What Affects Segmental Lordosis of the Surgical Site after Minimally Invasive Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion?

Purpose: This study was undertaken to identify factors that affect segmental lordosis (SL) after minimally invasive transforaminallumbar interbody fusion (MIS-TLIF) by comparing patients whose postoperative SL increased with those whose decreased. Materials and Methods: Fifty-five patients underwent MIS-TLIF at our institute from January 2018 to September 2019. Demo graphic, pre- and postoperative radiologic, and cage-related factors were included. Statistical analyses were designed to comparepatients whose SL increased with decreased after surgery. Results: After surgery, SL increased in 34 patients (group I) and decreased in 21 patients (group D). The index level, disc lordosis,SL, lumbar lordosis, proximal lordosis (PL), and Y-axis position of the cage (Yc) differed significantly between groups I and D. Thecage in group I was more anterior than that in group D (Yc: 55.84% vs. 51.24%). Multivariate analysis showed that SL decreasedmore significantly after MIS-TLIF when the index level was L3/4 rather than L4/5 [odds ratio (OR): 0.46, p=0.019], as preoperativeSL (OR: 0.82, p=0.037) or PL (OR: 0.68, p=0.028) increased, and as the cage became more posterior (OR: 1.10, p=0.032). Conclusion: Changes in SL after MIS-TLIF appear to be associated with preoperative SL and PL, index level, and Yc. An index levelat L4/5 instead of L3/4, smaller preoperative SL or PL, and an anterior position of the cage are likely to result in increased SL afterMIS-TLIF.

2단계 급속동결 및 초자화 동결한 토끼상실배의 체외생존성에 관한 연구

본 시험은 수정란 급속동결보존기술의 개발을 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위하여 2단계 급속동결 및 초자화동결이 토끼 상실배의 체외발생등에 미치는 영향을 검토하고자 실시하였으며, 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 토끼 상실배를 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 및 3.0 M glycerol과 0.5 M sucrose가 포함된 동결액에 실온에서 10분간 노출후 -30℃에서 30∼40분간 정치하여 급속동결하였을 때 발생율은 각각 36.4, 83.3, 92.3 및 84.2%로 2.5 M glycerol에서 가장 높았다. 2. 토끼 상실배를 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 및 3.0 M 1,2-propanediol과 0.5 M sucrose가 포함된 동결액에 실온에서 10분간 노출 후 -30℃에서 30∼40분간 정치하여 급속동결하였을 때 발생율은 각각 26.6, 55.6, 65.0 및 52.9%로 2.5 M 1,2-propanediol에서 가장 높았으나, glycerol을 사용했을 때 보다 낮았다. 3. 토끼 상실배를 2.5, 3.0 및 3.5 M glycerol과 0.5 M trehalose가 포함된 동결액에 실온에서 10분간 노출후 액체질소에 침지하여 초급속동결한 결과 회수율은 각각 87.5, 92.5 및 92.5%, 형태적으로 정상인 수정란의 비율은 각각 37.5, 55.5 및 60.0%, 그리고 발생율은 각각 13.3, 36.4 및 37.5%로 3.5 M glycerol에서 가장 높았으나 초자화동결법보다 현저하게 낮았다. 4. 토끼 상실배를 25% glycerol과 25% 1,2-propanediol을 함유한 동결액에 실온에서 10분간 노출후 초자화동결했을 때 발생율은 75.0%로 실온에서 형평한 후 초자화동결이 가능하였다. This experiment was carried out to investigate on in vitro development of rabbit monla frozen by 2-step feezing and vitrification. The results obtained from this experiment are as follows; 1. When rabbit morula in m-PBS containing 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0 M glyceral and 0.5 M sucrose for 10 min at room temperature were cooled at -30℃ for 30 to 40 min and plunged into liquid nitrogen, the proportion of embryo developed to expanded blastoyst was 36.4, 83.3, 92.3 and 84.2%, respectively. Glycerol 2.5 M showed higher survival than others. 2. When rabbit morula in m-PBS containing 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0 M 1, 2-propanediol and 0.5 M sucrose for 10 min at room temperature were cooled at -30℃ for 30 to 40 min and plunged into liquid nitrogen, the proportion of embrye developed to expanded blastocyst was 26.6, 55.6, 65.0 and 52.9%, respectively. 1, 2-propanediol was less effective than glycerol. 3. When rabbit morula in m-PBS containing 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 M glycerol and 0.5 M trehalose for 10 min at room temperature were plunged into liquid nitrogen and thawed rapidly, the recovery rate of embryo was 87.5, 92.5 and 92.5%, the proportion of morphologically normal embryo was 37.5, 55.5 and 60.0%, and the proportion of embryo developed to expanded blastocyst was 13.3. 36.4 and 37.5%, respectively. The proportion of embryo developed to expanded blastocyst was higher in vitrification than in plunging into liquid nitrogen. 4. When rabbit morula were frozen by vitrification in m-PBS containing 25% glycerol. 25% 1, 2-propanediol, the proportion of embryo developed to expanded blastocyst was 75.0%, the result suggested that rabbit embryos could be frozen by vitrification after equilibration at room temperature.

