This study examined nurses' activities concerning breast-feeding and promoting this in their work place. A questionnaire was given to 32 nurses who answered how much effort they put into breast-feeding education. The average score was 86.40 out of a possible score of 116. 1) 28.1% of nurses had experienced in-service education on breast-feeding. 2) 81.25% of nurses were involved with nursing activities related to breast-feeding. 3) 34.4% of nurses used verbal education in order to promote breast-feeding 18.75% of nurses used materials provided by companies, and 28.1% of nurses used ward protocols. 4) Promotion of breast-feeding activity by nurses was directly related with their work place. Furthermore, the study suggests that not only education about breast-feeding is needed, but the attitudes and involvement concerning breast-feeding is also needed. The study also suggests that hospital managers and nursing mangers need to be included in breast-feeding education. Secondly, the breast-feeding Specialist Program is necessary in order to promote and develop breast-feeding education programs.
사지골절 환자의 퇴원시 만족도 및 관련 요인에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study were to determine degree of satisfaction who had fracture extremities patients at discharge and it's relating factors. The results were as follows: 24.1% of the patients reported that they do not want to recommend to others this hospital. Reflecting in this finding, it is strongly requested finding out and analysing the reasons. On significant finding following analysis was unsatisfaction for hospital facilities during admission period (mean score 2.80). It shows that the convenient hospital facilities are needed for improving of patient satisfaction for example, monetary facilities, restaurant for visitors, facilities for the handicapped etc. The result of this study indicates that there were many differences of patient satisfaction for registration & admission team and cleaner team with age. Proportionately younger patients had lower satisfaction for registration & admission team and cleanliness of hospital environment. Therefore it is suggested providing full explanation to younger patients and keeping clean hospital environment. This study also showed that there were many differences of the patient satisfaction for medical service team and registration & admission team between the patient with medicare or without medicare and the automobile insurance or industrial insurance. The result was that the patient with medicare or without medicare had higher satisfaction for medical service team and registration & admission team. The reason how the patient admitted showed the difference of the patient satisfaction for registration & admission team. The patient who admitted by others had lower degree of satisfaction for registration & admission team. Therefore, in this case, it is recommended the patients who admitted by others to prepare their discharge previously for improving satisfaction because the costs of their treatment tend to increase.
Chlorination of Alcohols Using Tellurium dioxide-based Silicon tetrachloride

Tellurium dioxide reacts with silicon tetrachloride to form tellurium (Ⅳ) oxodichloride which reacts subsequently with another molecule of silicon tetrachloride to give tellurium tetrachloride eventually in methylene chloride. These in situ generated tellurium (Ⅳ) oxodichloride and tellurium tetrachloride were found to be very effective for the chlorination of a wide variety of alcohols to the corresponding chlorides. Primary, secondary and benzylic alcohols were converted into the corresponding chlorides when treated with tellurium dioxide and silicon tetrachloride at room temperature in excellent yields.
탄산칼륨 존재하에서 사염화규소를 이용한 알코올의 염소화반응

탄산칼륨 존재하에서 사염화규소는 1차, 2차, 3차 및 벤질알코올 유도체 뿐 만 아니라 시클로헥산올과 같은 고리형 알코올, 알릴 알코올등의 염소화반응에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 탄산칼륨이 사염화규소의 반응성이 큰 규소-염소 결합과 반응하여 생성될 수 있는 불안정한 중간체인 Trichlorosilyloxy carbonylchloride 혹은 최종적으로 평형농도 만큼 소량씩 생성되리라 예상되는 Phosgene은 모두 반응메카니즘적으로 알코올의 염소화반응에 관여할 수 있음을 알았다. Potassium carbonate reacts with silicon tetrachloride to form trichlorosilyloxy carbonylchloride which reacts subsequently with another molecule of silicon tetrachloride leading to phosgene eventually in chlorinated solvents. This in situ generated trichlorosilyloxy carbonylchloride or phosgene were found to be very effective for the chlorination of a wide variety of alcohols to the corresponding chlorides. Primary, secondary and benzylic alcohols were converted into corresponding chlorides when treated with silicon tetrachloride in the presence of potassium carbonate at room temperature.
Bis(trimethylsilyl)chromate : A Useful Oxidant for Dihydropyran, Styrene oxide and Benzyl ether

Chromic anhydride reacts with hexamethyldisiloxane to form bis(trimethylsilyl)chromate(BTSC). This in situ generated bis(trimethylsilyl)chromate was found to be very effective for the oxidation of linear and cyclic enol ethers, epoxides and benzyl ethers to the corresponding carbonyl compounds. These reactions are first examples of the direct conversion of enol ethers to esters or lactones using a new oxidant, bis(trimethylsilyl)chromate and the simplicity of the procedure and the high yields obtained make it useful for preparative purposes.
