        扶正益氣方의 抗癌活性과 免疫調節作用에 관한 硏究

        To evaluate the antitum or activity and immune response Bujungikgibang(BJ1GB) studies were done experimentally. The results were obtained as follows: 1. BJIGB extracts exhibited a weak cytotoxicity against SK-OV-3, and SK-MEL-2 cell lines. While it showed cytotoxicity against B16-Fl0 cell line up to 30% of control at concentration of 0.5 mg/ml. 2. BJIGB extracts significantly showed inhibitoty effect on DNA topoisomerase 1 from calf thymus in a dose-dependant manner. 3. BJIGB extracts showed antiadhesive rates against A549, at 30% at 0.5 mg/ml, 60% at 1 mg/ml 4. BJIGB extracts inhibited CAM angiogenesis up to 60%. 5. BJIGB extracts prolonged life span of ICR mice bearing S-180 sarcoma cells up to 130.5%. 6. In FACS analysis, the population of helper T cell was increased weakly, while cytotoxity T cell was decreased insignificantly. 7. The production of nitric oxide in RAW cell stimulated by LPS was incresed at 0.5mg/ml or more in dose dependant fashion as compared with control. 8. Proliferation rate of splenocyte was increased at 0.5mg/ml or more a dose dependant fashion as compared with control. These results suggested that BJIGB extracts might be usefully applied for treatement of cancer and also it was nesessary to do more studies about its mechnisms.

        아질산 노출이 이스라엘잉어 혈장내 아질산 농도 및 간장 약물대사효소에 미치는 영향

        Effects of ambient nitrite, N0₂^(-), at 1, 3, 10 and 30 mg/l, on the changes of plasma nitrite/nitrate and on hepatic drug-metabolizing enzyme activity were examined in the juvenile Israeli carp, Cyprinus carpio. When the fish were exposed to 1 and 3 mg/l N0₂^(-), there was an exposure duration-dependent increase in plasma N0₂- over the 96-hr period reaching 6~7 fold excess the ambient concentration, In the fish exposed to 10 mg/l, a plateau concentration of less than 2-fold of the environment was attained in 12 hr. With 30 mg/l, however, the maximal plasma NOf was 41.25 mg/1 at 12 hr followed by a gradual decline. There was a concentration increase in methemoglobin (metHb) level in all N02^(-)-exposed groups and a significant decrease in hematocrit value in 30 mg/l group after 96-hr exposure. Apart from the blunted increase in plasma N0₂^(-) with higher N0₂^(-)(10 and 30 mg/1) exposure, the ratio of plasma N0₃^(-) to N0₂^(-) was significantly higher in these groups compared to 1 and 3 mg/l. The imbalance in the plasma N0₃^(-)/N0₂^(-) at higher N0₂^(-) exposure suggests a possible accelerated conversion of N0₂^(-) to N0₃^(-). Nitrite exposure did not affect the hepatic drug-metabolic activities in juvenile Israeli carp. All these data indicate that disposition of N0₂- differ depending upon exposed concentration and that metHb production may not be the exclusive toxic mechanism in carp

      • 장기간 트레이닝이 내당능에 미치는 효과 분석

        The present study was carried out to investigate the effects of physical training on glucose tolerance, insulin secretion, insulin sensitivity and insulin binding to erythrocytes in non-insulin dependent diabetic subjects(NIDDM) with fasting hyperglycemia and low insulin response during OGTT. The subjects were separated into two groups. One was diabetics treated with mild caloric restriction and physical training(Training group, n=18), the other was diabetics followed with mild caloric restriction alone(Sedentary group, n=20). Physical training consisted of 3-5 days weekly, 30 minutes sessions, with jogging corresponding to 40-50%VO₂max. Insulin sensitivity was determined by euglycemic insulin clamp technique. Following results were obtained. 1) Oral glucose tolerance was improved after 2 month training and remained unchanged thereafter in the training group. It was also improved in the sedentary group, however, the degree of the improvement in OGTT at 6 month treatment was more pronounced in the training group than in the sedentary group. 2) Amelioration of plasma insulin response during OGTT was observed after 6 months of treatment in the training group only. 3) After 2 months of treatment, glucose metabolic clearance rate(MCR) increased from 4.1㎖/㎏/min to 6.7㎖/㎏/min in the training group, but no change of MCR occurred in the sedentary group. 4) No significant changes in insulin binding to insulin receptors were observed in both the training and the sedentary groups. In conclusion, physical training improves glucose tolerance through an enhancement of insulin sensitivity and further insulin secretion in NIDDM with fasting hyperglycemia. It is useful as an adjunctive to diet in the treatment of NIDDM.

