1. 益植 花草栽培에 있어서 B-Nine處理는 花草의 伸長에 있어서 頂芽優勢의 現象을 抑制하고 分枝性을 增加시켜서 樹型을 가다듬는다. 또 開花促進 花型 開花數의 增加와 줄기와 잎이 탐스럽게 자라게 함으로 有意한 栽培方法이라고 생각된다. 2. B-Nine처리의 結果 花草伸長抑制度는 高性種일수록 抑制指數가 크고 矮生種은 낮다. 花益用 花草類는 矮性種을 選擇함이 花益의 價値를 더욱 높일수 있으며 高性種은 花壇用으로栽培할때 美的 價値를 向上시킬 수 있다는 것을 別途로 생각할 수 있다. 3. B-Nine 利用은 菊花栽培의 境遇와 같이 栽培期間을 短縮할 때에도 有效함으로 生産費의 節減이나 販賣價格의 增大를 꾀할 수 있다. 4. B-Nine藥劑의 一般的인 使用을 爲하야 싼 價格인 國內生産의 必要性을 提言하고 싶다. Recently we have used the Growth-Retarded Methods for cultivating plants practically,as well as for studying the growth of plants. Especially, since B-Nine (B-995), one of the Growth-Retarded Methods, has the great plant spectrum, we use it widely for increasing the number of stalks and cultivating fruits and flowers into the deep color by spraying it on leaves of various plants, such as the rice-plant, cucumber, radish, apple, and chrysanthemum. With the information of such preceding experiments as mentioned in the above statement, I have tried to find out the method of improving potting floriculture by treating various flower plants with B-Nine. I did the experiment with the method as shown in Table I,and the results are shown in Table 2(the examination of retarding the growth). Table 3 (number of stalks,blossoms and the diameter of flowers) and Table 4 (comparison of the growth of chrysanthemum leaves). In the following, I will summarize the results. (1) B-Nine is a useful method for increasing the value of the potting floriculture, because if we use it we can retard the growth, enlarge the size, and increase the number of stalks and growth stalks suitably and cultivate the leaves attractively. (2) B-Nine is useful both for potting floriculture and for flower bed floriculture, because we can regulate the growth of dwarf varieties, such as petunia, garden balsam, cockscomb, and chrysanthemum. and of tall varieties, such as morning-glory, African marigold, and aster (see Fig.1-7). (3) As it is possible to reduce the period of cultivating a flower plant such as chrysanthemum, by using B-Nine, we can attempt to cut down the production cost and to increase the selling price.

With the increasing popularity of multi-core processors, they have been adopted even in embedded systems. Under thiscircumstance many multimedia applications can be parallelized on multi-core platforms because they usually require heavycomputations and extensive memory accesses. This paper proposes an efficient thread-level parallel implementation for colorspace conversion on multi-core CPU. Thread-level parallelism has been becoming very useful parallel processing paradigmespecially on shared memory computing systems. In this work, it is exploited by allocating different input pixels to eachthread for concurrent loop executions. For the performance evaluation, this paper evaluate the performace improvements forcolor conversion on multi-core processors based on the processing speed comparison between its serial implementation andparallel ones. The results shows that thread-level parallel implementations show the overall similar ratios of performanceimprovements regardless of different multi-cores.
