In wireless mesh sensor networks (WMSNs), sensor nodes are connected in the form of a mesh topology and transfer sensor data by multi-hop routing. A data aggregation method for WMSNs is required to minimize the number of routing hops and the energy consumption of each node with limited battery power. This paper presents a shortest path data aggregation method for WMSNs. The proposed method utilizes a simple hash function based on shuffled row major indexing for addressing sensor nodes. This allows sensor data to be aggregated without complex routing tables and calculation for deciding the next hop. The proposed data aggregation algorithms work in a fractal fashion with different mesh sizes. The method repeatedly performs gathering and moves sensor data to sink nodes in higher-level clusters. The proposed method was implemented and simulations were performed to confirm the accuracy of the proposed algorithms.

The extraction and application of object-oriented design information from legacy software are difficult because legacy software has large scale code and insufficient document. Existing studies analyzed Fortran code and extracted design information but cant convert design information to UML diagram. Also existing studies only mentioned specific step among reverse engineering processes so cant mention all processes of Fortran code reverse engineering. This paper designs and implements an object-oriented reverse engineering tool which produces class diagram of UML from legacy Fortran code. The object-oriented reverse engineering tool is composed of Fortran analysis tool, class creation tool and UML conversion tool. We can automatically get a class diagrams from a Fortran code when we use the suggested object-oriented reverse engineering tool. The gained class diagrams contributes to reduce the development cost and revitalize the code reuse.

Primary cardiac cancer is a very rare disease, as the prevalence is 0.001 to 0.03%. Primary cardiac angiosarcoma is one of the most frequent types of primary cardiac cancers, however, is characterized by extremely poor prognosis, as the mean survival is reported to be only three to four months, and optimal treatment is unknown. Here we report a patient of primary cardiac angiosarcoma with hemorrhagic pericardial effusion who achieved a durable response with tumor excision followed by concurrent chemoradiotherapy with docetaxel. A sixty year old male with underlying history of diabetes mellitus presented with rapidly progressing shortness of breath. Cardiac tamponade was diagnosed, and 420 cc of bloody fiuid was drained with pericardiocentesis. The patient`s blood pressure was restored to within normal limit after pericardial effusion drainage. Subsequent chest computed tomography scan, echocardiography and cardiac Magnetic Resonance Image revealed a 4.5x3.5cm sized infiltrative mass in the right atrium. Tumor excision was performed, of which pathologic findings revealed cardiac angiosarcoma with tumor involvement of resection margin. The patient underwent adjuvant radiotherapy (5000cGys/30fractions) with concurrent chemotherapy with docetaxel. There was no evidence of recurrence until ten months later, when multiple liver metastases were found on CT scan. Hepatic metastasectomy with periop chemotherapy with weekly paclitaxel was followed. As of Jul 2014, the patient is receiving chemotherapy with overall survival of 16 months and counting. Currently there are only three published case reports of cardiac angiosarcoma which showed response to radiation and taxane, and this is the fourth case report of successful treatment. Further investigation on this regimen is warranted.
실시간 리눅스 기반의 회전익 무인항공기 제어 소프트웨어 개발

본 논문은 실시간 운영체제인 Xenomai 를 사용하여, 회전익 무인항공기 소프트웨어 개발에 대한 내용을 설명하고 있다. 실시간 운영체제 사용하여 고정 순위 우선 스케줄링을 채택함으로써 데드라인의 타이밍(Timming) 결정성을 보장하였고, 이기종 시스템과의 호환성과 확장성을 고려하여 POSIX API 를 사용하여 멀티 쓰레드를 구현하였다. 또한 실시간 드라이버 모델(RTDM : Real-Time Driver Model)을 사용하여 획득한 데이터를 실시간 전송이 가능하도록 하였다. 본 논문은 실시간 운영체제를 무인항공기에 적용하고 구현된 비행제어 컴퓨터와 제어 소프트웨어를 비율 단조 스케줄링을 적용하여 무인항공기의 쓰레드들의 응답 속도 및 안정성을 보장하는 방안을 제시하였다.

Objectives The aim of this study was to identify associations between pneumo- or hemo-thorax presence and psychological distress in young males by using the Military Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MPI) test. Methods A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted on data from 19-year-old examinees that were admitted to the Military Manpower Administration in Korea between February 2009 and January 2010. A total of 1955 young males were enrolled in this study. Among them, a normal volunteer control group (n=1561) included individuals without a pneumo- or hemo-thorax. The pneumo- or hemo-thorax group (n=394) included individuals with a pneumo- or hemo-thorax. The latter group was divided into two subgroups : Group A (treated with conservative care or chest tube insertion, n=341) and Group B (treated with wedge resection, n=53). Results We compared each of three groups (Control group, Group A, Group B) by using covariance analysis. The somatization subscale score within the neurosis category was significantly higher in Group A (p<0.001) than in the Control group, and there was a tendency toward a higher somatization score in Group B than in the Control group (p=0.073). The other score categories (validity scale ; anxiety, depression, and personality disorder subscales for neurosis scale ; and psychopath scale) showed no significant differences among the three tested groups. Conclusion Conservative care or chest tube insertion group was associated with higher somatization symptom scores than that in the control group. The wedge resection group had a tendency toward a higher somatization score than that in the control group. The result indicate that individuals with a history of pneumo- or hemo-thorax may be more concerned about their body shape and/or general condition than those without such a history. Supportive intervention and psychiatric education approaches may be useful in relieving somatic distress
UV-curing kinetics and performance development of <i>in situ</i> curable 3D printing materials

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>As three-dimensional (3D) printing technology is emerging as an alternative way of manufacturing, the high resolution 3D printing device often requires systems such as drop jetting printing of <I>in situ</I> UV-curable photopolymers. Accordingly, the key issue is process control and its optimization to ensure dimensional accuracy, surface roughness, building orientation, and mechanical properties of printed structures, which are based on the time- and temperature-dependent glass transition temperature (<I>T<SUB>g</SUB> </I>) of the resin system under UV-curing. In this study, the UV-cure kinetics and <I>T<SUB>g</SUB> </I> development of a commercially available UV-curable acrylic resin system were investigated as a model system, using a differential scanning photocalorimeter (DPC). The developed kinetic model included the limited conversion of cure that could be achieved as a maximum at a specific isothermal curing temperature. Using the developed model, the <I>T<SUB>g</SUB> </I> was successfully described by a modified DiBenedetto equation as a function of UV curing. The developed kinetic model and <I>T<SUB>g</SUB> </I> development can be used to determine the 3D printing operating conditions for the overlay printing and <I>in situ</I> UV curing, which could ensure high-resolution and high-speed manufacturing with various UV-curing materials.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> UV-cure kinetic analysis were applied to a commercial Multi-jet 3D printing material. </LI> <LI> The developed kinetic model included the limited conversion of cure by temperature. </LI> <LI> The <I>T<SUB>g</SUB> </I> was described by a modified DiBenedetto equation as a function of UV curing. </LI> <LI> The developed kinetic model showed an excellent agreement to isothermal experiments. </LI> <LI> The overlay printing time for each isothermal temperature was determined. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
