        흡착튜브를 이용한 가스상물질 채취용 펌프의 유량성능 평가방법

        Objectives: Flow rate stability is very important for obtaining reliable measurements. However there is no easily used method for checking whether the flow rate set at the initial stage is sustained during sampling. The purpose of this study was to develop a method to evaluate the flow rate performance of gas sampling pumps with adsorbents commonly used to sample gases. Materials and methods: We tested the back pressure of gas sampling pumps commonly used in Korea with adsorbents such as charcoal and silica tubes and attempted to discover the combination conditions of adsorbents in accordance with back pressure required by ISO standard 13137. Results: We found the combination of sampling adsorbents to be applicable to the pressure drop required by the ISO standard for evaluating flow rate stability under increasing pressure drop and long term (eight-hour) performance. Conclusions: This evaluation method of using a sampling media matrix for checking flow rate stability as proposed by this study could be a highly useful tool for determining the reliability of the performance pumps before sampling.

        Two type III polyketide synthases from Polygonum cuspidatum: gene structure, evolutionary route and metabolites

        In our recent work (Ma et al., in Planta229(3):457–469, 2009a and 229(4):1077–1086, 2009b),two three-intron type III PKS genes, PcPKS1 and PcPKS2,were isolated from Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc. Phylogenetic and functional analyses revealed PcPKS1 is athree-intron chalcone synthase (CHS) gene, and PcPKS2 isfound to be a three-intron benzalacetone synthase (BAS)gene. The regular CHS encoded by a single intron genehave not been isolated and characterized from P. cuspidatum. In this work a further CHS with one intron (PcPKS3)and a stilbene synthase (STS) gene with three-intron(PcPKS5) were isolated and characterized by functionaland phylogenetic analyses. In comparison with PcPKS1, abifunctional enzyme with both CHS and BAS activity, theenzymatic product of recombinant PcPKS3 was naringenin,bis-noryangonin (BNY) and 4-coumaroyltriacetic acidlactone (CTAL) occurred as side products. The PcPKS5synthesized resveratrol and a trace amount of naringeninfrom p-coumaroyl-CoA. To our knowledge, PcPKS5 is thefirst reported three-intron STS gene in flowering plants. Inthis work, we speculated that this involved a possibleevolutionary route of plant-specific type III PKS superfamilyin P. cuspidatum.

        Alterations in protein and amino acid metabolism in honeybees (Apis mellifera) fed different L-leucine diets during the larval stage

        L-Leucine is an important factor for growth and development in animals. However, very little is known about the nutritional role and physiological function of L-leucine in honeybees. In this study,we determined the effects of Lleucine supplementation on protein synthesis and amino acid balance in honeybee larvae. First instar larvaewere fed different L-leucine diets (6.45, 8.45 and 10.45 mg/g) during the entire larval stage. After the larvae egested urate crystals, we analyzed the protein and amino acid metabolism indexes in the larvae. There was little effect of L-leucine on larval body weight and body protein content, but the hemolymph protein concentrations were higher in 8.45 and 10.45 mg/g groups than 6.45 mg/g group. Compared to the 6.45 mg/g group, L-leucine significantly increased the contents of Ala, Leu, Lys and Met in 8.45 mg/g group and continued to be increased in 10.45 mg/g group. L-Leucine affected many TOR signaling pathway- and L-leucine metabolism-related genes, including tor, 4Ebp1, bcaat et al. Moreover, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), creatine kinase (CK) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) activities as well as the triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TCHO), uric acid (UA) and urea nitrogen (URER) contents in haemolymph were significantly different among treatments. These results suggested that many factors involved in the metabolism of L-leucine and larval hemolymph play important roles in honeybee protein synthesis and amino acid balance.

        본 연구에서는 비내진상세를 가지는 철근콘크리트 (RC) 건축물의 내진보강을 위해 철골프레임을 면내방향의 내부골조에 설치하여 내진보강 대상 건축물의 강성 및 강도보강을 통하여 내진성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 프리스트레싱 프레임 보강공법(Pre-stressing Frame Methodology, PSF)을 제안하였다. PSF 공법의 내진보강효과를 검증 할 목적으로 비내진상세를 가지는 중·저층 RC 건물을 바탕으로 실물 크기의 2층 1스팬 골조실험체를 제작함과 동시에 유사동적실험 및 비선형동적해석을 실시하여 지진응답특성, 즉 하중-변위, 시간-변위 이력, 변위 억제효과 등을 검증하였다.