        가야산 소나무 ( Pinus densiflora ) 군낙의 (群落) 구조 및 동태

        Structure and dynamics` of Pinus densiflora community in Mt. Kaya were studied to provide the information needed for management of Pinus densiflora forest in the southern inland of Korea. Stratification structure of Pinus densiflora community in the lower and middle slope consisted of tree layer(10∼15m), subtree layer(4∼10m), shrub layer(1∼4m), and herb layer(below 1m), while in the rock zone of ridge and top area consisted of tree layer(7∼10m), subtree layer(2∼7m), shrub layer(1∼2m), and herb layer(below 1m). According to the diameter distribution of tree species in Pinus densiflora community, secondary Pinus densiflora forest will gradually decline. Its forest may be replaced by Quercus mongolica, Quercus serrata, Carpinus laxiflora, C. cordata. and Fraxinus rhychophylla in the lower slope, and by Quercus rnongolica in the middle slope. Pinus densiflora forest has its seedlings and saplings in ridge and top area, so it may be sustained. By taking cores from Pinus densiflora trees in research area, it could be obtained that in the lower and middle slope, age of Pinus densiflora forest was about 80∼90 years old. When the age of its trees was about 72∼80 years old, withering trees of standing dead occurred. Disturbance regime of Pinus densiflora community in Mt. Kaya consisted of standing dead, uprooting and limbfall, these were 70.6%, 17.6% and 11.8% respectively. It takes about 100∼110 years for advance growth of Pinus densiflora in ridge and top area to reach tree layer. During the period, it has twice chances of disturbance in standing dead. Annual diameter growth of Pinus densiflora was 2.45∼2.9㎜ in the lower and middle slope, while it was 1.75㎜ in ridge and top region, by measuring cores.

        경북 울진 삼근리 산림유전자원보호림의 식물상

        본 연구는 경북 울진 삼근리 유전자원보호림의 식물상을 조사하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2009년 4월부터 10월까지 4회에 걸쳐 조사된 관속식물은 70과 133속 159종 3아종 15변종 4품종 181분류군이다. 이중 한국특산식물은 할미꽃, 홀아비꽃대, 산앵도나무 등 5분류군, 희귀식물은 고란초 1분류군이 확인되었다. 또한, 식물구계학적 특정식물종은 24과 28속 30종 30분류군이 확인되었다. 그 중 정밀 조사종은 Ⅳ등급 승마, 노랑제비꽃, 꼬리진달래 3분류군, Ⅲ등급 물박달나무, 산팽나무, 돌단풍, 긴잎산조팝나무, 노랑갈퀴, 미치광이풀, 올괴불나무, 광릉용수염, 애기감둥사초 9분류군이 확인되었다. 조사지역에서 확인된 귀화식물은 족제비싸리, 개망초 2분류군으로 귀화율은 전체 181종 0.9%로 분석되었다. This study was performed to investigate Flora of forest genetic resources reserve at Samgeun-ri, Uljingun in Korea Mt. Sae-duk. The vascular plants were collected 4 times from April 2009 to October 2009 were listed 181 taxa: 70 families, 133 genera, 159 species, 3 subspecies, 15 varieties and 4 forms. The 5 taxa were recorded in the surveyed sites as the endemic plants; Pulsatilla koreana, Chloranthus japonicus, Vaccinium hirtum var. koreanum and others. The 1 taxa were recorded in the surveyed sites as the rare plants; Crypsinus hastatus. The specific plants species which is categorized to Degree by the Ministryinus pecific pl appeared as 30 taxa: 24 families, 28 genera, 30 species. Degree Ⅳ was 3 species; Cimicifuga heracleifolia, Viola orieplanis, Rhododendron micranthum and Degree Ⅲ was 9 species; Betula davurtus, Celtis aurantiacs, Mukdenia rossiiee pciaea pseudocrenata, Vicia Crysenensisee copolia japonica, Lonicera piaeflorensoriiarrhena fauriei, Carex gifuensis The naturalized plants in surveyed area was 2 taxa; Amorpha fruticosa, Erigeron annuus and naturalization rate of all 181 taxa was 0.9% analysis.

