        다발성골수종 환자에서 B형간염에 면역이 있는 공여자로부터 동종조혈모세포 이식 후 발생한 B형간염의 역혈청전환 1예

        A 52-yr-old male with multiple myeloma underwent autologous stem cell transplantation in June 2002. In August 2004, the multiple myeloma had recurred. The patient received allogenic stem cell transplantation in September 2005. Before undergoing transplantation, the presence of HBsAb and the absence of HBsAg were noted. The patient underwent allogenic peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (PBSCT) from a sibling donor who was hepatitis surface antibody (HBsAb) positive and hepatitis surface antigen (HBsAg) negative. Nineteen months after the PBSCT, the liver function tests showed elevation of the aminotransferases. The patient was HBsAg positive and HBsAb negative. The liver biopsy specimen revealed hepatitis. The reactivation of a hepatitis B virus infection, in a hepatitisB immune patient, referred to as reverse seroconversion, is a rare complication of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

      • 창업생태계 활성화를 위한 혁신플랫폼의 활용전략

        최근 들어 창조경제의 추진동력으로서 창업생태계에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 하지만 플랫폼의 관점에서 창업생태계를 활성화하는 시도는 아직 본격화되지 않고 있다. 이에 본고에서는 보육, 자금, 혁신과 같이 창업생태계가 지향해야 할 주요 기능별 플랫폼을 살펴보고 그 중 혁신플랫폼을 중심으로 연구를 수행하였다. 창업기업에게 혁신의 기회를 제공하고 빠른 제품개발과 실행을 지원하는 혁신플랫폼을 유형화하였으며, 나아가 국내 외 운영사례 분석을 통해 창업생태계의 활성화를 지원하고자 하였다.

        실외 실험적 온난화 및 강수 처리에 따른 소나무와 낙엽송 유묘의 초기 생장 특성

        본 연구는 기후변화와 관련하여 양묘과정에서 온도와 강수 변화에 따른 주요 침엽수의 생존 및 생장 특성 변화를 알아보고자 수행하였다. 소나무와 낙엽송 노지묘(1-0)를 대상으로 대조구 기준 3℃의 온도를 상승시키거나 ±40%의 강수를 조절한 6처리 생육환경[온도 2처리(대조: TC, 증가: TW) × 강수 3처리(대조: PC, 감소: PD, 증가: PI)] 실외 실험구를 조성하였으며, 생존율, 근원경, 묘고, 물질생산량 및 묘목품질지수 변화를 조사하여 이원분산분석을 수행하였다. 소나무는 온도와 강수 처리에 따른 생존율 차이가 없었지만, 강수가 증가할수록 묘목품질지수가 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 낙엽송은 온도상승과 강수 감소에 따라 고사율이 증가하였으며, 묘목품질지수는 두 요인 간 상호작용을 보이면서 온도대조-강수증가 처리구에서 가장 낮게 나타났다. 따라서 양묘과정에서 소나무는 강수 증가, 낙엽송은 온도 증가 또는 강수 감소에서 낮은 묘목 생산량과 품질이 예상되며, 기후변화에 따른 두 수종의 특이적 민감도를 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 지구온난화와 가뭄·폭우 등의 강수 변화에 의해 수종별 묘목 생존과 품질의 변화가 예상되기 때문에 각 수종의 생육 반응 특성에 따른 적합한 양묘시업 대응 전략이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. This study aimed to investigate the effects of climate change on the survival and growth performance of Pinus densiflora and Larix kaempferi seedlings using open-field experimental warming and precipitation manipulation. We measured the survival rate, root-collar diameter, and height, and then calculated the seedling quality index (SQI) of 2-year-old seedlings under 6 treatments [2 temperatures (TC: Control; TW: Warming) × 3 precipitation manipulations (PC: Control; PD: Decreased; PI: Increased)] and performed a two-way ANOVA to test for differences.The air temperature of the warming plots was 3°C higher than that of the control plots, while the precipitation manipulation plots received ±40% of the precipitation received by the control plots. Temperature and precipitation treatments did not significantly affect the survival rate of P. densiflora; however, the SQI of P. densifloradecreased with increasing precipitation. In contrast, the mortality rate of L. kaempferi increased with increasing temperature and decreasing precipitation. Furthermore, in L. kaempferi, TC × PI treatment resulted in the lowest SQI with a significant interaction effect observed between the two factors. In summary, low seedling production and quality should be expected in P. densiflora as precipitation increases and in L. kaempferi as temperature increases or precipitation decreases. These results indicate species-specific sensitivities to climate change of two plant species at the nursery stage. With the occurrence of global warming, the frequencies of drought and heavy rainfall events are increased, and this could affect the survival and seedling quality of tree species. Therefore, it is necessary to improve nursery techniques by establishing new adaptation strategies based on species-specific growth performance responses. 1

