삼성전자 보상제도의 변천과정과 시사점

삼성전자의 보상제도는 매우 강한 성과주의를 지향하고 있다. 개인별 수준에서는 개인별 고과에 기초한 능력가감급을 통해 보상의 차별화가 이루어지고 있으며 집단적 수준에서는 경제적 부가가치로 측정된 사업부의 성과에 기초하여 생산성 장려금과 이익배분이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 성과주의 보상제도를 통해 개인 및 집단성과가 경우와 두 가지 성과가 모두 낮은 경우 사이에 보상액이 두배 반이나 차이가 나고 있다. 본 사례연구에서는 삼성전자의 보상제도가 거쳐온 역사적 변화과정 및 최근의 강한 성과주의 보상제도가 도입된 배경과 효과를 분석하고 있다. 또한 개인 및 집단의 성과가 어떻게 제도적으로 보상과 연결되고 있는가? 성과주의 보상제도의 효과는 무엇이며 문제점은 무엇인가? 하는 질문들을 검토함으로써 성과주의 보상제도를 운영하고 있거나 도입하고자 하는 기업들에게 필요한 시사점이 도출되고 있다. 삼성전자의 경우 경영환경의 변화가 이에 대응하기 위한 경영전략의 변화를 발생시키고 그에 따라 보상제도가 변화하는 과정을 겪어 왔으며 그 과정에서 변동급의 비중이 증가하고 성과주의가 강화되는 모습을 보여왔다. 공정성의 문제나 변동급의 비중, 경제적 부가가치로 측정되는 지표, 비누적적 성격의 능력가감급 등과 관련된 불만이나 개선점이 없는 것은 아니지만 전체적으로 현행 성과주의 보상제도는 우수인력의 확보와 유지, 동기부여 측면에서 상당한 효과를 거두고 있는 것으로 판단된다. Samsung Electronics Co.s compensation system is characterized by its strong pay-for-performance plan. In particular, its profit sharing scheme is provoking a strong interest among many practitioners and researchers. Our case aims to trace the recent changes in compensation systems in Samsung Electronics Co., and to draw lessons for other companies wishing to introduce similar performance-based pay. A historical and in-depth analysis shows that compensation for the employees contribution has been a long-time tradition in Samsung Electronics, but its importance in total compensation and specific practices has been shaped under the pressure of the environment and business strategy. Current compensation system is designed with a view to increase the individual and group performance, just after the financial crisis of 1997. Under the current system, the high performers can receive more than double of the low performers. This strong difference of the pay level according to the performance results is reported to strengthen the performance culture.

Numerical simulations are conducted to investigate the mechanism of hovering flight with an inclined stroke. The Reynolds number considered is 150 based on the maximum translational velocity and a wing chord length. First, we conducted mechanism analysis based on three different paths, inclined plane motion, oval motion, figure eight motion, and rowing motion under various conditions. For each pattern, we calculated mean stroke-averaged values of the force coefficients and an estimated power. Second, from the analysis I suggest possible optimized paths to maximize lit and to minimize power consumption. Finally, we are going to take a closer look in the view of biological sense.

영문 : 국제사회 ; 외국인 직접투자가 아일랜드 경제발전에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 사회협약의 역할과 성과를 중심으로

There have been many critical point of view on the Korean industrial relations arguing that its conflictual nature and combative unions, and too much protective labor laws make the foreign investors to avoid Korea as an investment location. This argument has been raised since IMF` financial bail-out when Korea needed badly foreign FDI. Since then, however, any significant improvement in industrial relations field has not been made. In this kind of dead-lock situation, the Ireland` success story give us an important lesson, in which the strong economic growth had been made through the massive FDI, stimulated by the social partnership between government, unions and employers. Our study has an aim to examine the several success factors for Ireland`s economic success, and to take a deep look into the context and characteristics of the Ireland` social partnership, and its outcome. We also try to draw some lessons to Korean economy, in particular, in its economic policy and industrial relations.

