, 모둠원과의 시간이나 의견 조율 등에 어려움이 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 예비교사들은 프로그램의 개선점으로 예비교사의 수업 설계 및 시연에 대한 피드백 강화, 모둠 활동을 위한 시간적, 공간적 지원 등을 제안하였다. 분석 결과를 토대로 예비교사들의 융·복합 교수역량을 신장하기 위한 프로그램의 개선점과 예비교사 교육과정에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study is to provide suggestions on teacher education by analyzing the experiences of pre-service teachers after conducting a pre-service teacher education program for interdisciplinary teaching proficiency. A team consisting of Korean, math, and science-majored pre-service teachers worked together to design an interdisciplinary class and deliver/teach it. The experiences and opinions of 94 pre-service teachers that participated in the program were then surveyed using a questionnaire. In addition, eight of them were selected and participated in focus group interviews. The potential, limitations and areas for improvement in the interdisciplinary teaching program were revealed following qualitative analysis of the pre-service teachers responses. The results showed that the pre-service teachers extended their understanding of the interdisciplinary teaching and improved the motivation and proficiency of the class practice. However, it was found that they had difficulty in finding interdisciplinary topics, designing a natural and concrete class situation, and coordinating time and opinions with their members during the program. Furthermore, the pre-service teachers suggested receiving more feedback from professors on their design and demonstration of lesson plans, and having enough time and space for the group activity. Based on the results of the analysis, we discussed the improvement of the program and the implications for the curriculum of teacher education.

        예비물리교사의 교육실습 수업에서 나타난 적응적 실행 분석

        This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of pre-service physics teachers’ adaptive practices. For this purpose, we analyzed teaching and learning process plans, video recordings, field observation notes of 10 classes conducted by 7 pre-service teachers during their teaching practicum and interviews. We found a total of 24 adaptive practice cases. The main research results were as follows. First, the most frequent adaptive practices were ‘coordination of learning activities’, ‘omission of activities or materials’, ‘adjustment of concept level and scope’, and ‘addition of materials, examples, demonstrations, etc.’. Second, ‘coordination of learning activities’ and ‘omission of activities or materials’ are types that do not appear often among science teachers, but are often seen among pre-service teachers due to the lack of opportunities for pre-service teachers to practice classes. Third, pre-service teachers could hardly use adaptive practices commonly used by science teachers, such as ‘adding demonstrations’, ‘helping with numeracy/literacy’, ‘encouraging learner participation’, and ‘using analogies or metaphors’. Based on the results, implications for pre-service teacher education were discussed.

        한국어의 모음도에 대한 재고찰

        The purpose of this paper is to analyzes so-called vowel system of Korean Language in a medieval times, using the notions of vowel harmony. I argue that what is involved in the discontinuous constructions is the notion of vowel harmony and conversion of the new vowel system into medieval language. Under the present analysis of 7 vowel system(/ʌ, ɨ, i, o, u, a, ə/), several theoretical implications of an analysis to vowel "area" are discussed. Among them, the present analysis seems to provide more readily accounts for questions such as why the phenomena of vowel harmony in a medical language and modern language is contingent upon the choice of the vowel "area" and why in some cases, even a medieval language is limited to. Since the functions of vowel system are to specify or provide more detailed information about the medieval language that is introduced in a graph 8, the analysis presented here is hopefully more natural and well-motivated than a vowel system in a graph 4.

        교육실습과정에서 나타난 예비과학교사의 감정 경험과 감정 표현 규칙, 조절 전략의 탐색

        The goal of the study was to examine pre-service teachers’ emotional experiences, especially during student teaching. The following questions guided this study. First, during student teaching, what are the characteristics of emotional experiences of pre-service science teachers? Second, what are used as the emotional rules and strategies by student teacher? In this study, we tracked nine pre-service science teachers over a four-week period of the student teaching. The data sources were lesson observations, interviews, emotional journals, and video-recorded classroom lessons. Results showed that student teachers experienced various 25 different types of emotions which were reported as the primary emotions of Koreans. The main subjects for interaction for positive emotions were students. For negative emotions, students, teachers and student teachers themselves all resulted in such negative emotional experiences. When the student teachers experienced negative emotions, they followed the emotional rule that their emotions should not be expressed in front of the students. Because of this, they tried various strategies for controlling emotions, such as ‘understanding students’, ‘finding the positive side’, ‘seeing good students’, ‘ignoring’, ‘holding back’, ‘evading’, and ‘giving up’. Finally, suggestions for teacher education were discussed.

