Surgical Outcomes of Cor Triatriatum Sinister: A Single-Center Experience

Background: We investigated surgical outcomes after the surgical repair of cor triatriatum sinister (CTS). Methods: Thirty-two consecutive patients who underwent surgical repair of CTS from 1993 through 2020 were included in this study. The morphological characteristics, clinical features, and surgical outcomes were described and analyzed. Results: The median age and body weight at operation were 9 months (interquartile range [IQR], 3–238 months) and 7.5 kg (IQR, 5.8–49.6 kg), respectively. There were 16 males (50%). According to the modified Lucas classification, type IA (classical CTS) was most common (n=20, 62.5%). Atrial septal defect was associated in 22 patients (68.8%) and anomalous pulmonary venous return in 8 patients (25%). Pulmonary hypertension was preoperatively suspected with a high probability in 18 patients (56.3%). There was 1 early death (3.1%) after emergent membrane excision and hybrid palliation in a high-risk hypoplastic left heart syndrome patient. There were no late deaths. The overall survival rate was 96.9% at 15 years post-repair. No early survivors required reoperation during follow-up. Most survivors (31 of 32 patients, 96.9%) were in New York Heart Association functional class I at a median follow-up of 74 months (IQR, 39–195 months). At the latest echocardiography performed at a median of 42 months (IQR, 6–112 months) after repair, no residual lesion was observed except in 1 patient who had moderate pulmonary hypertension (mean pulmonary arterial pressure of 36 mm Hg). Conclusion: Surgical repair of cor triatriatum could be performed safely and effectively with an extremely low risk of recurrence.
退溪思想體系硏究를 위한 小考 – 그 리기묘합적(理氣妙合的) 사유 –

본고는 퇴계철학의 사상체계연구를 위한 소고(小考)이다. 본고에서는 퇴계 이황(退溪 李滉, 1501~1570)의 유학사상체계는 리기 이원적 사유가 아닌, 리기묘합적(理氣妙合的) 사유에 입각하고 있음을 논증한다. 이를 위해, 먼저 퇴계철학의 사상체계연구에 있어서, 실체에 입각한 근대 서양철학의 이분법적 이원론을 토대하고 있는 선행연구를 비판적으로 검토한다. 다음으로, 퇴계의 리기묘합적 사유의 존재론적 차원과 우주론적 차원을 분석하고, 그 두 차원에 나타나는 리기의 우주적 전개의 중층적 성격을 각각 리의 ‘능발’(能發)과 기의 미발(未發)적 차원과 리의 ‘현행’(顯行)’과 기의 이발(已發)적 차원으로 밝힌다. 이를테면, 리의 ‘능발’(能發)과 기의 미발(未發) 적 차원은 리의 능동적 발용이 기를 주재한다는 의미라면, 리의 ‘현행’(顯行)’과 기의 이발(已發)적 차원은 기의 능동적 발용에 따라 리가 제약된다는 뜻이다. 그리고, 리기묘합의 양 차원의 존재구조를 리재기중(理在氣中)과 호재기중(互在其中)으로 고찰하여, 리기의 우주적 전개가 존재론적 차원에서 우주론적 차원으로 분절없이 전개됨을 해명한다. 마지막으로, 리의 ‘능발’(能發)과 기의 미발(未發)적 차원과 리의 ‘현행’(顯行)’과 기의 이발(已發)적 차원을 각각 사단과 칠정과 연관시켜, ‘리발이기수지(理發而氣隨之)’와 ‘기발이리승지(氣發而理乘之)’의 의미를 재구성한다. 이와 같은 일련의 연구과정은 리기묘합적 사유에 입각한 퇴계철학의 정합한 사상체계를 보여준다. This paper aims to demonstrate Toegye Ihwang(退溪 李滉, 1501~1570)’s philosophy is none other than founded on his philosphical thought of li-gi myo hap (理氣妙合). For the purpose, while firstly reassessing a previous and more recent studies that conventionally define Toegye’s philosophy in terms of‘li-gi dualism(理氣二元論),’ grounded on the intractable notion of exclusive substance from Western philosophy, it sets up its research direction suitable for his philosophical thought. According to its research direction, the paper makes an deep analysis of the thought li-gi myo hap (理氣妙合) in light of the ontological and cosmological dimension, and reconstructs the meaning of libal-i-gisu ji(理發而氣隨之)and gibal-i-liseung ji(氣發而理乘之), by making a close inquiry of the marvelous function of li-gi myo young(理氣妙用) such like neungbal neungsaeng(能發能生) and neunghyeonhaeng(能顯行), and its ontological structure of ho jae gi jung (互在其中). The meaning reconstructed gets to be a theoretical rationale for Toegye’s development of sadan-chiljeong(四端七情) in doing pursuit of systematic consistency which is conformable to the thought of li-gi myo hap (理氣妙合) in his philosophy of ligi-simseong(理氣-心性).
입주자 사전점검표에 의한 공동주택 공종별 하자분류체계에 관한 연구

In Korea, recent supply of apartment house has increased continuously since 1950s, because of execution of constructive policy to resolve house-lack and to use land effectively. And many construction companies are competitively constructing high-price and high-quality apartment houses. But, the defect of apartment house isn't hardly decreased, because of complication of construction process and various reasons. So, the apartment brand value is fallen by these defects. For this reason, the counterplan reducing the defect of apartment house and establishing a system of mutual cooperation is needed. But recent studies are focused on analyzing type and reason of defect to use it for defect-preventing data. Although, these results offer the primary data of defect management in apartment house, these doesn't have enough accurate analysis and valuation for construction defect, because it doesn't reflect the defect according to the residents' checklist. Thus, this study suggested the basic defect division system and added work type to manage the defects effectively through analyzing tenant preliminary research of apartment house defect according to work types, and comparing the previous defect division system.
콩 품종에 다른 고형분 , 단백질 , 색소의 추출 특성의 비교

