        Ultrastructure structure of antennal sensilla of carabid beetle Carabus elysii Thomson, 1856 (Coleoptera: Carabidae)

        The sensilla type, number and distribution in male and female adults of Carabus elysii Thomson, 1856 (Coleoptera: Carabidae) were studied using scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that there are seven categories and 12 types of sensilla in C. elysii adults: three types of S.Ch, three types of S.T, two types of S.B and one each of B.B, S.Co, S.Ca and S.Cam. There is no difference between male and female in the types of sensilla. Apart from the significant difference in the number and distribution of S.B.2, S.Co and S.Ca between male dorsal and ventral surfaces, there are no significant differences between male and female antennae. In general, the number of sensilla in females is larger than that in males. The results provide a basic reference for future ultrastructure, electrophysiological, and comparative behavioral studies of Carabus species.

        A Novel Resource Scheduling Scheme for CoMP Systems

        Coordinated multiple points transmission and reception (CoMP) technology is used to mitigate the inter-cell interference, and increase cell average user normalized throughput and cell edge user normalized throughput. There are two kinds of radio resource schedule strategies in LTE-A/5G CoMP system, and they are called centralized scheduling strategy and distributed scheduling strategy. The regional centralized scheduling cannot solve interference of inter-region, and the distributed scheduling leads to worse efficiency in the utilize of resources. In this paper, a novel distributed scheduling scheme named 9-Cell alternate authorization (9-CAA) is proposed. In our scheme, time-domain resources are divided orthogonally by coloring theory for inter-region cooperation in 9-Cell scenario [6]. Then, we provide a formula based on 0-1 integer programming to get chromatic number in 9-CAA. Moreover, a feasible optimal chromatic number search algorithm named CNS-9CAA is proposed. In addition, this scheme is expanded to 3-Cell scenario, and name it 3-Cell alternate authorization (3-CAA). At last, simulation results indicate that 9/3-CAA scheme exceed All CU CoMP, 9/3C CU CoMP and DLC resource scheduling scheme in cell average user normalized throughput. Especially, compared with the non-CoMP scheme as a benchmark, the 9-CAA and 3-CAA have improved the edge user normalized throughput by 17.2% and 13.0% respectively.

        Comparison of stomach microRNA transcriptomes of Tibetan and Yorkshire pigs by deep sequencing

        MiRNAs regulate the expression of target genes in diverse cellular processes and hence play important roles in different physiological processes, yet little is known about the stomach microRNAome (miRNAome) of the Tibetan pig. The objective of this experiment was to investigate differentially expressed stomach miRNAs participating in digestion. Firstly, we isolated total RNA by Trizol reagent from three Tibetan and three Yorkshire purebred pigs stomach samples at 90-day-old. Secondly, a comprehensive analysis of Tibetan and Yorkshire pig stomach miRNAomes was performed by small RNA sequencing in the Illumina HiSeq 2000 system. Finally, SYBR Green Real-time RT-PCR was performed to validate the differentially expressed miRNAs. We identified 318 unique miRNAs, 260 were co-expressed in both libraries, 17 and 31 miRNAs were specifically expressed in Tibetan and Yorkshire pigs respectively. Fifty six differentially expressed miRNAs were identified by the identifying differentially expressed genes 6 (IDEG6). Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes analysis revealed that some of the differentially expressed miRNAs were associated with protein and fat digestion. Two differentially expressed miRNAs (miR-214-3p and ssc-un39) participating in the digestion of lipid were identified. Additionally, qRT-PCR results suggested that a higher expression of miR-214-3p in the Tibetan pig stomach could lead to relatively lower expression of calcium-dependent phospholipase A2, which is an enzyme important for the digestion of glycerol phospholipid. This study has delineated the different stomach miRNAs expression patterns of Tibetan and Yorkshire pigs, which would help explain the regulatory mechanisms of miRNAs in digestion of Tibetan pigs, and contribute to utilize a the unique digestion merits of Tibetan pig in future porcine hybridization breeding.

        Molecular functions and therapeutic applications of exosomal noncoding RNAs in cancer

        Cancer is one of the most difficult diseases in human society. Therefore, it is urgent for us to understand its pathogenesis and improve the cure rate. Exosomes are nanoscale membrane vesicles formed by a variety of cells through endocytosis. As a new means of intercellular information exchange, exosomes have attracted much attention. Noncoding RNAs exist in various cell compartments and participate in a variety of cellular reactions; in particular, they can be detected in exosomes bound to lipoproteins and free circulating molecules. Increasing evidence has suggested the potential roles of exosomal noncoding RNAs in the progression of tumors. Herein, we present a comprehensive update on the biological functions of exosomal noncoding RNAs in the development of cancer. Specifically, we mainly focus on the effects of exosomal noncoding RNAs, including microRNAs, circular RNAs, long noncoding RNAs, small nuclear RNAs, and small nucleolar RNAs, on tumor growth, metastasis, angiogenesis, and chemoresistance. Moreover, we outline the current clinical implications concerning exosomal noncoding RNAs in cancer treatment.