        교육실습에서 예비과학교사들이 경험하는 딜레마의 유형과 대처 방법

        The purpose of the study is to explore the types and coping methods of dilemmas that pre-service science teachers experience during student teaching. For this, we collected 131 dilemma journals that 34 pre-service science teachers wrote during a four-week period of student teaching. Results show that first, there are five categories of dilemmas, they are, ‘Which science teacher should I be?’, ‘What is good science teaching?’, ‘How should I build relationships with the people around me at school?’, and ‘Who am I as a student teacher?’. Second, pre-service science teachers’ status as a students-teachers made them cope with dilemmas passively. Third, when they cope with the dilemmas, student-teachers considered the dilemmas as conflicts of irreconcilable alternatives rather than opportunities of conciliation and compromise, therefore, most pre-service science teachers choose just one alternative and only 20% of dilemmas are resolved by compromise choice. Finally, dilemmas which showed the features of science teaching are the dilemmas related to scientific inquiry teaching and science teaching-learning model. Based on the results, we discussed the implications for teacher education.

        과학 긍정경험 구성 변인 간의 구조방정식 모형에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate a meaningful path model among the components of students` positive experiences about science and science learning to understand the interactive relationships among different variables of affective domains. Positive Experiences about Science (PES) means whole experiences that have positive effects on students` affectional achievement related with science learning, which consists of science academic emotion, science-related self-concept, science learning motivation, science-related attitude, and science-related career aspiration. We conducted an online survey with 1,841 students consisting of 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th graders from 17 provinces and cities using Test for Indicators of Positive Experiences about Science (TIPES). To explore the structural relationships among variables, we selected and analyzed an optimal structural equation model and then conducted multigroup analyses among groups. According to the analysis of the structural equation model, `positive as well as negative science academic emotion` has effects on science learning motivation, science-related attitude, and science-related career aspiration via science-related self-concept. According to the independent t-test results for TIPES scores by participants` characteristics, there were statistically significant differences in the average scores of five sub-components of PES depending on gender, school-level, school location, and participation in science-related activities. According to the multi-group analysis results, the difference of path coefficients by gender and school-level were statistically significant, whereas the difference of path coefficients by school location and participation were not significant. Discussed in the conclusion are the implications of this research for science education research and ways to help students` affectional achievement related with science learning.

        여성NGO의 역할과 조직의 자율성 간의 관계 연구

        본 연구는 NGO 조직의 개념적 특성으로부터 도출되는 공공성에 주목하고, 여성NGO 조직이 이러한 공공성을 확대해가는 역할과 활동목적이조직의 자율성에 따라 차이가 나타나는지를 설문조사 및 인터뷰조사 자료를통해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 여성NGO 조직의 주요 활동목적들이 인적, 재정적 자율성에 따라 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 구체적으로 인적 자율성의 경우, 취약계층 여성의 복지증진과 인권증진 활동은 상근 활동가 수, 성 평등 문화 확산 및 인식제고 활동은 상근 활동가 수와 상근 활동가의근속연수, 여성의 지위향상을 위한 활동은 월평균 회원 수, 공동체 풀뿌리여성운동은 비상근 활동가의 근속연수에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 재정적자율성의 경우, 성 평등 문화 확산 및 인식제고를 위한 활동들은 조직이외부의 간섭이나 의존 없이 자율적으로 활동할 수 있도록 이를 뒷받침하는자율적 예산규모가 중요하게 나타났으며, 이러한 조직의 자율적 예산규모중에서 여성의 경제적 자립 및 경제역량 강화, 여성의 건강권 확립을 위한활동들은 후원금 비중, 공동체 풀뿌리 여성운동은 회비 비중에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 일련의 분석들을 통해, 본 연구는 여성NGO 조직의활동들이 활동기반이 되는 조직의 자율성에 따라 확장되거나 제약받을 수있음을 경험적으로 확인하였다. This study focuses on publicness as the fundamental role and function of NGO and aims to explore the enlargement of the women NGO’s fundamental roles. This study conducts a survey and indepth interview of women NGOs in Seoul to analyze women NGO’s fundamental role and autonomy. Based on the analysis results, women NGOs pursue the publicness role through support activities for vulnerable social group and encourage the volunteerism of women through educational training program. However, lack of human and financial resources are challenges to the women NGO’s fundamental activities. In conclusion, this study suggests women NGO’s autonomy influence on women NGO’s fundamental roles.