        Fibromuscular Dysplasia with Cerebral Infarction in a Child - Case Report -

        An 11-year-old child presented with left hemiparesis and a seizure caused by fibromuscular dysplasia of the right internal carotid artery with cerebral infarction is presented. On conventional angiography, the authors found the classical ‘beaded’lesions. These pathognomic changes were most important to diagnosis. On brain single-photon emission computed tomography, we found the impaired vascular reserve of right basal ganglia, frontal and temporal area. We tried an antiplatelet agent and an encephaloduroarterio-synangiosis on the right hemisphere.         강원도 덕항산 석회암지대 산림식생의 군락지리 특성

        본 연구는 석회암이 나출되어 있는 덕항산지역 주요 산림식생을 중심으로 그 유형을 분류하고 군락지리적 특성을 분석하였다. 덕항산 능선부 일대 산림식생의 유형은 1개 군락군(신갈나무군락군), 3개 군락(개회나무-조록싸리군락, 소나무-철쭉군락, 소사나무-솔체꽃군락), 2개 군(소사나무-회양목군, 까치박달-사창분취군), 2개 소군(들메나무-부채마소군, 털댕강나무-솔나리소군)으로 총 5개 유형으로 구분되었다. 덕항산 군락지리형은 지형적 특이성, 아고산지대와의 인접성, 석회암 지대 등의 특징을 잘 나타내고 있다. 그리고 배수가 잘되는 약건조지에 출현하는 털대사초, 가는잎그늘사초 등의 고상재도는 석회암지대의 토양환경을 잘 대변해 주고 있으며 북방계 식물인 싸라기사초, 돌좀고사리 등은 인접한 아고산 식생의 특성을 보여주고 있다. 그리고 소사나무의 출현은 서식지 특이성에 의한 피난식생 특징을 나타내고 있는 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구 지역의 군락지리학적 특이성은 서식지 및 식물지리적 특이성이 결합되어 나타나고 있다. 그리고 식생학적 측면에서 한반도 군락 및 서식지 유형의 다양성 증진에 기여할 것으로 생각된다. This study classified the types of major forest vegetation and analyzed the syngeographical characteristics of the vegetation in the Mt. Deokhang with exhumed lime rocks. The forest vegetation on the ridge of Mt. Deokhang was classified into 1 community group, 3 communities, 2 groups, and 2 subgroups, 5 types in total. The syngeographical form of Deokhangsan fully exhibited the topographical peculiarity, proximity to subalpine, and limestone zone. In addition, Carex ciliato-marginata, Carex humilis var. nana, and so forth which appear as species with high consistency in the well-drained semiarid zone represent the soil environment of the lime stone area and northern plants such as Carex ussuriensis and Asplenium ruta-muraria represent the characteristics of the vegetation in alpestrine in close proximity. Moreover, the Carpinus turczaninowii in the area appears to show the characteristics of migratory vegetation due to the peculiarity of the habitat. The syngeographical characteristics of this study area show both the characteristics of the habitat and phytogeographic characteristics. Furthermore, they are expected to contribute to the diversity in community and habitat form in Korean peninsula in terms of vegetation science.
