Thermal brake judder caused by the high friction heat of the brake disk. Hot thermal judder makes serious problems such as to be unstability to drivers or to decrease braking force of automobile. Because thermal judder vibration makes high vibration occurrence and thermal deformation of brake disk. Therefore it Is necessary to reduce or eleminate thermal Judder phenomenon by understanding and investigation. This paper introduces the thermal deformation arising from friction heat generation in braking and proposes the FEM analysis to predict the distribution of temperature and thermal deformation. the results of the FEM analysis show the deformed shape and temperature distribution of the disk brake. The optimization is performed to minimize the thermal judder of ventilated disc brake that is induced by the thermal deformation of the disk brake.
Implant-Guided Surgery를 이용한 고정성 임플란트 보철물의 전악 수복 증례

Cone beam computerized tomography (CBCT)의 발전은 환자의 해부학적 구조를 3차원적으로 분석할 수 있게 하였다. Surgical guide는 CBCT와 CAD/CAM, 임플란트 진단 소프트웨어의 접목을 통해 미래의 보철물을 계획하고 적합한 위치에 임플란트를 식립할 수 있게 한다. Guided surgery를 통해 해부학적 구조물에 대한 침범을 최소한으로 줄일 수 있고 보다 재현성 있는 치료계획의 설정이 가능하다. 본 증례는 전악 무치악 환자에게 surgical guide를 이용하여 다수의 임플란트를 식립한 증례로 수술시간을 단축시킬 수 있었으며 임시 보철물을 미리 제작함으로써 보다 쉽게 immediate loading을 시행할 수 있었다. 환자는 개선된 안모와 저작기능에 만족하였다. The development of cone beam computerized tomography (CBCT) allows three-dimensional analysis of the patient's anatomy. The surgical guide is a combination of CBCT, computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and implant diagnostics software, which allows well planned prostheses design and ideal implant placement. Guided surgery minimizes possible anatomical damage and allows for more reproducible treatment planning. In this case, the operation time was shortened by using a surgical guide for multiple implants placement in a fully edentulous patient. Immediate loading were performed more easily using preliminary preparation of provisional prosthesis. The patient was satisfied with improved esthetics and chewing function.

We treated a patient who experienced motor weakness and sensory change on left lower ex- tremity after thoracic sympathetic ganglion block with pure alcohol. The following factors were suspected of contributing to neurologic complication: ischemia of spinal cord, infec- tion, ® re-expression and aggravation of pre-existing neurologic disease, ? improper position. Patient spontaneously recovered from neurologic complication with conservative therapy.
키틴, 키토산, 유카추출물이 오이 모잘록병의 생물학적 방제 효과 증진에 미치는 영향

To test the effect of biological control on the dampping-off (Rhizoctonia solani) of cucumber, chitin (CTN), chitosan (CSN), yucca extract (YE), and microorganism formulations [Bacillus subtilus (BIO), Trichoderma harzianum GBF-0208 (TRI), and Bacillus subtilus GB-0365 (CIL)] were applied to the cucumber seedlings in an environment-controlled chamber. Growth characteristics and the incidence of dampping-off (IDO) were investigated in the treated cucumber seedlings for 9 days after inoculation of R. solani. When treated with mixture of 1% yucca extract and 1% chitin, growth of cucumber seedlings was the highest. IDO decreased less than 50% in the plants treated with the mixture of chitin, chitosan, and yucca extract, while IDO was over 50% in the single treatment of chitin, chitosan, and yucca extract. Especially, yucca extract decreased IDO significantly. IDOs were 22.2% in the plants treated with BIO+YE and 25% with CIL+YE, suggesting the synergistic effect of YE with BIO and CIL. All these results indicated that chitin, chitosan, and yucca extract showed a bio-control effect against the cucumber dampping-off R. solani disease and the application of the microorganism formulations together with them was also proven the synergistic effect on controlling the cucumber dampping-off R. solani disease.
