Breast-feeding anaphylaxis is reported to be an extremely rare but potentially life-threatening condition. We report a 32-year-old woman who experienced recurrent anaphylaxis associated with breast-feeding. Generalized urticaria and angioedema accompanied by syncope were recurrent immediately after breast-feeding or milk letdown. Skin prick tests for the common food panel were all negative. UniCAP tests were performed to see if specific IgE to milk is present in her serum and the results was found to be negative. After weaning, the symptoms were completely resolved and never recurred. Based on her clinical course, it is believed that she had a breast-feeding anaphylaxis. (Korean J Asthma Allergy Clin Immunol 2011;31:55-58)

The lower exoskeleton uses the FSR sensor to determine when to support the driving force, and determines the control timing. However, the FSR sensor increases the weight and volume of the instrument. In this paper proposes an algorithm that determines the gait cycle through the pelvic angle for smooth control of the hip exoskeleton without the FSR sensor. In order to verify the proposed algorithm, a level walking test was conducted, and through the experiment, it was shown that the ground contact required section can be set without detecting an FSR sensor.

Intravenous infusion therapy is one of the necessary treatments for many patients and is a major part of nursing practice. However, due to the lack of nursing staff, patient management if difficult and errors related to the drug infusion rate are frequent, leading to frequent medical accidents. This paper aims to administer sap more safely and reduce the burden of nursing work. We used load cell, Wi-Fi and peristaltic pumps to control drug infusion rate and fluid consumption.

화장품에 사용되는 미분체의 혼합특성을 알기 위하여 화장품용 미분체 혼합기인 ribbon mixer, powder mixer micropulverizer, fine impact mill에 미립자, 구상 및 판상의 형태를 가진 bulk powders를 혼합시간을 변화 시키면서 혼합하는 실험을 하였다. 혼합분체의 혼합정도를 평가하기 위하여 산화철을 tracer로 사용하였으며, 원료 및 혼합물의 particle size distribution, specific surface area, density 및 표면색상을 측정하였다. 미분체 혼합물의 혼합시간과 표면색상변화, 입도분포 및 비표면적과의 사이에 대수적 1차 상관관계가 성립되었고, 색상의 변화로부터 혼합정도를 평가할 수 있는 간단한 식을 도출하였다. 사용된 혼합기에 대해 혼합기구별 modelling과 혼합에 따른 입도 분포 및 비표면적의 변화로부터 혼합기 impellar tip에서의 linear velocity별 혼합기는 대류혼합, 전단혼합 및 확산혼합으로 분류되었다. The cosmetic fine powders were mixed with variation of mixing time(s) in the mixers (ribbon mixer, powder mixer, micropulverizer and fine impact mill). The powders were nixed with small amount of ferric oxide as tracer. The mixed powders ere measured the particle size distribution, specific surface area and surface color with mixing time (s). The color variation, particle size distribution and specific surface area of the mixed powder exist a relationship with mining time(s) that can be expressed as mathematical equations to show the degree of the mixing of the powder mixture. The linear velocity of the impellar tip is the main factor contributing to he mixing efficiency of the mixers un this study. According to the linear velocity, he mixers used are devieded as convection mixing (ribbon mixer), sclera mixing powder mixer) and diffusion mixing (micropulverizer/fine impact mill).
반하 추출물이 B-16 마우스 흑색종 세포의 멜라닌 생성과 타이로시네이즈 mRNA양에 미치는 영향

피부 내에서의 멜라닌 색소의 생성은 태양광에 존재하는 유해한 자외선으로부터 생체를 보호하는 중요한 방어 수단으로 여겨지고 있다. 타이로시네이즈(tyrosinase, EC 1.14.18.1)라는 효소가 이러한 멜라닌의 합성 과정에 있어서 매우 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 이러한 이유로 피부의 색소생성을 조절하는 많은 연구의 대부분이 타이로시네이즈의 효소적 조절에 초점이 맞추어져 왔다. 본 연구자들은 전통 한약재인 반하(Pinelliae temate B.)의 물 추출물이 비록 타이로시 네이즈에 대한 저해 작용은 없으나 배양된 B-16 마우스 흑색종 세포의 멜라닌 생성을 억제한다는 것을 발견하였다. 본 연구자들은 또한 반하 추출물이 배양된 세포의 타이로시네이즈 효소 활성을 낮춘다는 사실도 발견하였다. 이러한 반하 추출물의 작용 기작을 밝혀 내기 위하여 반하 추출물이 B-16 마우스 흑색종 세포의 타이로시네이즈 mRNA 양에 미치는 영향에 대하여 reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) 기법을 이용, 연구를 수행 하였다. 연구 결과 반하추출물은 타이로시네이즈 mRNA 의 양을 용량 의존적인 경향으로 감소시킴이 밝혀졌다. 즉, 반하추출물을 2mg/㎖및 5mg/㎖ 처리시 각각 20%와 44%의 mRNA 양의 감소가 관찰 되었다. 이러한 결과는 반하 추출물이 타이로시네이즈 mRNA의 전사 조절을 통하여 그 미백효과를 발휘한다는 것을 의미한다. Melanin pigmentation in human skin is a major defense mechanism against ultraviolet light of the sun. Tyrosinase(EC 1.14.18.1) plays a key role in the biosynthesis of melanin. This is why much researches have been focused on its regulation in controlling the epidermal melanization. We have found that the water-extract of Banha(Pinelliae temate B.),an oriental medicinal plant, has no tyrosinase inhibitory activity, but does inhibit the melanin biosynthesis in B16 mouse melanoma cells. We also found that Banha extract lowers the tyrosinase activity in cultured cells. To elucidate the action mechanism of Banha extract we have investigated its effect on the tyrosinase mRNA level using reverse transcription- polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) technique. It was revealed that Banha extract reduced the tyrosinase mRNA level in a dose dependent manner; when B16 mouse melanoma cells were cultured with 2mg/ml and 5mg/ml of Banha extract, there were 20% and 44% decrease in tyrosinase mRNA level, respectively. These data suggest that the Banha extract exerts its melanogenic inhibitoiy effect through the transcriptional regulation of tyrosinase mRNA.

As raw materials, the inorganic pigments, such as mica, talc and some metal oxides were mainly used in Make-Up cosmetics. Some other polymerics, organics and functional pigments were also used to cope with the various consumer`s demends. Recently, excellent sliding, adhensiveness, coverture and UV cutting properties were strongly required in Make-Up cosmetics. According to these demends, it needs to understand the functional properties of each pigment and consider the proper use for some purpose. And so, this report introduce the properties of inorganics, polymerics and functional pigments and their application fields for Make-Up cosmetics.