The foundation of the history of the British political parties has been the origin of the history of world parties, and the history of the British political parties has been conflicting with the principles of conservatism and reformation. The eminent situation(phenomenon) of the British political parties was that they didn't believe the reformation and trdie to choose the way familiar to people. But especially it includes the characteristics different from the European socialism, In the affairmative aspect it affected the history of world political parties. We can compress many characteristics of the of the British political parties into the following. 1. The Characteristics of the British Socialism, In the small meaning of the British socialism, the socialism of the Labour Party is the moderate socialism based on the conservatism composing the essence of British thought. This Socialism, naturally, Persists the gradual reformaton rather than the radical change of the present political institution and social system, and in the result they believe that their socialistic goal can be achieved by the method of Parliamentary institution democracy. Conclusively, the thought of British socialism is to unfold the socialism just on the base of the principle of democracy and, if possible, the true socialism is considered to be unfolded on the traditional democracy. 2. The Two-Party System. The United Kingdom of Great Brilain is the cabinet responsible system and keeps the two-party politics, In this two-party system, the number of votes obained is not scattered, and either of two parties appears to be the major party clearly. The cause of the formation of the two party system is as follows. (1) The dual system of British religion was made to the two-party system, being restored politically. (2) A minor electorate district, It clearifies political struggle, and tends to make the voters simplify the choice of party. 3. The Central-Party Centered System. In England, the leadership and the political funds of a party have a deep relationship with its national network. Thus there would be two kinds of derivational characteristics in British parties. (1) The position of a party leader is considered as a great imporsance. (2) As the possibity of obtaining a seat in Parliament increases in direct proportion of the cooperation of party orgnization, the candidate's personal character is not thought much of, and only a party-centered political environment is made up. 4. The Class-clouring of Political Parties The reason why the British parties supporting democracy so eargely cannot cast off the evil spirit, the Classconsciousness, is that the party includes essentially a function of representing the profit of some groups of peoples, So the English Labour Party represents the profit of low-income people's profit. As the above, the political ideology of British party embraces the parliment democracy and the party politics, In this point of view, the political ideology of a nation cannot get out of the characteristic catalogue of the nation's tradition and history. In conclusion, it must be a lesson, throughout the English party history, that the best way to establish the pary politics would be tolerate and compromise.

비틀린 중공사막이 모듈에 미치는 영향: 전산 유체역학 시뮬레이션을 통한 정삼투 모듈의 압력과 농도 분포

본 연구에서는 정삼투 중공사막 모듈에서 중공사막의 가닥을 비틀어 배치하였을 때의 효과를 알아보기 위해 CFD 전산 유체 역학 프로그램을 통해 5개의 다른 각도로 비틀린 중공사막 모듈을 설계하고 시뮬레이션하여 비틀리지 않은 모듈과 비교하였다. 실험 결과, 중공사막이 비틀렸을 때, 모듈 내부의 유도 용액의 농도가 비틀리지 않을 때에 비해 고르게 분포하였 다. 모듈 입구의 압력은 중공사막의 비틀림과 관계없이 일정한 값을 보였지만 출구의 압력은 중공사막이 비틀린 정도가 커질 수록 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 출구의 압력이 높아짐에 따라 막 내부의 유체 속도가 감소하고 모듈 체류 시간이 증가하여 막 사이의 물질 교환이 원활하게 이루어질 것으로 예측된다. 이는 결과적으로 막이 비틀려 있을 때의 모듈 플럭스가 투과 수량 이 차지하는 비율이 그렇지 않을 때에 비해 2배 증가하였다. The current study focused on the effect of twisting hollow fibers (HFs) in a module during forward osmosis operation mode. Computational fluid dynamics simulation was employed for a straight HF module and twisted modules with five different angles to predict the mass transfer and observe the draw solution profile in terms of concentration and pressure. The simulation results showed that when the membranes were twisted, the concentration was distributed more evenly and the pressure at the module outlet increased gradually as the twisting angle increased. As pressure at the outlet increased, the fluid velocity inside the membrane decreased and the residence time of fluid increased, thereby facilitating mass exchange across the membrane. This is evidenced by a doubling of the ratio of water flux through the membrane in module flux when the HFs were twisted.
