        This study was performed to characterize the seasonal fluctuation of water quality and sediment environment from April, 2001 to November, 2001 in Gamak bay. Which was a productive area, but recently its fisheries conditional have been deteriorated because of increasing waste-water from municipal area, industry and autochthonous pollution by farm industry. In the survey of seawater quality, DO and COD concentrations were lowest in bottom layer at summer, but DIN and DIP contents were higher than those in surface layer. Eutrophication indices mean that eutrophication area move from south to north entrance via northern-west inner area with seasonal change from summer to autumn. In the survey of sediment environment, ignition loss(IL), chemical oxygen demand(COD), DIN and Dip were in the range of 3.8~15.7%, 10.3~60.6mg/g-dry, 5.053~1.810mg/ℓ and 0.065~0.324mg/ℓ , respectively. COD in sediment were highest at winter and spring. And, they were higher than sediment standard in the south inner area, which mean heavily polluted conditions with organic constituents.

      • 고속 채널환경에 강건한 OFDM 시스템을 위한 채널추정기법

        본 논문에서는 Orhogonal Frequency Division Multiplexting(OFMB) 시스템의 성능 향상을 위해 파일럿 심볼을 이용한 향상된 채널추정 알고리즘을 제안한다 기존의 LMMSE 알고리즘을 이용한 채널 추정 방법은 파일럿 심볼만을 채널 추정에 이용함으로써 파일럿 간격이 멀어짐에 따라 성능이 현저하게 떨어지는 단점이 있다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해 파일럿 사이의 채널을 선 추정하고 이 추정된 값을 다시 파일럿과 함께 이용하여 채널을 추정하는 채널추정기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 추정기법은 도플러 주파수를 36Hz애서 185Hz인 페이딩 채널환경에 적용했다. 기존의 LMMSE 추정기법과 비교했을 때 특히 큰 도플러 주파수애 대해 강건한 특성을 보였다.

      • GIS와 유전자 Algorithm을 이용한 유지관리를 고려한 최적노선 선정

        Maintenance of roads is important thing and it should be considered in the plan of the road design process. Optimizing some road design characteristics in the plan may reduce road maintenance costs over the life of the road. Maintenance costs are relevent to sideslopes, cross section, and annual average daily traffic. Road can be chosen to minimize these costs, focusing on those conditions. Genetic algorithm, which is a good technic about optimization problem, is used to optimize those of characteristics. The purpose of this study is to choose a road by optimizing these characteristics. It was selected automatically by using GIS and GA and the result shows that sideslopes have influence on choosing optimal road relevent to maintenance.

      • 담낭종양에서 CD24의 역할

        CD24 is a small heavily glycosylated glycosylphosphatidylinosito-linked cell surface protein, which is expressed in hematologic malignancies as well as in a large variety of solid tumors, It appears to function as a ligand of PUselectin, an adhesion molecule that is present in activated platelets and endothelial cells. The authors aimed to evaluate CD24 protein expression in adenoma and adenocarcinoma of gallbladder to correlate to clinicopathologic data. The staining- was evaluated as stainability (negative, weak-, moderate-, strong-positive) and staining' patterns (membranous vs. intracytoplasmic) for statistical analysis. A highly significant association of cytoplasmic CD24 expression with adenocarcinoma compared to the adenoma of gallbladder was demonstrated. The present study demonstrates that CD24 was abundantly expressed on adenocarcinoma rather than on adenoma, but it was not statistically significant, Interrelation between the stainability or intracytoplasmic staining of CD24 and lymph node metastasis was not statistically significant. The authors conclude that CD24 is involved in tumorigenesis of gallbladder mucosa and intracytoplasmic expression of CD24 is an important molecular marker for malignant transformation.

      • 새로운 방법에 의한 1,1-R,R'-2,3,4,5-테트라페닐-1-실라사이크로펜타디엔의 합성

        A new synthesis of 1,1-R, R',-2, 3, 4, 5-tetraphenyl-1-silacyclopentadiene was described. It was synthesized from one-pot reaction of 1,4-dilithio-1, 2, 3, 4-tetraphenylbutadiene with R_nSiCl_4-n (n=0, 1, 2), where 1, 4-dilithio-1, 2, 3, 4-tetraphenyl butadiene was prepared from the reaction of diphenyl acetylene and lithium metal in ether solution with good yield (80∼85%).