        규슈 지명의 어원에 대한 고찰

        본고는 지리적으로 가까운 한국과 일본의 문화 교류에 대해 지명을 중심으로 살펴본다. 먼저 국호의 어원에 대한 선행연구를 검토하면서 지명에 대한 논점을 정리한다. 규슈의 북부는 후쿠오카, 사가, 나가사키를 중심으로 하고 남부는 미야자키와 가고시마에 초점을 맞추어 논의를 진행한다. 본고에서는 고마, 고라이, 구다라, 시라기, 가라, 가락국, 가야, 조선의 어원에 대한 논쟁에 대해 검토하였다. 이것이 규슈 지역의 명칭에 어떤 형태로 남아 있는지에 대해 선행연구, 사전, 신문 기사 등을 분석하였다. 지명은 한자의 음과 훈을 빌려 풀이하는 차음, 차훈 방식이 주를 이루고 있다. 그러나 경우에 따라서는 이 두 가지 방식이 동시에 사용된 어휘도 찾아볼 수 있었다. 고대 국가명은 현존하는 지명 이외에도 유적지, 유물 등에도 남아 있었고 행정구역의 개편 등에 의해 현재는 소실되었지만 현지 주민에게는 여전히 익숙한 지명으로 남아 있는 경우도 있다. 실례 분석을 위해 가라, 가야, 고마, 고우리, 고라이, 구시, 다타라, 무라, 바루, 세후리, 수구, 와지로, 후레 등의 어원에 대해 살펴본다. 본고는 한국과 일본이 각자의 문명 전환기에 상대방에게 매개자로서 중요한 역할을 해왔다고 본다. 근대에는 일본이 서구 문명의 매개자였다면 고대와 중세에는 한국이 그 역할을 했다고 볼 수 있다. 규슈 지명에 남아 있는 한일 교류의 발자취가 당대뿐만 아니라 현재의 우리에게 남겨준 과제에 대해서도 생각해본다. This paper aims to examine the meaning of cultural exchanges between Korea and Japan, focusing on the toponyms of Kyushu region. After briefly examining the cultural background with the etymology of the Goguryeo, Baekje, Gaya, Silla, Goryeo and Joseon. The origin of toponyms is analyzed with reference to previous studies and dialect and etymology dictionaries. This paper examines the etymology of the toponym of North and South Kyushu arear, included the name of relics or historical sites. It attempts to examine the meaning of cultural exchange between Korea and Japan, which are geographically close. In Kyushu, there are many places related to south region of Korea in ancient time. For instance, It appears directly the Chinese character of Korea in the notation on Karakunidake as 韓國岳, which spans the border between Kagoshima and Miyazaki. It’s similar in Karakuni Ujumine shrine as 韓國宇豆峯which is located around the peak of mountain Karakuni. At the same time, the toponym of Korai village on Kagoshima and Nagasaki reminds us to Goryeo(高麗), either. The brief summary of the result of analysis of the etymology is as follows. As such, it can be said that the results of cultural exchange remains in various forms in toponym. First, place names are mainly composed by sounds or meanings of chinse character, additionally there are couples of examples which is formed by sounds and meanings of Chinese characters. Second, it is analyzed the etymology of Gara, Gaya, Goma, Gouri, Gorai, Kushi, Datara, Mura, Baru, Sefuri, Sugu, Wajiro, and Fure. Third, the cultural exchange in the Kyushu region was relatively systemized in the area of Baekje and Gaya compared to other ancient countries. In additionally, forth, the migration route was mainly distributed in the coastal area because of the migration means as ships at that time. Fifth, it was meaningful migration of Korean with royal families, relatives and people who have specific skills such as a (certificated) ceramic craftsman, agriculturist, castle building engineer etc. It also considers the role of crosscultural projects and its positive effects to the future generations.