        한국 첩포 검사의 표준항원 양성률에 대한 분석 및 문헌고찰

        Background: Korean standard series (KSS) have not changed for 20 years. Moreover, the Korea Food and Drug Administration has suspended import licensing of Cosmetic series (Chemotechnique<sup>Ⓡ</sup>). Objective: To analyze trends in the positive rates of allergens in patch test using KSS and present a literature review on the comparison of the results those of European baseline series (EBS) and North American Contact Dermatitis Group (NACDG) screening series. Methods: Epidemiologic findings and the positive rate of KSS allergens were analyzed from patients who visited the Department of Dermatology in Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital between 1998 and 2018. Literature reviews were conducted on the comparison of the results with those of the 2015∼2016 NACDG, 2013∼2014 ESSCA, and standard antigens in K-camp. Results: The positive rates of KSS allergens from 126 patients in 2018 were compared with those from 184 patients during 1998 to 2007. The top 3 allergens in the two study periods were common; nickel sulfate, cobalt chloride, and potassium dichromate. Remarkably, the positive rates for balsam of Peru and paraben mix increased from 7.1% to 17.5% and from 2.7% to 7.9%, respectively. As compared with the results of NACDG standard series and EBS, KSS lacked fragrance and cosmetic series of allergens, especially fragrance mix II, methyldibromoglutaronitrile, and methylisothiazolinone, and epoxy series of allergens. Conclusion: Our results, especially the increasing trends of balsam of Peru and paraben mix, would be further confirmed in a multicenter study. Additionally, in view of the increase in fragrance and preservative allergens, KSS would need the addition of related allergens. (Korean J Dermatol 2020;58(6):371∼381)

        광릉숲 천연활엽수림의 수종별 낙엽 현상과 질소 재전류 특성

        The seasonality of leaf fall has important implications for understanding the response of trees’ phenology to climate change. In this study, we quantified the leaf fall pattern with a model to estimate the timing and speed of leaf litter according to species and considered the nutrient use strategy of canopy species. In the autumns of 2015 and 2016, leaf litter was collected periodically using 36 litter-traps from the deciduous forests in Gwangneung and sorted by species. The seasonal leaf fall pattern was estimated using the non-linear regression model of Dixon. Additionally, the resorption rate was calculated by analyzing the nitrogen concentration of the leaf litter at each collection time. The leaf litter generally began in early October and ended in mid-November depending on the species. At the peak time (T50) of leaf fall, on average, Carpinus laxiflora was first, and Quercus serrata was last. The rate of leaf fall was fastest (18.6 days) for Sorbus alnifolia in 2016 and slowest (40.8 days) for C. cordata in 2015. The nitrogen resorption rates at T50 were 0.45% for Q. serrata and 0.48% for C. laxiflora, and the resorption rate in 2015 with less precipitation was higher than in 2016. Since falling of leaf litter is affected by environmental factors such as temperature, precipitation, photoperiod, and CO2 during the period attached foliage, the leaf fall pattern and nitrogen resorption differed year by year depending on the species. If we quantify the fall phenomena of deciduous trees and analyze them according to various conditions, we can predict whether the changes in leaf fall timing and speed due to climate change will prolong or shorten the growth period of trees. In addition, it may be possible to consider how this affects their nutrient use strategy. 본 연구에서는 낙엽 현상을 정량화하는 모델을 적용하여 광릉숲 천연활엽수림에서 수종에 따른 낙엽의 시기와 속도를 추정하고, 이에 따른 상층 수종의 양분 이용특성을 검토하였다. 낙엽은 2015년과 2016년의 가을에 36개의 낙엽수거망을 이용해 주기적으로 수집하였으며, 5개 수종으로 분류하여 측정한 건중량을 딕슨의 모델에 적용했다. 또한 수집시기마다 낙엽의 질소농도를 분석하여 재전류율을 산출하였다. 광릉숲의 낙엽은 10월 초에 시작하여 11월 중순까지 떨어졌는데, 수종에 따라 두 해에 다른 경향을 보였다. 평균적으로 낙엽이 절정인 시기는 상층의 서어나무가 먼저, 졸참나무가 가장 늦게 나타났고, 낙엽의 속도는 팥배나무가 최소 18.6일 동안 빠르게, 까치박달이 최대 40.8일 동안 천천히 나타났다. 한편 낙엽이 절정일 때 상층 수종의 질소 재전류율은 졸참나무 평균 0.45%, 서어나무 평균 0.48%로 나타났으며, 졸참나무의 재전류율은 강수량이 적었던 2015년에 높게 나타났다. 잎은 달려있던 기간의 기온, 강수량, 광주기, CO2 등의 환경변화에 영향을 받아 탈락되므로 낙엽 현상과 재전류율은 수종에 따라 연간 다른 경향의 차이를 보였다. 향후 낙엽수들의 계절현상을 정량화하고 여러 조건에 따라 비교⋅분석 한다면 기후변화에 의한 낙엽 시기와 속도의 조절이 수목의 생육 기간을 연장 혹은 단축할 지를 예측하고, 이것이 양분이용특성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 구명할 수 있을 것이다.

        잔류 원시 후각동맥의 자기공명 및 전산화단층촬영 혈관조영술 소견: 한국인에서의 빈도와 동맥류와의 연관성

        Purpose: Japanese data indicates an incidence of persistent primitive olfactory artery (PPOA) of 0.14%. We studied the incidence of PPOA and associated cerebral vascular variation or anomalies in Korea. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively reviewed cranial magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) and computed tomography angiography (CTA) images of a total of 9841 patients of our institution. The diagnostic criterion of PPOA is extreme anterioinferior course of the proximal anterior cerebral artery, with a hairpin turn of the lateral projection. Results: We found 29 cases (0.29%) with PPOA. The PPOA location was on the left in 19 cases, bilateral in 3 cases, and on the right in 7 cases. An aneurysm was found at the hairpin turn in 2 patients. There were aneurysms in other sites in 3 cases. There were hypoplasia of anterior cerebral artery in 3 cases, and fenestration of intracranial artery in 1 case. Conclusion: In Korean populations, the incidence of PPOA found in MRA and CTA was twice as high as that shown in the previous Japanese data. Within Korea, left side laterality is more common than right side or bilalterality. Aneurysmal dilatations at the hairpin turning point and aneurysms at other sites were found, and other vascular variations were observed in several cases.
