저항을 이용한 프로판-공기 혼합가스의 점화한계 개선에 관한 연구

본 논문은 IEC형 불꽃점화 시험장치를 이용하여 저압 유도회로의 최소 점화한계를 프로판-공기 5.25 Vol.%의 혼합 가스에 대하여 실험적으로 구하였으며, 또한 유도회로의 인덕턴스 L에 안전소자로서 저항을 병렬접속하였을 경우 프로판-공기 5.25 Vol.%의 혼합 가스에 대한 점화한계 개선효과를 관찰하였다. 그 결과, 최소 점화한계는 전류의 크기에 따라 좌우되었다 또한, 전원으로부터 공급되는 에너지는 인덕턴스에 우선 축적되고. 그 초과분의 에너지가 폭발성 가스의 점화원으로 작용하였다. 점화한계 개선효과는 인덕턴스가 300 mH일 때, 최고 330%의 개선효과가 나타났으며 인덕턴스가 클수록 점화한계 개선효과가 크게 나타났다. 또한 병렬로 접속한 저항의 크기가 적을수록 점화한계 개선 효과가 크다. 본 연구결과는 본질안전 방폭형 전기기기의 연구개발을 위한 기본자료로 활용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 이들 기기의 방폭성능에 대한 시험자료로도 활용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다. This paper describes the minimum ignition limits for propane-air 5.25 Vol.% mixture gases in low voltage inductive circiuts. The improved effects on the ignition limit are studied by parallel safety components(resistors) for propane-air 5.25 Vol.% mixture gas in low voltage inductive circuits. The experimental devices used in this test are the IEC type spark ignition test apparatus. The minimum ignition limits are controlled by the values of current in inductive circuit. Energy supplied from elect source is first accumulated at the inductance, it's extra energy is working as ignition source of the explosive gas. The improved effects on the ignition limit are respectively obtained as the maximum rising rate of 330% by composing parallel circuits between inductance and resistor as compared with disconnecting inductance with the safety components. The more values of inductance increase the higher improved effects of ignition limit rise. The less values of resistor the higher improved effects of ignition limit rise. It is considered that the result can be used for not only data for researches and development of intrinsically safe explosion-proof machines which are applied equipment and detectors used in dangerous areas but also for datum for its equipment tests.

In this paper, we propose a new WDM wavelength locking system which uses the Michelson interferometer with a movable arm. The proposed system can cope easily with an external temperature variation to give a good stability and shows the wavelength locking capability of a resolution below 0.0005㎚.

In this paper, we propose Au-Optical WDM Buffer System for resolving contention probiem of packets in Optical Packet Switching System. The proposed system consists of tunable wavelength converters based on SOA, NxN AWG, and fiber delay lines. This structure can reduce ASE and cross-talk noise because the buffering is achieved from passing packets through each different delay line determined by converting the wavelength of input packet. We also perform buffering experiment for two 5Ons optical pulses, and it proves that the proposed system works as expected.

In this paper, we proposed an optical balance using a Michelson Interferometer structure. The frequency of the interference signal is changed nonlinearly related with a weight to be measured, and this frequency change is processed by a processor to give a measured weight. Several measurements were performed and the good results were obtained with the fluctuation of about 1g.