      • Dietary Lactobacillus plantarum GB805 supplementation improves growth performance and nutrient digestibility in weaning pigs

        <P>A total of 60 weaned pigs with initial body weight (BW) of 8.51 ± 0.42 kg (28 d of age) were randomly divided into 2 groups of 30 each consisted of 6 pens with 2 gilts and 3 borrows and supplemented (treatment) 5.3×108 cfu/kg Lactobacillus plantarum GB805 in addition to basal diet offered during d 0 to 14 and d 15 to 42 (control). During the total trial period or different phases of trial, pigs fed L. plantarum diet had a higher (P less than 0.05) ADG, ADFI and feed efficiency. At the end of experiment, dietary L. plantarum supplementation improved (P less than 0.05) the apparent total tract digestibility of dry matter, nitrogen and the fecal Lactobacillus populations (P less than 0.05) while the fecal E.coli populations were decreased (P less than 0.05). In conclusion, dietary supplementation of L. plantarum GB805 had positive influence on growth rate, nutrient digestibility and gut microbial balance and its supplementation recommended to weaning pigs.</P>

      • Knowledge Acquisition Approach Based on Rough Set in Online Aided Decision System for Food Processing Quality and Safety

        For the problem that the use effect of food processing information system is poor due to absence of knowledge acquisition measures and knowledge self-updating function, a knowledge acquisition approach based on rough set is put forward. First, the approach establishes a set of predicted samples for the relationship between food processing parameters and product quality; then uses the discretization of continuous attribute, attribute reduction and rule extraction algorithm of rough set to acquire automatically predicted knowledge from a large number of predicted sample sets, and then saves the predicted knowledge in the knowledge base of expert system; finally, realizes the extraction of knowledge of food processing process based on the inference engine, which greatly enhances the effectiveness and practicality of the acquired knowledge in online aided decision system of the food processing quality and safety.

        动物与人类中心主义 -以金息的 『我是第一只山羊』为中心-

        김숨에게서 동물은 인간의 소유물이 아니다. 그에게 동물은 인간의 우월성이나 인간중심주의를 타파하고 인간의 한계를 각성하게 하는 존재이다. 인간중심주의는 인간과 동물의 지극히 불평등한 관계를 초래했다. 인간중심주의에 의거하여 사람들은 자신이 모든 생명체의 생사를 결정할 수 있는 권력을 가지고, 동물들이 인간의 소유물일 뿐이라고 생각한다. 이러한 인식으로 사람들은 동물을 착취함으로써 얻는 이익만 보고 그 이익 뒤에 숨은 위험을 무시한다. 인간중심주의를 타파하고 동물들의 착취를 막기 위해서는 인간이 생각을 바꾸어야 한다. 이러한 문제의식 아래 본 연구는 김숨의 『나는 염소가 처음이야』를 중심으로 인간이 동물을 통해 무엇을 어떻게 각성하는지 살펴보았다. 김숨의 소설은 다양한 방식으로 인간의 우월성을 조롱한다. 우선 동물들을 폄하하는 인간은 동물들에게 폭력을 휘두르지만 곧 동물들로부터 폭력을 되돌려 받는다. 이때 동물과 인간 사이에는 관계의 역전이 이루어진다. 이런 관계의 역전을 통해 독자들은 인간중심주의를 한계를 인식하고, 모든 폭력이 인간중심주의 때문에 발생한다는 사실을 깨닫게 된다. 다음으로 인간이 동물에게 폭력을 휘두르는 공간에는 흔히 아이가 등장한다. 동물에게 휘두르는 폭력은 아이의 순진함의 상실과 아이의 실종이라는 결과를 초래한다. 독자들은 부모 세대에 저지른 폭력이 아이 세대로 옮겨가는 모습을 통해 인과순환을 발견한다. 마지막으로 사람의 상식을 뒤집는 시공간의 혼재가 주목된다. 사람들은 현재와 미래가 같은 공간에서 존재할 수 없고 죽은 사람이 산 사람과 함께 등장할 수 없다고 생각한다. 그러나 여기서 작가는 불가능을 가능으로 만들고, 이질적인 것을 혼재시킴으로써 상식을 전도한다. 이는 작금의 상식인 인간중심주의에 대한 낯설게 보기와 반성을 유도하고 그 한계를 자각하게 한다. For Kim-Sum, animals are not human possessions, but to break the superiority of human beings and make people realize the existence of anthropocentric limitations. People have always wanted to pursue equality between animals and human beings. However, anthropocentrism nullifies the good wishes of between animals and human to live in peace. Because of the indoctrination of anthropocentrism, people believe that they have the power of life and death over all living life. Animals exist only to help people gain benefits and maintain life. Under the influence of this idea, people only see the immediate interests, but ignore the hidden crisis behind the interests. If you want to get rid of the crisis and change the status quo, you must first change people's minds and make people realize the limitations of anthropocentrism. That is, to break out of human superiority, make people realize that person is not everything. Human belief in the anthropocentrism is merely a people’s prejudice. So this study with Kim-Sum's “I am the first goat” as the center, analyze of people how to break own superiority through the animal, and to recognize the limitations of anthropocentrism. In Kim-Sum's novel, animals break human superiority in many ways. First of all, people who think animals are dirty violence against animals. There is an immediate backlash against violence. At this time, formed the cycle of violence between animals and humans, through the process of violence, readers can recognize that anthropocentrism is the most fundamental cause of violence. Second, the readers often see children in the scene of violence. Children who have witnessed the violent process lose their innocence or disappear, and reader can discover the cycle of cause and effect through the process that the evil causes planted by parents produce bad results on their children. The last is the coexistence of heterogeneity that overturns people’s common sense, people think now and in the future can’t at the same time and space, like a dead man cannot appear with the living, but in here, the author will these impossible becomes possible, use these heterogeneous coexistences make people to recognize the limits of anthropocentrism.
