Reactions of copper(In complexes of 1, 8-dimethyl-, 1, 8-diethyl-, and 1, 8-dipropyl-1, 3, 6, 8, 11, 13-hexaazacyclotertradecanes(A, B, and C, respectively) with halide and pseudohalide ions have been studied in aqueous solutions by spectrophotometric method. It is observed that the equilibrium constants(K) of these reactions decrease with the ligand structure in the order A> B>C for anions and decrase with the anions in the order SCN^(-)>N_(3)^(-)>Br^(-)>Cl^(-) for complexes. The values of K increased with increasing temperature. Thermodynamic parameters obtained from the equilibrium constants are investigated.

Nickel(II) complexes of 14-membered hexaaza macrocyclic ligands with alkyl pendant arms, I, 8 -diethyl, I, 8-dipropyl, 1, 8-dibutyl, I, 8-bis(2-methylpropyl), and 1, 8-bis(2-ethylhexyl)-1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13-hexaa zacyclo tetra decane (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, respectively), dissolve in the coordinating solvents acetonitrile, N, N-dimethyl-formamide(DMF), water, and dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO) to give equilibrium mixtures of the square planar [Ni(L)]" (L=1,2,3,4,5, or 6) and teragonally distorted octahedral [Ni(L) (S)2] '(S coordinating solvent). Equilibrium constants (K) and thermodynamic parameters for square planar-to-octahedral conversion have been determined from the electronic spectra. The values of K are decreased in the orders of CHsCN> DMF> I LO> DMSO for the nickel ( l[) complexes of macrocyclic ligands except 1 and 1> 2> 3> 4, 5> 6 for each solvent system. These 1 results are discussed in terms of the properties of the solvents and alkyl substi- "~ tuents atithe macrocyclic ligands.
작용기를 가진 14각형 거대고리 리간드의 니켈(II) 및 구리(II) 착화합물들의 합성

New nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of the 14-membered macrocyclic ligands with functional groups 1, 8-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-1, 3, 6, 8,10,13-hexazacyclotetradecane(H) and 1, 8-bis(2-piperazinoethyl)-1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13-hexaazacyclotetradecane( I) have been synthesised by the template condensations of ethylenediamine, formaldehyde, and appropriate amines in the presence of the metal ion. The complexes of H and I contain hydroxy ethyl pendant arms and piperazinoethyl pendant arms at the uncoordinated nitrogens of the ligands, respectiviely. [M(H)] (C104)2 (M=Ni(II) or Cu(II)), [M(H2I)] (C104)4(M=Ni(11) or Cu(11)), and [Ni (I )] (C104)2 have square planar geometry with 5-6-5-6 chelate ring sequence. The complexes are extremely stable in crystalline states and relatively stable in highly acidic solutions. Synthesis, characterization, and properties of the complexes are described.

Shellular는 평균 곡률이 일정한 연속적인 얇은 쉘로 구성되어있어 응력 집중 없이 동일 평면 응력에 의해서만 외부 하중에 저항 할 수 있기 때문에 매우 낮은 밀도에서 우수한 기계적 특성을 가지고 있다. 이 논문은 트러스 프레임 위에 수지 필름을 펴고 경화시켜 쉘을 제작하는 새로운 방법을 제시한다. 즉, 먼저 트러스 프레임을 3D 프린팅으로 형성하고 두 가지 유형의 수지를 사용하여 열가소성 및 열경화성 폴리머의 매끄러운 쉘을 형성한다. 압축 특성은 셸형, 즉 프레임 위로 팽팽하게 늘어난 셸이 독립형 프레임에 비해 강도와 강성을 크게 향상시킨다는 것을 보여준다. Shellular has excellent mechanical properties at very low densities as it is composed of a continuous thin shell with a constant mean curvature that enables it to resist external loads by coplanar stresses alone without stress concentration. This paper presents a novel fabrication method for shellular by stretching a resin film over a truss frame and subsequent curing. First, a truss frame is formed by 3D printing; then, two types of resins are used to form smooth thermoplastic and thermosetting polymer shells. The compression properties reveal that the shellulars, i.e., the shells stretched tightly over the truss frame have significantly enhanced strength and stiffness compared with the standalone frames.
확률밀도함수를 이용한 멤브레인방식 LNG탱크의 선형누적손상도 평가에 관한 연구

The estimate of fatigue life at the design stage is very important in order to arrive at feasible and cost effective solutions considering the total lifetime of the structure and machinery components.<br/> In this study the pratical procedure of prediction of fatigue life by use of cumulative damage factors based on Miner-Palmgren hypothesis and probability density function has been shown with a Membrane type LNG tank being used as an example.<br/> In particular the parameters of Weibull distribution that determine the stress spectrum are discussed. The main results obtained form this study are as follows:<br/> 1. The practical procedure of prediction of fatigue life by use of cumulative damage factors expressed in combination of probability density function and S-N data is proposed.<br/> 2. The caculated fatigue life is influenced by the shape parameter and stress block. The safe fatigue design can be achieved when using higher valve of shape parameter and the stress blocks divided into more stress blocks.<br/>
