삼성전자 보상제도의 변천과정과 시사점

삼성전자의 보상제도는 매우 강한 성과주의를 지향하고 있다. 개인별 수준에서는 개인별 고과에 기초한 능력가감급을 통해 보상의 차별화가 이루어지고 있으며 집단적 수준에서는 경제적 부가가치로 측정된 사업부의 성과에 기초하여 생산성 장려금과 이익배분이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 성과주의 보상제도를 통해 개인 및 집단성과가 경우와 두 가지 성과가 모두 낮은 경우 사이에 보상액이 두배 반이나 차이가 나고 있다. 본 사례연구에서는 삼성전자의 보상제도가 거쳐온 역사적 변화과정 및 최근의 강한 성과주의 보상제도가 도입된 배경과 효과를 분석하고 있다. 또한 개인 및 집단의 성과가 어떻게 제도적으로 보상과 연결되고 있는가? 성과주의 보상제도의 효과는 무엇이며 문제점은 무엇인가? 하는 질문들을 검토함으로써 성과주의 보상제도를 운영하고 있거나 도입하고자 하는 기업들에게 필요한 시사점이 도출되고 있다. 삼성전자의 경우 경영환경의 변화가 이에 대응하기 위한 경영전략의 변화를 발생시키고 그에 따라 보상제도가 변화하는 과정을 겪어 왔으며 그 과정에서 변동급의 비중이 증가하고 성과주의가 강화되는 모습을 보여왔다. 공정성의 문제나 변동급의 비중, 경제적 부가가치로 측정되는 지표, 비누적적 성격의 능력가감급 등과 관련된 불만이나 개선점이 없는 것은 아니지만 전체적으로 현행 성과주의 보상제도는 우수인력의 확보와 유지, 동기부여 측면에서 상당한 효과를 거두고 있는 것으로 판단된다. Samsung Electronics Co.s compensation system is characterized by its strong pay-for-performance plan. In particular, its profit sharing scheme is provoking a strong interest among many practitioners and researchers. Our case aims to trace the recent changes in compensation systems in Samsung Electronics Co., and to draw lessons for other companies wishing to introduce similar performance-based pay. A historical and in-depth analysis shows that compensation for the employees contribution has been a long-time tradition in Samsung Electronics, but its importance in total compensation and specific practices has been shaped under the pressure of the environment and business strategy. Current compensation system is designed with a view to increase the individual and group performance, just after the financial crisis of 1997. Under the current system, the high performers can receive more than double of the low performers. This strong difference of the pay level according to the performance results is reported to strengthen the performance culture.

이 글은 김대우 감독의 영화 <방자전>의 독특한 형식들이 유발하는 전복적인 효과들을 분석하는 일환으로 작성된다. 그런데 <방자전>에 대한 접근은 어쩔 수 없이 그것의 원작『춘향전』에 대한 접근과 병치될 수밖에 없다. 하지만 단순 비교를 피하기 위해 이 글은 두 대상의 병치를 생략했다. 대신 <방자전>을『춘향전』의 수많은 이본(異本) 중 하나로 상정하고 <방자전>의 이본으로서의 가능성에 주목했다. 물론 그것은 곧 <방자전>이라는 텍스트 자체의 창조적 유희와 생산적 영화언어에 대한 접근으로 귀결된다. 이 글이 생각하는 <방자전>의 핵심적인 장치는 방자 중심의 회상구조와 그것을 효과적으로 장면화하는 독특한 카메라-시선이다. 이를 통해 <방자전> 인물관계의 생산적인 역전, 몸-언어의 창조적 가능성, 『춘향전』에 대한 도발적인 질문들을 생산한다. 욕망의 주체로 거듭난 방자가 춘향을 둘러싼 몽룡과의 대결에서 조력자의 도움을 받아 벌거벗은 몸으로 기어이 승리한다는 이야기, 즉 <방자전>이 탄생하는 순간이다. 그런데 문제는 <방자전>의 그런 생산적 유희가『춘향전』이 담지하고 있는 실천적인 지평을 사장시킨 결과라는 점이다. 특히나 춘향에 대한 방자의 비현실적인 사랑으로 귀결되면서 <방자전>은 자폐적 낭만의 징후까지 보인다. 전복적 효과와 창조적 영화언어들에도 불구하고 이 글이 그것에 전적으로 동의할 수 없는 것은 바로 그 때문이다. This paper is to analyze the subversive effect that the peculiar style of <Bangja-jeon> creates. To study this film, it is natural to compare it with its original novel 『Chunhyang-jeon』. In this study, however, these texts aren`t juxtaposed to avoid simple comparison. Instead, <Bangja-jeon> is treated as one of different versions of 『Chunhyang-jeon』 and focused on with its potential meaning as a different edition. Consequently, it causes this study to approach this text in the aspect of its creative play and productive film language. The key apparatus of <Bangja-jeon> seems the retrospective structure focused on Bangja and the unique camera-gaze putting the structure into the scene effectively. These make productive inversion of characters` relationships and creative potential of body-language, and ask provocative questions about 『Chunhyang-jeon』. It is the very moment that <Bangja-jeon> is created, a story that Bangja who`s turned over a subject of desire wins the battle with Mongryong over Chunhyang with supporter`s help in a naked body. But the problem is such productive play is a result that <Bangja-jeon> gets ride of the practical prospect 『Chunhyang-jeon』 involves. Furthermore, this film shows autistic romance by concluding with Bangja`s unrealistic love for Chunhyang. It is the reason this film can`t get complete consent, in spite of its subversive effect and creative film language.

