      • 감광제 고유의 ABC 노광 변수 추출 시뮬레이터

        시뮬레이터를 이용하여 감광제 고유의 ABC 노광 변수를 정확히 구하면 실제 노광 공정 상에서 원하는 선폭과 최대 공정 여유도 등을 쉽게 알아 볼 수 있다. 현재의 시뮬레이터는 수은등의 i-line 이나 g-line 파장에 사용되는 기존의 novolac 계열 감광제에 대해서는 비교적 정확히 구하고 있지만, 193nm 용화학 증폭형 감광제에 대해서는 그렇지 못하다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 i-line 이나 g-line 용 감광제 뿐만 아니라 193nm 용 화학 증폭형 감광제의 ABC 노광 변수를 추출하는 시뮬레이터를 개발하고 이를 이용하여 노광 변수를 추출하여 분석하였다. If we obtain the proper ABC exposure parameters of resist, we will get the desired line width and maximum process latitude in real exposure process. Current simulator can obtain the ABC exposure parameters for conventional resists of g-line and i-line, but it can not obtain the ABC exposure parameters for 193 nm chemically amplified resist. We developed the ABC exposure parameter extraction simulator for 193 nm chemically amplified resist. And we analyzed the extracted exposure parameters.

        1. 당귀 물추출물 단독으로는 NO생성을 유도하지 못하였다. 2. 당귀 물추출물은 LPS 단독 또는 LPS와 IFN-γ에 의해 유도되는 NO생성을 증가시키지는 못하였다. 3. IFN-γ와 당귀 물추출물을 같이 처리하였을 경우 농도 의존적으로 NO생성을 유도하였다. 4. IFN-γ와 당귀 물추출물로 유도된 NO생성은 NOS 억제제인 ??에 의해 억제되었다. 5. 복강 대식 세포에서도 동일하게 IFN-γ와 당귀 물추출물의 NO생성에 대한 상승효과가 나타났다. In this study, the objective was to determene the effect of Angelica gigantis Radix-water extract on the production of nitric oxide(NO). Angelica gigantis Radix-water extract had no effect on NO synthesis by itself. However the stimulation of mouse macrophage cell line(RAW264.7) with Angelica gigantis Radix-water extract after the treatment of murine interferon-γ(mIFN-γ) resulted in increased NO synthesis. When Angelica gigantis Radix-water extract was used in combination with mIFN-γ, there was a marked co-operative induction of NO synthesis in a dose-dependent manner. The same results were obtained in the mouse peritoneal macrophages used. The optimal concentration of Angelica gigantis Radix-water extract on NO synthesis was shown 100㎍/mL with 100U/mL of mIFN-γ. NO synthesis was inhibited by ??-monomethyl-L-arginine. Angelica gigantis Radix-water extract was endotoxin free. Theses results suggest that Angelica gigantis Radix-water extract can induces NO synthesis of mouse macrophage cell line (RAW264.7) and peritoneal macrophages in combination with mIFN-γ

      • 이소골 전위 및 골절에서의 고해상 CT 소견

        목적 : 측두골 외상으로 인한 이소골 전위나 골절의 고해상 CT 소견을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 1998년 1월부터 2002년 6월까지 측두골 외상 환자 중 고해상 CT에서 이소골 전위나 골절이 있었던 11명의 환자를 대상으로 하였다. 8명의 환자에서는 필름을, 3명의 환자에서는 PACS를 이용한 고해상 CT를 후향적으로 분석하였고 이소골 전위 및 골절의 분류, 측두골 골절의 분류, 그 외 주위조직의 동반된 이상소견을 알아보았다. 결과 : 11명의 이소골 이상이 있었던 환자 중 침추골 관절 분리가 10예로 가장 많았고 침등골 관절 분리가 4예 있었으며 추골 골절, 침골 골절, 침골의 장각과 두상돌기 전위, 침골돌기가 보이지 않았던 경우가 각각 1예씩 있었다. 측두골 골절은 8예에서 있었으며 종위골절이 7예, 황위골절 1예였고 그 외에도 경동맥관 골절, 경동맥해면루, 접형골과 후두골의 골절이 동반되었다. 필름을 이용한 고해상 CT에서 보다 PACS를 이용한 CT에서 확대 및 창폭(window width) 변화가 가능하여 이소골 평가에 이용하였다. 결론 : 측두골 외상으로 인한 이소골의 전위가 골절은 고해상 CT상 횡단 및 관상면의 정확한 해부학적 지식이 필요하였으며 침추골 관절 분리가 가장 흔하고 측두골의 종위골절이 많이 동반되며 특히 PACS를 이용한 고해상 CT가 이소골 평가에 유용하였다. Purpose : To evaluate the CT findings of ossicular disruption and fracture utilizing high resolution computed tomography(HRCT) of the temporal bone. Materials and Methods : The authors retrospectively reviewed the HRCT scans of 11 patients with ossicular injuries between January 1998 and June 2002 using films in 8 patients, PACS in 3 patients. The type of ossicular injuries, temporal bone fracture, and associated adjacent injuries were evaluated. Results : Among the 11 patients of ossicular injuries, there were 10 cases of incudomalleal disruption, 4 cases of incudostapedial disruption, and 1 case of fracture of malleus, fracture of incus, disruption of long and lenticular process of incus, nonvisualization of processes of incus. The temporal bone fractures were longitudinal in 7 cases, transverse in I case. Other injuries were fracture of the carotid canal, caroticocavemous fistula, fracture of sphenoid and occipital bones. Conclusion : Incudomalleal disruption was the most frequent tupe of ossicular injuries and associated temporal bone fracture was longitudinal type. HRCT using PACS was useful in evaluation of ossicular injuries than films.