<P>Silver polymer electrolytes were prepared by blending silver salt with poly(oxyethylene)<SUB>9</SUB> methacrylate)-graft-poly(dimethyl siloxane), POEM-g-PDMS, confining silver salts within the continuous ion-conducting POEM domains of microphase-separated graft copolymer. AgClO<SUB>4</SUB> polymer electrolytes exhibited their maximum conductivity at high silver concentrations as well as higher ionic conductivities than AgCF<SUB>3</SUB>SO<SUB>3</SUB> electrolytes. The difference in conductivities of the two electrolytes was investigated in terms of the differences in the interactions of silver ions with ether oxygen of POEM and, hence, with the anions of salts. Upon the addition of salt in graft copolymer, the increase of T<SUB>g</SUB> in AgClO<SUB>4</SUB> was higher than that in AgCF<SUB>3</SUB>SO<SUB>3</SUB> electrolytes. Analysis of an extended configuration entropy model revealed that the interaction of ether oxygen/AgClO<SUB>4</SUB> was stronger than that of ether oxygen/AgCF<SUB>3</SUB>SO<SUB>3</SUB> whereas the interaction of Ag<SUP>+</SUP>/ClO<SUB>4</SUB><SUP>−</SUP> was weaker than that of Ag<SUP>+</SUP>/CF<SUB>3</SUB>SO<SUB>3</SUB><SUP>−</SUP>. These interactions are supported by the anion vibration mode of FT-Raman spectroscopy. It is thus concluded that the higher ionic conductivity of AgClO<SUB>4</SUB> electrolytes was mostly because of higher concentrations of free ions, resulting from their strong ether oxygen/silver ion and weak silver ion/anion interactions. A small angle X-ray scattering study also showed that the connectivity of the POEM phase was well developed to form nanophase morphology and the domain periodicities of graft copolymer electrolytes monotonically increased with the increase of silver concentration up to critical concentrations, after which the connectivity was less developed and the domain spacings remained invariant. This is attributed to the fact that silver salts are spatially and selectively incorporated in conducting POEM domains as free ions up to critical concentrations, after which they are distributed in both domains as ion pairs without selectivity. The increase of domain d-spacing in AgClO<SUB>4</SUB> electrolytes was larger than that in AgCF<SUB>3</SUB>SO<SUB>3</SUB>, which again results from high concentrations of free ions in the former. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Thermodynamic model of gas permeability in polymer membranes

<P>A new molecular thermodynamic model is developed of the gas permeability in polymer membranes on the basis of configurational entropy and Flory-Huggins theory to predict permeability dependence on the concentration of penetrant. Three kinds of configurational entropy are taken into account by this model; that is, the disorientation entropy of polymer, the mixing entropy, and specific interaction entropy of polymer/gas. The validity of the mathematical model is examined against experimental gas permeability for polymer membranes. As history in Seoul, which is seen by photograph, is actually a phase of Korea`s modern and present history, it is the collective memory common to all of us, who proceed with living in the contemporary period. This record is holding sentiments, sensation, and unforgettable bitter pain that we had experienced for one turbulent century in the past. Unlike the history of being stated with an alphabet, the history, which is witnessed with a photo, is revealed as a fragment of truth, which hints at any probable fact from the always fragmentary fact in the past, and never has general statement or structural system in one group. The record in a photo, which results in being revealed as the collective experience, is always pointing to the truth of history. Thus, 「Life and history in Seoul seen by photograph」, which was set to discourse, doesn`t aim at the generally historical statement or academic quest on Seoul. The ultimate intention of narration is to infer the probable memory or the collective memory, which seems to have existed, in today`s large city Seoul while proceeding with following particularity in photo medium, which was chosen as medium of revival. A photograph also becomes the excellent medium of revival that witnesses truth of memory from changeability in history. That is because a photo can show the distorted history, but can never distort truth of memory. The record photograph in Seoul, which destructs and distorts history, namely, the destructive History, which was shown from a photo, is related mostly to the collective ideology for governing. It is clearly indicated especially in the propaganda photo for the Korean-race liquidation policy in Japanese imperialism and in the ideology photo for military dictatorship. The dark collective history in this way furtively enters the tunnel of oblivion along a flow of time. Nevertheless, the life and history in Seoul can never understand reality just with vivid memory in the past and promise future. That will be just dilemma in oblivion and memory. Oblivion for future is important as well enough for memory as exposure in life and history of Seoul, which is revealed with a photo.

Diffusion-absorption refrigerator(DAR) using ammonia-water-helium as working fluids is studied in this paper. This cycle is of simple pressure and it can be operated without electric pump or mechanics, only by thermal energy. This study provides the optimum concentration of ammonia solution and pressure of auxiliary gas to adjust the DAR system.