대공화기 명중률 향상을 위한 수학적 모델과 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어 개발

To enhance the hit-probability of anti-aircraft gun, an accurate and compact calculation of ballistic trajectory is required. There is trajectory calculation method called point mass analysis, which solves a 2nd order differential equation. In order to get its approximate solutions, numerical analysis that takes long time and many iterations is required. To overcome these defects, this paper proposes a new and compact method of trajectory calculation that uses the trajectory table with every 0.5° elevation step and the compensation table for distance error caused by range wind and cross wind. Those tables consists of coefficients of polynomial obtained by curve-fitting. The traverse and elevation angles can be found easily with few iteration by using the table. And to verify the accuracy of the proposed method the error between the approximate solution and the solution from the tables was analyzed.

가축 전염병 발생에 따른 언론요인과 축산물 가격의 동태적 인과성 분석

This study investigates the dynamic causal relationship between media factors and livestock prices analyzed by using the Internet Naver news coverage as a proxy variable, due to the outbreak of livestock epidemics in the domestic. According to the results obtained from the study, the outbreak of livestock epidemics has a causal relationship with the production price and wholesale price of beef and on the other hand, pork is proven to have a significant impact on the production and consumer prices. Impulse response analysis refers to the reaction of any dynamic system in response to some external change. In the case of FMD and AI, regular outbreaks have affected prices in the short term, but in the long term they have established a stable relationship. However, other than the media factors, this study needs to analyze other various factors associated with the outbreak of livestock epidemics.

연봉제와 동기부여: 개인 특성의 조절효과

본 연구는 연봉제가 종업원의 동기부여를 높이는데 조절 역할을 할 것으로 기대되는 조절변인들을 도출하여 실증적으로 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 본 연구는 연봉제의도입 자체의 영향도 중요하지만 연봉제가 효과적으로 기능하는데 영향을 미치는 개인특성 변수들의 조절효과가 중요하다는 점에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 따라서 연봉제가 이러한 조절변수들과의 적합성이 있는 경우 강한 동기부여가 발생할 것이라는 이론적 관점을 취하고 있으며 이에 따라 다양한 가설들이 제시되고 있다. 구체적으로 성과임금에 대한 태도, 정보공정성에 대한 인식, 업무능력 및 업무수행에 있어서의 자율적 권한이 개인특성 조절 변수로 제시되고 있으며 이와 같은 변수들의 조절적 영향이 실증적으로 분석되었다. 분석 결과에 따르면 성과임금에 대한 태도와 직무 자율성은 조절적 영향을 미치지 않는 반면 정보공정성과 업무능력은 조절적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 분석 결과는 연봉제를 도입하려고 하거나 도입하여 운영하고 있는 기업들이 연봉제의 동기부여 효과를 높이기 위해서는 연봉제의 운영 및 관리와 관련된 정보를 구성원들에게 정확히 전달해야 하며 종업원의 역량을 개발하기 위한 노력과 투자가 병행되어야 한다는 중요한 사실을 시사하고 있다. This study has a purpose of examining moderating variables influencing motivation effect of merit pay. After economic crisis of 1997, merit pay has been rapidly diffused in large number of Korean firms, and main research issue to the present was if it really increase motivation of employees as expected. However, for the managerial implications, it would be more important to find factors intervening in the motivation effect of the merit pay. In particular, our research is focused on the individual characteristics which could play a moderating effect. Based on the critical literature review, we hypothesize that motivation effect of the merit pay will be stronger if merit pay fits with these individual characteristics. Specifically, it is expected that attitudes for the performance pay, perception of informational justice, self-evaluated job competence, and job autonomy will positively increase the motivation level of merit pay. According to the results, informational justice and job competence exert a moderating effect while attitudes for the performance pay and job autonomy do not have a significant moderating effect. Results show that the firms have to actively provide pay related informations to the employees, and invest in development of the employees to maximize the level of motivation through merit pay.

Numerical simulations are conducted to investigate the mechanism of hovering flight with an inclined stroke. The Reynolds number considered is 150 based on the maximum translational velocity and a wing chord length. First, we conducted mechanism analysis based on three different paths, inclined plane motion, oval motion, figure eight motion, and rowing motion under various conditions. For each pattern, we calculated mean stroke-averaged values of the force coefficients and an estimated power. Second, from the analysis I suggest possible optimized paths to maximize lit and to minimize power consumption. Finally, we are going to take a closer look in the view of biological sense.
