The purposes of this study is to discuss and analyze the effect on the recovery from cut in sciatic nerve. This study used 9 weeks male rats of Sprague-Dawley family. Rat in groups 4 were treated with pulsed therapeutic ultrasound for 3 minutes. 3 times weekly at 3MHz respectively (intensity; $0.2W/cm^2,\;0.5W/Cm^2,\;10W/cm^2$); rat in group 1 received placebo ultrasound. In addition, changes of serum aspartate amino-transferase(AST) and creatine phosphokinase(CPK) levels were also demonstrated with diameter of individual muscle fasciculate and number of muscle fiber in each of three types of muscles located in gastrocnemius, soles. The results of comparing the changes in groups are as follows; 1. We found out that hypertrophic epineurium was present in sciatic nerve injured ultrasound treatment of groups. 2. In the gastrocnemius morphological investigation of the group I (control group), severe muscle atrophy were observed at the 7th days of the sciatic nerve injury. however, muscle atrophy of the group IV ($1.0W/cm^2$) were slightly recovered at the 14th days after treatment ultrasound. At the 28th days, muscular fibers were formed in polygon and were significantly recovered. 3. C-fos immunoreactive of the group II ($0.2W/cm^2$), III ($0.5W/cm^2$) were remarkably increased at the 1th day after treatment of ultrasound. Group IV were markedly deceased. 4. Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor(BDNF) immunoreactive of the group II, III were increased after 7 days of the sciatic nerve injury. Group IV were markedly increased from 14th days to 28th days after treatment of ultrasound. 5. A significant increase of serum AST levels were demonstrated in control group. However, serum AST levels of massage groups were significantly decreased compared to that of control group in followed order ; ($0.2W/cm^2<0.5W/cm^2<1.0W/cm^2$). 6. A significant increase of serum CK levels were demonstrated in control of group. However, serum CK levels of massage groups were significantly decreased compared to that of control group in followed order ; ($0.2W/cm^2<0.5W/cm^2<1.0W/cm^2$). The above results suggest that ultrasound treatment after peripheral nerve injury might reduce noxious stimuli, facilitate nerve recovery and effective in the functional improvement delaying muscle atrophy or degeneration.
트레드밀 운동이 척수손상 백서의 운동기능 회복에 미치는 효과

Purpose: This study was designed to investigate the effects of treadmill exercise on functional recovery after rat with experimental SCI. Methods: SCI was induced by the NYU-spinal cord impactor(NYU, USA) dropped a weight of 10 gm after laminectomy. Experimental groups were divided into the Group I (normal), Group II (control) and Group III(treadmill exercise). After 2 days of the operation, 24 rats(group II, III) were trained to walk on treadmill for 21 days twice/day, 15 min/session. After operation, rats were tested at modified Tarlov scale at 1, 2, 3, 4 days with divided into 2 groups, and Motor behavior test(BBB locomotor rating scale, Grid walking test, Narrow beam crossing test, Modified inclined plane test) was examined at 1, 3, 7, 14 and 21 days. Histopathological study were performed at 1. 3, 7, 14 and 21 days by H&E, Luxol Fast Blue staining were same times. Results: After SCI an improvement of motor behavior was shown group II, III. The motor behavior test of group Ill showed considerable improvement until 14 days. Conclusion: These results suggest that treadmill exercise treatment can playa role in facilitating recovery of locomotion following spinal cord injury.

컴퓨터기반 협동학습(CSCL)은 컴퓨터를 기반으로 학습자들이 공동체를 형성하고 상호협력관계를 통하여 학습하는 하나의 교수법이다. 이러한 CSCL 환경에서 학습자들이 어떤 학습 주제에 관한 프로젝트를 수행하기 위해서는 학습자 서로간의 생각과 정보를 효과적으로 교환하는 것이 요구된다. 이를 위해서는 그 주제에 속하는 개념들에 대한 용어들이 표준화 되어지고, 개념들 간의 관련성 및 제약성에 대한 정보들이 미리 정의되어 알려져 있어야만 한다. 그런데, 그러한 정보들을 학습자들이 일일이 파악하기란 매우 힘든 일이다. 이러한 문제는 온톨로지 기술을 이용하여 기계로 하여금 그러한 정보들을 이해하여 처리할 수 있도록 함으로써 해결할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 CAD 분야에서 학습자들이 어떠한 제품을 설계하기 위한 프로젝트를 수행시 서로간의 정보와 의견을 효과적으로 교환함으로써 프로젝트를 보다 효율적으로 수행할 수 있도록 하기 위해 공동의 학습공간을 지원하고 제품 설계에 대한 온톨로지를 구성하여 이를 이용하는 것을 제안한다. Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning is a pedagogical approach in which learners construct communities using a computer or through the Internet and conduct learning via social interaction among themselves. In order for learners to conduct a project involving a subject under study, it is necessary for the students to exchange their thoughts and information effectively. To do this, the terms of learning concepts should be standardized and the relationships and restrictions among the learning concepts should be defined in advance. However, it would likely be very difficult for learners to grasp these terms in detail. This problem can be resolved with ontology technology in which a machine understands the information and efficiently processes it. Therefore, this paper proposes an approach that constructs a type of ontology as an assembly design and uses it for collaborative learning. In addition, it supports a collaborative learning interface which allows learners to conduct their project efficiently by interchanging their options and knowledge as they learn.

The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze effect of needle transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation with the change of immunohistochemistry method through the change of c-fos in spinal dorsal horn(pre, 4, 8, 12 and 24h). An experimental arthritis induced in 100 Sprauge-Dawley rats with a mixture 3% carrageenan and 3% kaolin(0.1 ㎖ in sterile saline) into the joint cavity of one knee. Each group was randomly divided into four groups; Group Ⅰ : control group, Group Ⅱ : arthritic limb-induced group, Group Ⅲ : Needle TENS application on ipsilateral arthritic limb(2 Hz, 200 μs, 20 min) group, Group IV : Needle TENS application on contralateral arthritic limb(2 Hz, 200 μs, 20 min) group. The results of this study were as follows: 1. In naked eyes opinion, c-fos immunoreactive positive neurons are increased markedly 4 hours after arthritis limb-induced in Rexed Ⅰ, Ⅱ of superficial dorsal horn. Group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ are more decreased than Group Ⅱ at 8 hours after arthritis limb-induced. 2. The c-fos immunoreactive positive neurons after application needle like transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation on arthritic limb-induced model group are more decreased than only arthritic limb-induced group. 3. The number of c-fos immunoreactive positive neurons in superficial dorsal horn was decreased markedly 4 hours after arthritis limb-induced. Group Ⅲ and group N are more decreased than Group Ⅱ at 8 hours after arthritis limb-induced(p<0.001). Specially Group Ⅲ showed the most significantly effect at 8 hours(p<0.01). The above results suggest that needle transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation effectively reduced in arthritic limb-induced model. In addition, greatly decreased the number of c-fos neurons explains needle transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation application on ipsilateral arthritic limb is more effective than that on contralateral arthritic limb.