        건강과 안전 관리에 관한 QR코드 사례연구 - 한 · 중 사례를 중심으로 -

        코로나19 팬데믹의 전 세계적 확산과 일상화되면서 ‘언택트’(Untact) 사회가 지속해서 발전할 것으로 보인다. 스마트폰 및 디지털 기술의 보급에 따라, 한중 양국은 방역 관리를 위한 건강과 안전 관리에 관한 출입용 QR코드의 개발과 보급이 대중화되고 있다. 이러한 사회적 배경에 따라 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국의 건강과 안전에 관한 QR코드 사례조사를 통해 공통점과 차이점, 문제점을 도출하여 더욱더 다양한 서비스 범위에서 적용될 수 있는 발전 가능성에 대해 연구하고자 하였다. 연구의 구성은 첫째, 이론적 배경을 위해 QR코드에 대한 이해, 건강과 안전관리에 관한 QR코드 사용현황에 대해 연구하였다. 둘째, 한국과 중국의 건강과 안전에 관한 사례 조사를 하고 비교 분석하였다. 이를 기반으로 발급방법, 코드 이미지, 데이터 구축, 시스템 구축을 비교 분석하였다. 공통점으로는 안전 출입 관리를 위해서 스마트폰을 매체로 대중의 활용도가 높은 어플리케이션으로 QR코드를 발급한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 차이점으로는 본인 인증 방식, 유효기간, 정보 활용 및 적용 범위, 데이터구성, 이미지가 다르다는 것이다. 또한 종합적으로 안전성, 통합성, 편리성에 대한 3가지의 문제점을 도출하였다. 본 연구를 통해 일반적인 ‘건강과 안전에 관한 코드’에서 더욱더 넓은 범위의 ‘개인 서비스 코드’로 발전할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다. 한국과 중국 두 국가의 사례조사를 하여 추후에는 다양한 국가의 사례조사가 필요하며, 디자인이 적용된 ‘개인 서비스코드’ 콘셉트에 대한 연구도 이루어져야 할 것이다. As the global spread and dailyization of COVID-19 Pandemic is expected to continue to develop the “Untact” society. With the spread of smartphones and digital technologies, the development and dissemination of QR codes for access to health and safety management for quarantine management are becoming popular in both Korea and China. According to this social background, this study aimed to study the possibility of development that can be applied in a wider range of services by drawing common points, differences, and problems through QR code case studies on health and safety in Korea and China. The composition of the study first studied the understanding of QR codes for theoretical backgrounds, and the use of QR codes for health and safety management. Second, we conducted a case study on the health and safety of Korea and China and conducted a comparative analysis. Based on this, we compare and analyze the issuance process, code image, data composition, and system construction. In common, we could see that QR codes are issued to applications that are highly utilized by the public through smartphones for safe access management. The difference is that the method of self-certification, expiration date, information utilization and coverage, data composition, and image are different. We also comprehensively derive three problems with safety, integration and convenience. This study identified the possibility of developing from a general “Code on Health and Safety” to a wider range of “Personal Service Codes”. Cases of both Korea and China will need to be investigated in the future, and research on the concept of “Personal Service Code” applied with the design will also need to be conducted.

        The Mediating Effect of Empathy on the Relationship between Cultural Intelligence and Intercultural Adaptation in Intercultural Service Encounters

        Globalization has led to a dramatic increase in intercultural service encounters between services providers and customers from diverse cultural backgrounds. This paper explores the causal relationship between service employees‟ cultural intelligence and adaptive sales behavior in intercultural service encounters, and the mediating effect of cognitive and emotional empathy on this relationship. A quantitative survey methodology was utilized to collect data on 341 salespeople at duty-free shops located on Jeju Island, Korea. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 18 and Amos 18. The results show that cultural intelligence has a significant impact on cognitive empathy, emotional empathy, and adaptive sales behavior. Cognitive empathy has a positive impact on adaptive sales behavior, whereas the relationship between emotional empathy and adaptive sales behavior is not significant. Additionally, cognitive empathy mediates the relationship of cultural intelligence and adaptive sales behavior. This study has useful managerial implications for employee selection, training, and development in service firms engaged in intercultural service encounters. This study extends prior research on intercultural service encounters by exploring the direct impact of cultural intelligence on intercultural adaptation and the mediating effect of empathy, suggesting the presence of a cognitive mechanism that plays a key role in the impact of cultural intelligence on adaptive sales behavior.

        Synthesis, Structures and Photoluminescent Properties of Two Novel Zinc(II) Compounds Constructed from 5-Sulfoisophthalic Acid

        Hydrothermal reaction of zinc(II) salts with 5-sulfoisophthalic acid monosodium salt (NaO3SC6H3-1,3-(COOH)2, NaH2-SIP) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) led to two new compounds, [Zn(phen)3]·2H2SIP·4H2O (1) and [Zn(phen)2(H2O)2]·2H2SIP·2H2O (2). They were characterized by element analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermalgravimetric analysis (TGA),X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Both compounds 1-2 represent the first example of Zn/phen/SIP system. The Zn (II) ion in 1 is six-coordinated by six nitrogen atoms from three phen molecules, and the H2SIP‒ ligands engage in the formation of hydrogen bond. The Zn(II) ion in 2 is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms from two phen molecules and two oxygen atoms from two water molecules. Moreover, both 1 and 2 are assembled into 3D supramolecular architectures by hydrogen bonds (O-H···O) and π-π interactions. Solvent water molecules occupying voids of the compounds serve as receptors or donors of the extensive O-H···O hydrogen bonds.

      • 비선형동적해석에 의한 프리스트레싱 프레임공법으로 보강된 R/C건물의 내진보강효과의 평가

        본 연구에서는 보강프레임에 프리스트레싱을 통해 기존구조체와 일체거동이 가능한 프리스트레싱 프레임공법(Pre-stressing Frame Method, 이하 PSF)을 제안하였다. 2층 골조 유사동적실험을 통해 내진보강효과를 검증함과 동시에, 비선형동적해석을 이용하여 유사동적 실험결과와 비교하여 해석모델링을 구축하였다. 추후 구축된 비선형 동적해석 모델링을 기반으로 비내진상세를 가지는 철근콘크리트(이하, R/C) 건축물을 대상으로 비선형동적해석을 실시할 계획이며, 내진보강 전과 후의 건축물의 지진응답하중 및 응답변위 특성을 검토하여 내진보강효과를 검증이 필요하다고 판단된다.
