Recently, the diet of middle aged Korean men is changing. Instead of eating Korean foods exclusively, they are consuming more Western foods which are often unhealthy. In addition, they are exercising less. These factors are leading to a rise in lifestyle related disease, such as diabetes, and dangerous medical conditions like hypertension. As a result, some middle aged men have taken up light exercise, such as hiking, walking, swimming etc. However, they don't know how to set up an exercise program, i.e. frequency of exercise, intensity, duration, etc. A 15 week exercise class was set up 36 middle aged men. Before the class began, a physical fitness and blood test were administered to each subject. The same tests were repeated after the 15th week. Based on the initial results, individual programs were prepared for each participant. A step calorie counter was supplied to measure their exercise activity. The step count results were checked everday, and based on the results, the subjects were divided into three groups for analytical purposes. The firts group, sixteen subjects(44%), averaged a little over 8,000 steps per day. The second group, eight subjects(22%), averaged between 8-10,000 steps per day. The third group, twelve subjects(33%), averaged a little over 10,000 steps per day. After fifteen weeks, the total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol of all subjects showed no significant change. The second and third group showing an especially marked decrease in blood sugar. Also, physical fitness improved for the second and third groups. In conclusion, both groups doing the most exercise showed improvement in their TG and blood sugar results. Blood pressure also decreased for these two groups, which was not true for the first group, also, physical fitness improved in the second and third groups, while the first group showed no significant change. It appears that exceeding a certain minimum level of exercise is required to achieve good results. What would happen if group 1 did the same exercise for longer than is weeks.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 12weeks' resistance training on Immunoglobulin in middle aged women. The subjects of this study employed 20 healthy middle aged women in Pu-san city. The study was conducted two (control group, experimental group) by two (pre-test, post-test) factorial design with data analyzed using ANCOVA. The result of this study was not significantly different in IgA, IgD, IgE, IgG, IgM between control group and training group. Therefore moderate weight traning was not change in Immunoglobulin. the following study is profoundly considerated not only immunoglobulin but also mitogen

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 12weeks' resistance training on the function of platelet in middle aged Men. The subjects of this study employed 20 healthy middle aged Men in IN-Cheon city. The study was conducted two (control group, experimental group) by two (pre-test, post-test) factorial design with data analyzed using ANCOVA. The result of this study was not significantly different in the platelet count between control group and training group. But, β-TG in experimental group was significantly low in comparision control group. This is mean that effects of resistant training on the prevention of ischemic coronary disease and other vascular pathologic alterations. Therefore ,The Regular physical exercise enhance the function of platelet.

This study was to investigate difference between exercise group and control group on the body composition, health related fitness and blood lipid levels in the middle aged women that have no disease and was not experience exercise. Exercise group was composed of fifteen and control group was composed of fifteen, so participant was arrange in random. The statistical technique used ANCOVA to inspect difference between two groups. The results of this study were as follows: 1. There was significant difference in 1600M run among two groups at .05 level and in sit-up, upper-bending, back strength, flexibility at .001 level. 2. There was significant difference in body weight, % fat, fat mass, lean body mass among two groups at .001 level. 3. There was significant difference in total-cholesterol, HDL-C, triglyceride, LDL-C among two groups at .001 level. In conclusion, The aerobic and weight complex exercise program that performed on middle aged women was efficient in enhancement of body composition, health related fitness and blood lipid levels.

We compared the nutritional requirements of whole larvae of the black seabream Acanthopagrus schlegeli, sweet fish Plecoglossus altivelis, olive flounder Paralichthys olivaeus and rock fish Sebastes schlegeli. The larvae were 20, 30, 14 and 5 DAH (or spawning) of black seabream, sweet fish, olive flounder and rock fish, respectively. Specific α-amylase activity (mU/mg protein) was highest (8,324.9 mU/mg protein) in rock fish larvae (P<0.05). Specific trypsin-like protease activity was highest (11,330.1 mU/mg protein) in black seabream larvae (P<0.05), which also exhibited the highest activity, 685.5 mU/mg dry weight (P<0.05). The specific activities per mg protein and mg dry weight of black seabream were the highest (187.4 mU/mg protein and 11.3 mU/mg dry weight, respectively) (P<0.05). A/P, P/L and A/L ratios of rock fish were 1.47, 90.3 and 133.1, respectively (P<0.05). We present here basic larval digestive enzymatic nutritional requirement data.