      • 顎關節機能장애 珍斷을 爲한 頭部軸方向放射線寫眞에서의 下顎顆頭의 位置分析

        著者는 顎關節機能障碍의 소견을 가진 환자 75명과 악관절기능장애의 炳歷 및 現症이 없는 정상인 75명을 표준화된 조건하에서 頭部軸方向放射線撮影을 하여 顆頭水平角과 initial 및 final depth of cut를 측정하고 통계학적으로 분석한 결과를 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있었다. 환자군과 정상군, 患側과 非患側에 있어 顆頭水平角과 initial 및 final depth of cut는 통계학적으로 유의한 차가 없었으므로 頭部軸方向放射線寫眞은 임상에서 악관절기능장애의 유무 및 患側과 非患側의 감별에 이용하기에는 부적합한 방법이라 사료된다. 본 연구의 계측치는 편차가 심하므로 환자마다 顆頭水平角을 측정하여 이각에 맞추어 顎關節斷層撮影을 해야 한다고 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the position of mandibular condyle on the submentovertex radiograph, thereafter to evaluate the usefulness of submentovertex radiograph in diagnosis of temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and to check the best method of tomographic techniques. Submentovertex radiographs which were taken in 75 tempormandibular joint dysfuction patients and 75 normal persons were used as the sample for this study. The obstients results were as follows : The submentovertex radiograph was a improper method in diagnosis of temporomandibular joint dysfuction and discrimination of affected side. The selective tomography was a better method than any other temographic techniques in diagnosis of temporomandibular joint dysfunction.

        응집공정에 적합한 In-Line 정적혼화기를 이용한 혼화공정의 개선

        The rapid mixing process for coagulation is a critical component in a water treatment plant. However, at the present time a detailed understanding of the rapid mixing by in-line mixer or generally accepted criteria for the design of in-line static mixer are not available. The aim of this work is therefore to improve the understanding of how the in-line static mixer works and how to better utilize it in coagulation process in water treatment. To investigate the performance of static mixer, coagulation experiments were conducted to compare the static mixer to the traditional backmixer under several coagulation conditions. Experiments were also performed to compare the coagulation efficiency of different mixing type of static mixer which were made using different flow rates and the number of elements equipped in a pipe. The static mixer performed better than the backmixer for all coagulation and mixing conditions tested. Especially, the static mixer was very effective in the surface charge neutralization, as showing higher reduction of negative charge with increasing mixing intensity. However, little difference was observed in the performance of the static mixer equipped with 2, 3, and 5 elements. Also, in a series of bench-scale studies of rapid mixing, the in-line static mixer performed better than the traditional backmixer for both adsorption and charge neutralization (A/N) mechanism and sweep coagulation mechanisms. Especially, the static mixer was more efficient at producing A/N mechanism conditions as a result of its fast and uniform dispersion of the coagulant.

      • 초등학생들의 물질 개념에 관한 연구

        Over the past 20 years, research on students' conceptual development of science concepts has begun to inform educators about the roles that prior knowledge and experiences play in the development of conceptual understandings. Whereas many initial studies focused on identifying and cataloging naive of misconceptions, more recent research has focused on how student concept development research can inform teaching practice and curriculum design. In this study, we investigated children's (ages 11∼12) spontaneously constructed or naive understanding of the particulate nature of matter prior to any formal instruction in the domain. Thirty students were interviewed concerning their understanding of the macroscopic and microscopic properties of the states of matter(solid, liquid, and gas), as well as their macro/microscopic understanding of phase changes and dissolving. Children expressed ideas about states of matter which were categorized as macrocontinuous, macroparticulate, or microparticulate. Furthermore, a substantial number of the children provided explanations of properties and processes which were consistent with those beliefs. These children's beliefs about matter were not fully and consistently developed across the spectrum of substances from continuous solids to particulate solids to liquids to gases. We speculate that children first develop local frameworks particular to different classes of substances and then slowly expand these frameworks to include a wide range of substances and their properties as well as such processes as melting and freezing.

        顎關節機能障碍 診斷을 爲한 頭部軸方向 放射線寫眞에서의 下顎顆頭의 位置分析

        저자는 顎關節機能障碍의 소견을 가진 환자 75명과 顎關節機能障碍의 病歷 및 現症이 없는 정상인 75명을 표준화된 조건하에서 頭部軸方向放射線撮影을 하여 顆頭水平角과 initial 및 final depth of cut를 측정하고 통계학적으로 분석한 결과를 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있었다. 환자군과 정상군, 患側과 非患側에 있어 顆頭水平角과 initial 및 fianl depth of cut는 통계학적으로 유의한 차가 없었으므로 頭部軸方向放射線寫眞은 임상에서 顎關節機能障碍의 유무 및 患側과 非患側의 감별에 이용하기에 부적합한 방법이라 사료된다. 본 연구의 계축치는 편차가 심하므로 환자마다 顆頭水平角을 측정하여 이각에 맞추어 顎關節斷層撮影을 해야 한다고 사료된다.
