볼트로 체결되어 있는 구조물에서 볼트에 가해지는 체결 토오크에 따라 결합 접촉면의 부재 내부에 발생하는 응력 분포변화를 유한 요소해를 이용하여 확인하였다. 또한 유한 요소해석과 진동 실험을 통하여 체결 토오크에 따른 결합 강성을 고찰하고 반정점각의 변화를 규명하였다. 결합부의 체결력이 증가함에 따라서 구조물의 고유 진동수는 증가하다가 일정한 값에 수렴한다. 이는 결합부의 강성이 체결력 증가와 함께 변화하고 있음을 의미한다. 체결력의 증가와 함께 반정점각(α)이 정적인 유한요소 해석과 동적 실험을 통해서 같이 증가함을 알 수 있다. The member stiffness in a bolted connection has a direct influence upon safe design with regards to both static and fatigue loading. Osgood and Mischke used a constant half-apex angle(α=30˚, 45˚) to obtain the member stiffness in a bolted connection. They didn't consider the stiffness variation under the clamping torque. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between the clamping torque variation and the joint stiffness in a bolted connection. The dynamic experiment and the finite element method are performed. The finite element method uses spring elements for a bolted connection considering clamping torque variation. The results shows that the structures with bolted joints converge to a constant frequency according to the increase of clamping torque. The half-apex angle changes as the clamping torque.

The requirements of engine mount are basically to support the powertrain to body structure, to minimize a vibration transferring from engine to the powertrain caused by sudden starting and braking of vehicle. In general, to minimize noise and vibration levels requires a soft mounting system, while to maintain engine movement control requires a stiff mounting system for the auto-motive application. In this study, a hydraulic engine mount is investigated so as to examine its dynamic behaviour and function considering a stiffness and loss coefficient. Experiments are also performed to look into the damping characteristics in lower and higher frequency range when installing these mounts on a car by dynamic servo hydraulic tester.

The twin-impulse wave discharged from two parallel tubes is investigated to see flow patterns, compared with the single impulse wave. In the present study, the merging phenomena and propagation characteristics of the impulse waves are investigated by experiment and numerical computation. The Harten-Yee's total variation diminishing scheme is used to solve the unsteady, two-dimensional, compressible, Euler equations. The Mach number Ms of incident shock wave is lower than 1.5 and the distance between the tubes is between 1.2 and 4.0. In the shock tube experiment, the twin impulse waves are visualized by a Schlieren optical system in order to validate the computational result. It is shown that on the symmetric axis between two parallel tubes, the peak pressure produced by the twin impulse waves and its location strongly depend upon the tube distance and the incident shock Mach number, Ms. The predicted Schlieren images show a good agreement with the measured twin-impulse wave.

N/A This study was conducted to investigate the effect of influent concentrations in SBR process using activated algae. Modified McKinney equation was applied to this study for understanding of results. Influent concentrations affect the active biomass(MaA, MaB) and Algae/Bacteria ratio. The initial Algae/Bacteria ratio of 1.0 were changed to 2.78, 2.18, 1.29 and 0.97 at Case 1(300/50/10), Case 2(300/100/10), Case 3(600/50/10), Case 4(600/100/10), respectively. COD removal efficiency were obtained above 93%, T-N removal efficiency were 49.85% and T-P removal efficiency were 12~67% without aeration, respectively. The results showed that modified McKinney equation application was useful for interpreting the activated algae processes. The results of modified McKinney equation indicated that the fraction of nitrogen removed by denitrification or stripping was increased to the extend of 75.1% with increasing CODcr. And the fraction of phosphorus removal by precipitation was increased to the extend of 77.4% with increasing CODcr.

항만이나 공항의 소유구조에 대한 효율성 분석은 지금까지 서로 엇갈리는 결과를 제시하고 있다. 즉, 민영화 또는 공영화로 인한 효율성 효과가 자료 또는 분석 방법에 따라서 일치된 결과를 보여주지 않고 있다. 본 논문은 국내의 항만이 포함된 국제 항만 교역데이터베이스를 기반으로 베이지안 확률적 프런티어 모형을 적용하여 항만의 소유 구조에 따른 효율성 분석을 하였다. 소유 구조는 Tongzon과 Heng (2005)의 방법을 따랐으며 제안된 몇 가지 모형과 그들의 모형을 DIC 통계량을 이용하여 비교하였다. 베이지안 추론에 필요한 MCMC 방법은 Griffin과 Steel (2007)에서 소개된 WinBUGS 프로그램을 이용하여 구현하였다. Few studies have investigated the quantitative relationship between port ownership structure and port efficiency with mixed results. This paper therefore contributes to the empirical literature by investigating the impact of port privatization on port efficiency using sample data drawn from the world's major ports. Moreover, this study applies the Bayesian approach to estimate the impact of port ownership on port efficiency. We fit Bayesian stochastic frontier model which is introduced by Griffin and Steel (2007) by WinBUGS. World's 25 main ports data are used for analysis. Based on MCMC sampling, we estimate parameters of the model and efficiency index of each ports. Moreover, we add estimates from package Frontier 4.1c in order to compare them with Bayesian results.
