        In this paper presents a Construction of Train control System for Demonstration line of Urban Maglev Program. In the construction of demonstration line for Urban Maglev Program, Korea Rail Network Authority is participating under its Research & Development, and as for the demonstration line's train control system is under progress for manufacture-design currently through the contract with the consortium of Daewoo Engineering and SK C&C on May 11, 2009. Particularly, this train control system purchasing project is the one aiming for the nation's first localization by domestic technology group led by domestic companies other than the one in which manufacturing and delivery of goods are done led by foreign companies. It is expected that this project could play a great role in launching into the projects at home and abroad, expecially overseas expansion by completely localizing the train control system through this demonstration line for Urban Maglev Program.

        韓國 傳統甕器에 있어서 天然釉藥의 開發을 위한 體系的인 分析 硏究

        Korean traditional Onggi, a unique type of Korean pottery, is a tangible heritag e that is in an in separable relationship with th e tradi tional eating habit of Koreans in th e agricultural culture. In addition, tradition al Onggi. which represents th e sentiment of common people, has ev olved into popul ar practica l container s th at are the most Korean -like and greate st everyday earthe nware , revealin g the humble mind of our ancestors. The representati ve cha racteris tic of our dietary habit lies in th e development of fermented food . We eat th ese kinds of food everyday . Havin g been developed to sto re th ese kinds of food, Onggi had tak en an important part of peoples life until a short while ago. Belonging to ea rthe nware according to the academic clas sification of ceramic indu strial art s, Onggi is made at a lower burning temperature th an general high quality pottery is and the sizes of clay part icles are uneve n. Therefore, it is air-permeable, so is commonly said to breathe. What is more, because it uses as glaze ash that is harmless to the human body, it is environmen t-friendly food vessels good for man. Therefore, the prese nt st udy aimed at recogni zing the importance of Onggi as tr aditional everyday vessels for common people and defining the concept, systematic theory and cultural identit y of Korean tra ditional Onggi through academic research to suggest a right direc tion for grafting traditional Onggi into contempora ry life. It is considered necessary to develop env ironment -friendly vessels suitable for modern life spaces and dietary habits. That is, gradually disappear ing traditional Onggi must be s tudied in a positive direction and its adva ntages be taken in sc ientific ways. For this purpose. the present resea rcher analy zed the chemical composition and ingredient proportion of each material based on the traditional method of manu facturing glaze commonly used in existing traditional Onggi potte ries and prepared a table of the mixture rat io of each material. Then it conducted positive research through sys tematic experiments on plastic deformation by clay according to the mixtu re rat ios and proposed the most reasonable and idea l natural glaze for Onggi.

        By the result of efforts for the technology development of G7 trainset, the technology of domestic high-speed train KTX-Ⅱ has lately been put to practical use while a forward countries of railway, which have their own developing ability of high-speed train, are competing against each other for the development of faster high-speed train system. Japan has been commissioning of FASTECH 360 which was developed in June 2005. Also France and Germany have been commissioning of next generation high-speed train such as AGV and ICE-3, developed basing on technology of their existing high-speed train system(TGV and ICE), its maximum commercial running speed is 360kph, and adopted multiple unit system. For the development of technology of domestic high-speed train and enhancement of national technology competitive power, HEMU (High-speed Electrical Multiple Unit) development project has been carried out as a national R&D project from last August. For the executing of HEMU"s maximum speed test, we have investigated the high speed line characteristics (i.e. radius of curvature, gradient, cant etc.) of Seoul-Pusan line and Honam line which is under construction. We‘d like to examine a study of condition for the best HEMU T&C line considering HEMU"s characteristics (i.e. acceleration, deceleration etc.) and its interface with infrastructure in this paper.

        Photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue and acetaldehyde by TiO2/glaze coated porous red clay tile

        Nanosized TiO2 sol synthesized by sol-gel method was successfully coated on the porous red clay tile (PRC tile) with micrometer sized pores. PRC tile was first coated with a low-firing glaze (glaze-coated PRC tile) and then TiO2 sol was coated on the glaze layer. A low-fired glaze was prepared at various blending ratios with frit and feldspar, and a blending ratio glazed at 700 oC was selected as an optimum condition. Then TiO2 sol synthesized from TTIP was dip-coated on the glazed layer (TiO2/glaze-coated PRC tile), and it was calcined again at 500 oC. Here, these optimum calcination temperatures were selected to derive a strong bonding by a partial sintering between TiO2 sol particles and glaze layer. Photocatalytic activity on the TiO2/glaze-coated PRC tile was evaluated by the extent of photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue and acetaldehyde. Methylene blue with the high concentration of 150 mg/l on the surface of TiO2/glaze-coated PRC tile was almost photodegraded within 5 hours under the condition of average UV intensity of 0.275 mW/cm2, while no photodegradation reaction of methylene blue occurred on the glaze-coated PRC tile without TiO2. Another photocatalytic activity was also evaluated by measuring the extent of photocatalytic degradation of gaseous acetaldehyde. The photodegradation efficiency in TiO2/glaze-coated PRC tile showed about 77% photocatalytic degradation of acetaldehyde from 45,480 mg/l to 10,536 mg/l after the UV irradiation of 14 hours, but only about 16% in the case of the glaze-coated PRC tile.

      • 개성공업 지구 법제 정비 사업의 현황, 의의 및 과제

        2002년 남북정상회담을 계기로 남북간의 경제협력이 본격화 되고 있다. 그 동안 남북 철도, 도로 연결 및 금강산관광사업 등이 꾸준히 추진되어 왔으며, 2004년부터 개성공업지구 개발사업이 본격적으로 추진되고 있다. 통일신라후 후삼국의 혼란을 극복하고 발해의 유민을 받아들여 민족의 통일을 이루었던 고려는 외세의 힘을 빌리지 않는 자주적인 통일국가로서, 단일민족국가의 기틀을 마련하고 민족문화의 기반을 다져나가면서 한치 앞도 분간하기 어려운 국제정세 속에서 뛰어난 현실감각으로 세계에 맞선 국가였다. 이러한 고려의 옛 수도인 개성에 남과 북이 힘을 합쳐 경제공업지구를 개발하고 있다는 점은 시사하는 바가 크다고 할 것이다. 개성공업지구의 성공은 한반도에서 평화와 번영의 시대를 열어 온 겨레의 염원인 통일을 한 걸음 앞당길 것이다. 개성공업지구의 의의, 개발계획, 투자여건, 개발에 따른 기대이익, 개발현황등은 개성 공업지구관리위원회 김기혁 부장님의 앞선 발표에서 다루었다. 여기서는 개성공업지구를 둘러싼 제반 법률적 환경의 현황에 대해 살펴보고, 개성공업지구를 둘러싼 법제정비사업의 의의 및 법제정비사업의 향후 과제에 대해 살펴보고자 한다(개성에서 글을 작성하는 이유로 정식 논문 형식을 갖추지 못하게 됨을 양해해주시기 바랍니다). Gaeseong Industrial Complex, inter-Korean cooperation project area, has various laws and policies to ensure stable development of this zone. The laws regarding operation of GIC zone can categorized into inter-Korean agreements, South Korean laws, North Korean laws and international laws according to subjects of laws. While the previous cooperation projects were just about simple product trading, the GIC project will make two Koreas establish relations in all respects. Thus there are possibilities that unexpected legal problems will emerge because of different laws and systems of two Koreas, and inter-Korean agreements, North Korean laws(Gaeseong Industrial Zone Act) and South Korean laws will be applied to the GIC zone, conflicting and harmonizing with one another. The vital criteria for success of the GIC are building material infrastructure and arranging overall legal system regarding the zone. Because the economic system with elements of market economy like property ownership, independently operating companies, and taxation system will be realized within the GIC, laws and institutions regarding the GIC will be arranged considering interchangeability with South Korean laws and the characteristics of the zone. The arrangement of system and its operation will suggest the implication to study and development of inter-Korean legal integration.