The solid and protein yields and extraction properties of color pigments were compared for 7 varieties of soybeans during soaking in water at 4-100℃. The varieties investigated were Paldal, Danyeob, ,Jangbaek, Baegun, Jangyeob and 2 cultivars of Local 1 and Local 2. The Hunter values showed that Jangbaek was the highest in 'L' value while other varieties except Local 1 and Local 2 were comparatively high in `L' value. Local 1 and Local 2 were low in `b' value. The yields of solid and protein during water extraction showed that most of solids and proteins were recovered with three consecutive extractions. The cumulated yields were 73.2 % for solid and 83.2 % for protein. Extraction of color pigments of seed coats in 4-100℃ water showed that the extraction rate was very much dependent on extraction time and temperature. A linear relationship of A=aT+b was obtained for equilibrated absorbance(A) and extraction temperature(T). The activation energy calculated from initial extraction rate of color pigments and temperature had two different values of low(4-60℃ and high(60-100℃) temperature range.
퍼지 보상기와 자기구성 신경회로망을 이용한 매니퓰레이터의 역기구학 해에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 퍼지 보상기와 자기구성 신경회로망을 이용하여 3축 매니퓰레이터의 역 기구학 해를 구하는 방법을 제안한다. 가우시안 위치 함수를 활성화 함수로 사용하는 자기구성 신경회로망은 학습 시작시 1개의 은닉층 노드를 가지고 학습을 하면서 점차적으로 은닉층의 노드수를 증가시킴으로서 최적의 노드수를 얻을 수 있으며, 퍼지 보상기는 신경회로망의 양호한 학습비를 얻는다. 이와 같이 시스템을 구성하여 빠른 학습속도와 학습비의 개선 그리고 빠른 정상상태로의 수렴을 확인하였다. We obtain a solution of inverse kinematic of 3 axis manipulator by using a self-organizing neral network(SONN) with a fuzzy compensator. The self-organizing neural network using the gaussian potential function as the activation function has one hidden layer in the first learning time. The network obtains the optimal number of node by increasing the number of hidden layer node through the learning, and the fuzzy compensator has the optimal loaming rate of neutral network. In this results, we can confirmed that the learning rate is improved and the rapid convergence to the steady-state.

우리나라예서 생산되는 장려품종 중 팔달, 단엽, 장백, 백운, 장염콩과 재래종 중 검정콩(Local 1), 갈색아주까리콩(Local 2) 등 7품종을 대상으로 수분흡수특성 및 부피변화에 대하여 조사하였다. 수분흡수의 특성에서 시료 품종 모두 40℃이상으로 온도가 증가하면서 평형에 도달한 무게증가율은 낮아졌으며 초기흡수속도에서는 60℃까지 증가하다가 그 이상의 온도에서는 큰 차이가 없었다. 수분 흡수속도상수는 4∼60℃의 범위에서 검정콩이 다른 품종들보다 높았으며, 갈색아주까리콩은 가장 낮았다. 수분흡수의 활성화에너지는 3,246 ㎈/mole에서 4,694㎈/mole의 범위였다. 부피증가속도는 장백과 검정콩이 빠른 경향이었고 팔달이 느린 경향을 보였으며 부피증가의 활성화에너지는 3,310 ㎈/mole에서 4,190 ㎈/mole의 범위였고 수화도의 온도 의존성(z값)은 무게증가로 계산한 것보다 부피증가로 계산한 값이 다소 높았다
간호대학생의 임상실습 시 의사소통 경험에 대한 현상학적 연구

Background: Unlike traditional quantitative study, this qualitative study is designed to understand and explore the experiences of nursing students’s communication in clinical nursing practicum. Methods: Participants were 15 nursing students from a university in Seoul who were selected by purposive sampling. They had been participated in clinical nursing practicum more than one semester. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observation from May 29, 2017 to June 8, 2017. Collected data were analyzed by Colaizzi’s phenomenological methodology. Results: As a result, 5 theme clusters were derived as follows: 1) the modeling of communication, 2) treatment as a student nurse, 3) respect as a nurse, 4) trauma after communication, and 5) sympathy in communication. This study identified the desire for nursing professionalism, psychological difficulties as negative emotionality, as well as positive emotionality of nursing students in clinical practicum. Conclusion: We should consider a nursing curriculum to prepare and improve the communication of nursing students before participating in clinical practicum. The concrete and systematic communication education would be useful for nursing students to participate clinical practicum effectively.

One-step seeded polymerization was used to prepare 7~10 μm of crosslinked monodisperse spheres with four crosslinking agents using 4.68 μm poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) seed particles in aqueous-alcoholic media in the absence of the swelling process. The crosslinking agents used were ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA), allyl methacrylate (AMA), 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) and trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (TMPTMA). The effects of the type and concentration of the crosslinking agents on the swelling, pore size, thermal property of the networks and morphology of the particles were studied. The chemical structures and concentrations of the crosslinking agents affected both the swelling ratio and the porosity of the networks. In addition, the chemistry of the reactive vinyl group and chain length of the crosslinking agents affected the stability of the monodisperse particles of the ultimate morphology.