        A 41-year-old male patient presented with idiopathic persistent hiccups. The hiccups did not respond to pharmacologic treatments including cisapride, omeprazole, and baclofen. Phrenic nerve block was also ineffective. However, the persistent hiccups were successfully treated with short-term positive pressure ventilation using a short-acting muscle relaxant.

        Case Reports : Administration of Vitamin C in a Patient with Herpes Zoster -A case report-

        Herpes zoster as a result of reactivated varicella-zoster virus is characterized by vesicular eruptions on skin and painful neuralgia in the dermatome distribution. Pain during an acute phase of herpes zoster has been associated with a higher risk of developing postherpetic neuralgia. The current therapies for herpes zoster including analgesics and sympathetic nerve block as well as antiviral agents are important to alleviate pain and prevent postherpetic neuralgia. However, in some cases, the pain does not respond well to these treatments. We had a case in which a patient with herpes zoster did not respond to conventional therapy so we attempted to administer intravenous infusion of vitamin C which resulted in an immediate reduction in the pain.         Effects of small tidal volume and positive end-expiratory pressure on oxygenation in pressure-controlled ventilation-volume guaranteed mode during one-lung ventilation

        Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate whether tidal volume (TV) of 8 mL/kg without positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) and TV of 6 mL/kg with or without PEEP in pressure-controlled ventilation-volume guaranteed (PCV-VG) mode can maintain arterial oxygenation and decrease inspiratory airway pressure effectively during one-lung ventilation (OLV). Methods: The study enrolled 27 patients undergoing thoracic surgery. All patients were ventilated with PCVVG mode. During OLV, patients were initially ventilated with TV 8 mL/kg (group TV8) without PEEP. Ventilation was subsequently changed to TV 6 mL/kg with PEEP (5 cmH<sub>2</sub>O; group TV6+PEEP) or without (group TV6) in random sequence. Peak inspiratory pressure (Ppeak), mean airway pressure (Pmean), and arterial blood gas analysis were measured 30 min after changing ventilator settings. Ventilation was then changed once more to add or eliminate PEEP (5 cmH<sub>2</sub>O), while maintaining TV 6 mL/kg. Thirty min after changing ventilator settings, the same parameters were measured once more. Results: The Ppeak was significantly lower in group TV6 (19.3±3.3 cmH<sub>2</sub>O) than in group TV8 (21.8±3.1 cmH<sub>2</sub>O) and group TV6+PEEP (20.1±3.4 cmH<sub>2</sub>O). PaO<sub>2</sub> was significantly higher in group TV8 (242.5±111.4 mmHg) than in group TV6 (202.1±101.3 mmHg) (p=0.044). There was no significant difference in PaO<sub>2</sub> between group TV8 and group TV6+PEEP (226.8±121.1 mmHg). However, three patients in group TV6 were dropped from the study because PaO<sub>2</sub> was lower than 80 mmHg after ventilation. Conclusion: It is postulated that TV 8 mL/kg without PEEP or TV 6 mL/kg with 5 cmH<sub>2</sub>O PEEP in PCV-VG mode during OLV can safely maintain adequate oxygenation.

        A Systematic Study of Rivellia Robineau-Desvoidy in Korea, with Emphasis on the Species Allied to Rivellia basilaris (Diptera: Platystomatidae)

        As a result of taxonomic study of the Rivellia basilaris and its allied species in Korea, the following five species are recognized: R. basilaris(Wiedemann), R. flaviventris Hendel, R. nigroapicalis Byun et Suh, sp. nov., R. cestoventris Byun et Suh, sp. nov., and R. apicalis Hendel. None of the above species were previously reported in Korea. We provide descriptions and illustrations of these five species as well as a key to all 11 Korean Rivellia species. We also analysed interspecific relationships among Korean Rivellia species using cladistic methods. We propose to recognize R. basilaris species-group based on the presence of two lateral occipital setae as a synpomorphy. The monophyly of the previously recognized R. syngenesiae species-group is also suported by a single synapomorphy (outer surstylus extending beyond apex of cercus).