한국영화에 투영된 타자화된 노인 : < 워낭소리 >와 < 그대를 사랑합니다 >를 중심으로

The old man was alienated from the movie. Recently, Old-man`s film had box office success. < Old Partner >(Lee chung-ryeol, 2009) and < I Love You >(Chu Chang-min. 2011) is it. Discussion in this article will center around finding the key scene to Old-man`s film. However, Especially interesting from our point of view is that the life of the elderly has been distorted in film. To be exact, the entire play is pervaded with Romantic. Regrettably, Old-man`s problem in sociology does not reproduce in film. In this film, by the same token, Old-man`s main problem was covered with excessive rhetorical devices. Their life and relationship were not portrayed in considerable detail. Precisely, Old age problem is reduced. Real old disappears from the frame. In the context of the film industry, to make money, or in the name of beauty. Their love is not real love. It is too romantic. Love is not realistic. As a result, the old man in the film are neglected. In the center, but is alienated. It is intimately linked with Orientalism. It will produce one of the Other`s stereotypes. In other words, the two films shows an Other`s image of the elderly in Korea. They are not modern humans. It should be reiterated that Old-mans life in film were one of pre-modern. In the process, it is by no means a coincidence that they are merely aesthetic objects. They are not of everyday life. The old man is a tourism product. They are just spectacular. 엄밀하게 말해 한국영화에서 ``노인영화``라는 새로운 장르를 규정할만한 토대는 마련되어 있지 않다. 어쩌면 사회학적 의미에서의 ``노인``은 한국영화에 존재하지 않는다. 그들은 언제나 주인공의 삶을 보조하는 도구적 인물에 불과했다. 그러던 중 최근 개봉된 두 편의 노인 주인공 영화가 흥행에 성공하면서 노인이 중심이 된 영화의 생산적 토대가 마련되는 분위기다. < 워낭소리 >와 < 그대를 사랑합니다 >가 그것이다. 그런데 본고는 이 두 영화가 노인을 전면에 내세우고 있음에도 여전히 사회학적 노인문제를 온당히 묘사하는 데는 실패했다고 판단한다. < 워낭소리 >의 경우 자본주의에 적응하지 못하는 노인의 삶을 초월적인 미적대상으로 치환 혹은 단순화시키면서 도리어 노인의 삶이 타자화되고 있다. < 그대를 사랑합니다 >의 경우 원작 만화를 영화적 문법 속에 효과적으로 번역하는 데는 성공했으나 상업화에 대한 고려나 100분 정도밖에 되지 않는 시간적 한계 탓에 원작이 품고 있는 노인문제를 지나치게 낭만적으로 묘사했다고 판단한다. 결론적으로 초월적인 우정이나 낭만적 사랑의 프레임 탓에 충무로 기성 상업영화에서 쉽게 상상할 수 없었던 노인 주인공의 영화가 탄생했음에도 불구하고 도리어 사회학적 노인은 배제되고 있는 것이다. 노인은 낭만화 되거나 미화되어야 할 특별한 존재가 아니다. 자본주의 시스템 안에서 구체적 역사의 현재 진행형을 여전히 감내하는 일상의 생활인일 뿐이다.

To enhance the hit-probability of an anti-aircraft gun, an accurate and compact calculation of the future position for target and the ballistic trajectory to impact a target are required. There is a trajectory calculation method called the point mass analysis, which solves a 2nd order differential equation. In order to get its approximate solutions, a numerical analysis that takes long time and many iterations is required. To overcome these defects, this paper proposes a new and compact method of trajectory calculation that uses the trajectory table with every 0.5° elevation step and the compensation table for distance error caused by range wind and cross wind. Those tables consist of coefficients of a polynomial obtained by curve-fitting. The traverse and the elevation angles can be found easily without iterations by using the table. And to verify the accuracy of the proposed method the error between the approximate solution and the solution from the tables was analyzed.

미쯔비시 PLC 시뮬레이션과 Unity 게임 엔진을 이용한 가상 플랜트 개발

PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) is widely spread to the industrial fields due to its convenient and intuitive usage. It uses a control logic called ‘Ladder diagram’ to control manufacturing machines. When controlling the machines with complex kinematic structures, it is complicated to implement and apply the ladder diagram to the industrial workspaces while the machines are working because it`s required to stop the machines at once and reboot them when the diagram is applied. At that time, the mechanical malfunction and the reduction of the manufacturing efficiency contrastively to developer`s intention might be caused. In order to solve those problems, the virtual plant in which users can simulate the motion of mini-MPS(Modular Production System) controlled by the ladder diagram is developed. This paper presents the developing process of the virtual plant for PLC using Mitsubishi PLC simulation and Unity game engine. Also it shows the difference between the simulation results in virtual and real environments.
