        한국인 모발과 내부장기조직간 Cd, Hg, Pb 및 Zn함량의 상호관련성

        In order to study the relationships between trace element concentrations of hair and internal organs, autopsy samples of hair, liver, kidney cortex, kidney medulla, heart, lung, spleen, cerebrum, testis and bone from 162 Korean subjects were analyzed for Cd, Hg, Pb and Zn by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. High significant positive correlations were found between the Cd concentration in hair and bone and Pb in hair and lung. Hair Hg levels were highly significantly correlated with organ Hg levels in the liver, kidney cortex, kidney medulla, heart, lung, spleen, cerebrum, testis and bone. And hair Zn levels were highly significantly correlated with organ Zn levels in the kidney cortex, kidney medulla, spleen, testis and bone.

        With the 21th century in front of our very own eyes, we are seriously involved in environmental danger. The hi-tech being developed rapidly by manufacturers, it is a fact that environmental needs have been avoided. there is no doubt that environment and technology are both important to man-kind, but the market is overflooding of products just to sell, forgetting the basic essence of the pro-duct itself. Now the market is changing, the manufactures are trying to extend the product life cy-cle, and consumers are trying to buy their products reasonably.. Naturally 'LONG LIFE DESIGN' has been an issue since the 90's. Products used in our present life are made to satisfy our requi-rements for a short term and then thrown away to an uncyclable trash. And it is becoming a se-rious cause of environmental destruction. The concept was based on these problems, and we have tried to design products which will require both environment and mankind.

        Evolution of microstructure and its relation with hardness in the modified 9%Cr-1%Mo steel which was isothermally heat-treated has been investigated in various heat-treatment temperatures and time of duration. For microstructural and crystallographic analyses, optical microscope, scanning and transmission electron microscopes, energy dispersive spectrometer, and X-ray diffractometer were used. Vickers microhardness tester were used for the measurement of hardness. Precipitates of the complex M23C6, M(C,N) formed at grain boundaries and interiors of grains had led to the secondary hardening. Normalized specimen and all of the isothermally heat-treated ones showed no evidence of retained austenite.

        The fracture energy of a carbon fibre reinforced composite system has been evaluated as a function of the carbon fibre and content of PGE, a reactive additives. Work of fracture was estimated by three point bending test. Fibre debonded length and fibre pull-out length were measured with a Zeiss projection microscope. Results are as follows ; It was found that post debond friction energy provided a major contribution to the total fracture energy. The post debond friction process was show to be primarily responsible for the work of fracture of the composites. To the extent of 10 phr, PGE have been used to improve the fibre-matrix interfacial shear strength so that all of the fracture energy increased.

        This study was carried out to examine the growth environment, such as temperature, relative humidity, light intensity, soil acidity, and soil electric conductivity, in Gohado, Bletilla striata habitats. We considered that Bletilla striata was warm-season crop because temperature in growing period of Bletilla striata was 28∼34℃ and overwintering temperature was high Relative humidity was from 50% to 60% in average between March and July, and Bletilla striata was growing in dry site than the other species. Bletilla striata grew at the light condition of 40% of full sunlight in nature, and optimum light density in growth was 30,000 lux as a semi-shade plant. The range of soil acidity in habitats was from 5.5∼6.0, and soil electric conductivity was 16.9∼26.5 ㎲/㎝. Therefore, Bletilla striata grew at poor nutrition condition.

        Gutte-percha 또는 Resilon을 사용한 근관충전이 상아세관 내의 Enterococcus faecalis에 미치는 영향

        목적은 근관충전이 상아세관 내에 남아있는 세균에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 가터퍼차와 resilon의 밀폐 능력을 상아세관 내에 남아있는 세균의 생존 여부를 통하여 비교하는 것이다. 발치된 우전치로 치아시편에 E. faecalis를 접종하고 제1군은 음성대조군, 제 2군은 양성대조군, 제3군은 ZOE 계통의 근관전색제와 가터퍼차, 제 4군은 레진 계통의 근관전색제와 가터퍼차, 제 5군은 레진 계통의 근관전색제와 resilon으로 근관 충전하였다. 각 시편은 1, 2, 3주 및 4주간 보관한 뒤 round bur로 근관 내를 삭제하여 얻은 상아질을 배양하고 혼탁도를 측정하였다. 1. Nail varnish로 상아세관을 완전히 밀폐한 경우, 상아세관 내의 E. faecalis의 수는 가터퍼차 및 resilon으로 근관 충전 한 경우보다 통계적으로 유의차 있게 감소하였다 (p<0.05). 2. 레진 계통의 근관전색제와 resilon으로 근관충전 한 군에서는 시간의 흐름에 따라 상아세관 내의 E. faecalis의 수가 유의차 있게 감소하였다(p<0.05). 3. 가터퍼차와 resilon으로 근관충전한 군 사이에 상아세관 내에 남아 있는 E. faecalis의 생존 정도는 통계학적 유의차가 없었다 (p>0.05). The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of canal filling on the bacteria left in the dentinal tubules and to compare the sealing ability between Gutta-percha and Resilon. The bovine dentin block models were prepared. E. faecalis was inoculated to dentin blocks and incubated. The dentin blocks were divided into 5 groups. Group 1 was the negative control. Group 2 was the positive control. Group 3 was filled with ZOE based sealer and Gutta-percha, Group 4 with resin based sealer and Gutta-percha, and Group 5 with resin based sealer and Resilon. After 24 hour, the blocks were incubated at 37℃ for 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks on BHI agar plates. The internal dentin portion of the blocks was removed using ISO 027, 029, 031, 035 round burs and the dentin chips were incubated at 37℃ for 24 hour. Following incubation, the optical density of the medium was measured. The data were statistically analysed using repeated measures ANOVA and one-way ANOVA and one-way ANOVA. The results were as follows, 1. There was statistically significant reduction in the number of E. faecalis of the group where dentinal tubules were completely sealed with nail varnish in comparison with the groups obturated with gutta-percha or resilon (p < 0.05). 2. In group 5, the number of E. faecalis in the dentinal tubules decreased significantly with time (p<0.05), whereas in Group 3 and 4, there was no reduction in its number (p>0.05). 3. Under the conditions of this experiment, E. faecalis survived up to 4 weeks after obturation with gutta-percha or resilon (p>0.05).

        In this study, a fiber-optic bundle sensor has been developed using water-equivalent organic scintillating fibers for photon beam measurement. Beam penumbra and percent depth doses(PDD) are measured according to the depth of the photon beam. This sensor has many advantages such as high resolution, real-time measurement and ease of calibration over conventional radiation measurement devices.

      • 9-12%Cr강의 첨가원소 및 열처리에 따른 미세조직거동과 경도변화

        9-12%Cr steel are getting increasing attention for expanded application as high temperature materials applicable for gas turbine compressors, steam turbine rotors, blade and casing. For efficient and extensive application of 9-12%Cr steel, the data in addition to the improvement of mechanical properties on the correlation of microstructural evolution and mechanical properties are inevitable and thus the investigation in this study is performed for the determination for the specimens heat-treated at 600, 650 and 700℃ for 1000, 3000 and 5000hrs. The microstructure of as-received specimen was tempered martensite, with a high dislocation density and secondary phases. Upon high temperature heat-treatment, the martensite lath got larger and dislocation density decreased resulting the reduction of the strength. In addition, sharp growth of secondary phases was observed in the specimen heat-treated at 700℃ for 5000hrs. A specimen aged at 600℃ and 650℃ Laves phase was observed. The hardness showed close relationship with the secondary phase particle and dislocation density.
