        This study was carried out to investigate the current nutritional problems owing to the increased consumption of westernized food in Korea and also was conducted to compare the nutritional characteristics of Korean traditional meal with those of the Western diet in similar serving size. The results obtained from nutritional evaluation are as follows: 1. The percentage of calories represented by carbohydrate: lipid: protein was 65:15:20 respectively for Korean traditional meal (Table setting of 3 Chop) therefore these ratios meet the dietary recommended allowances for Koreans. 2. Nutrient values of Korean traditional 3-Chop were shown to be better balanced than those of Western diet when the nutrients of the two types of diet were estimated by similar serving sizes and calories. 3. Compared to the Korean traditional meal, most fast foods were nutritionally imbalanced especially in that most of them showed higher amounts of fats. These results show that Korean traditional meals supply ideal nutrient intakes in contrasts to the westernized diet, therefore much work remains in developing a variety of menus and standard recipes for Korean traditional meals according to the changes in diet trends as well as emphasing the importance of Korean traditional meals as part of an ideal, well-banlanced diet.

      • 성신여자대학교 교내 및 학교 주변 음용수 검사

        성신여자대학교 교내 및 주변 음식점의 물이 음용수로써 적합한지의 여부를 검사하였다. 검수 속의 금속 및 중금속이온은 원자흡수분광법을, 무기 음이온은 이온쌍 크로마토그래피법을, 그리고 휘발성 유기물질은 Purge & Trap과 기체크로마토그래피법을 각각 이용하여 분석하였으며 물속에 들어 있는 대장균과 일반세균의 검출은 계절별로 실시하였다. 교내 검수 결과 대부분의 경우 금속 및 중금속 이온, 무기물 음이온, 휘발성 유기물질들은 환경부에서 제시한 기준치 이하로 검출되었으며 세균의 경우 일반 세균의 양은 기준치를 약간 넘는 양이었으나 대장균은 검출되지 않았다. 정수기를 통과한 물인 경우 일반 세균의 수가 감소한 것으로 보아 정수기의 필터만 잘 관리한다면 일반 세균까지도 제거할 수 있다는 장점을 나타내었다. 학교 주변의 경우도 대부분 기준치 이하로 존재하였으나 세균검사의 경우 여름철로 들어서서는 일반 세균의 검출수도 많아졌으며 특히 대장균이 검출된 경우도 있었다. Analysis of drnking water in and around Sungshin Women's University was carried out using Atomic absorption spectrometer for metal and heavy metal ion, Ion pair chromatography system for inorganic anions, and Purge & Trap and Gas chromatography system for volatile organic compounds. In addition we also measured the drinking water for bacteria and coli each season. Most chemical species in the school's drinking water tested below the maximum levels suggested by Korea's Ministry of Environment. Moreover, the number of bacterial colony is just above the suggested levels and there is no detection of coli. Around school the results were almost identical; however in the summer, some of the sampling water showed coli and an increase of bacterial colonies. The most significant result is there is much less or no detection of bacteria and coli in drinking water from clean sources than in water from unclean sources.

      • 고령토로부터 알루미나 추출에 관한 연구(Ⅱ) : 질산에 의한 추출

        The preparation conditions of alumina powder extracted from domestic San-Cheong Kaolin by nitric acid were investigated. The experimental conditions which have an effect on the yield of alumina were as follows ; the calcination temperature and time, the acid concentration, the reaction temperature and time, pH of the extracted solution, and particle size of the raw material. The aggolomeration of pseudo-boehmite precipitated by NH₄OH at pH 8 was controlled by various drying methods. α-Al₂O₃powder prepared by heating of the dried powder for 1 hour at 1200℃. Under the optimum condition, the yield and purity of α-Al₂O₃powder were 73.6 percent and 95.5 percent, respectively. The alumina particles prepared by the freeze drying method revealed narrower size distribution and less agglomerate than others. And impurities of the raw material which have an effect on the extraction of alumina were Kyanite and Anorthite.

        Evolution of microstructure and its relation with hardness in the modified 9%Cr-1%Mo steel which was isothermally heat-treated has been investigated in various heat-treatment temperatures and time of duration. For microstructural and crystallographic analyses, optical microscope, scanning and transmission electron microscopes, energy dispersive spectrometer, and X-ray diffractometer were used. Vickers microhardness tester were used for the measurement of hardness. Precipitates of the complex M23C6, M(C,N) formed at grain boundaries and interiors of grains had led to the secondary hardening. Normalized specimen and all of the isothermally heat-treated ones showed no evidence of retained austenite.

        After the world-wide environmental disruption emerged clearly in 1960s, the international conservation movement including environmental education was brought about through several international conferences. In spite of the worst situation of the environment in Korea, the education for the recovery it seems to be retarded and inefficient. Outdoor education deals with the nature directly and also includes interdisciplinary materials, which are common to the character of environmental education. To improve the environment in Korea, outdoor education should run with the thought that it is one of the most important elements of, and can contribute remarkably to, environmental education.

        6kW 풍력발전기의 출력곡선 측정

        The power performance monitoring system for a small class of wind turbine is established. The wind turbine power performance characteristics are determined by measured power curve and the estimated annual energy production (AEP). The measured power curve is determined by collecting simultaneous measurements of wind speed and power output at the test site under varying wind conditions. In order to determine the power performance characteristics of the wind turbine accurately, the data are of sufficient quantity and quality shall be corrected according to defined criteria. In this study, the 6kW wind turbine made by Germany Inventus GmbH is examined.

      • Poly(ρ-phenylenesulfide)와 Poly(ρ-phenylene)으로부터 제조된 탄소의 리튬 이온 2차전지 anode 재료로서의 전기화학적 특성

        Poly(p-phenylenesulfide)와 poly(p-phenylene)으로부터 제조된 탄소를 리튬이온 2차전지용 음극재료로 사용하여 전기화학적특성을 연구하였다. 이들 고분자들을 질소 분위기하에서 승온속도 2℃/min로 1000℃까지 상승시킨 후, 1시간 동안 탄화시켜 탄소를 제조하였다. Poly(p-phenylene)으로부터 제조된 탄소가 보다 더 규칙적인 구조를 가지기 때문에 Poly(p-phenylenesulfide)으로부터 제조된 탄소보다 더 많은 용량과 충방전 효율을 나타내었다. 수산화리튬과 염화주석(Ⅱ)을 첨가하여 용량의 증가와 충방전 효율의 증가를 가져올 수 있었다. 이중에서 poly(p-phenylene)에 염화주석(Ⅱ)을 첨가시켜 제조된 탄소가 가장 큰 충방전 용량과 충방전 효율의 향상을 가져왔다. Carbon inaterials manufactured from poly(p-phenylene sulfide) and poly(p-phenylene), were studied on electrochemical characteristics as anode materials for lithium ion secondary battery. These polymer precursors were heat treated for 1hr at 1000℃ with the rate 2℃/min under nitrogen atmosphere. Carbon manufactured from poly(p-phenylene) showed higher capacity and coulomb efficiency of charge/discharge than carbon from poly(p-phenylene sulfide) because the former has better ordered structure. Carbon manufactured from polymer precursors adding stannous chloride or lithium hydroxide showed higher capacity and better efficiency of charge/discharge. Also, carbon manufactured by adding stannous chloride to poly(p-phenylene) showed the highest capacity and efficiency of charge/discharge.

      • 사회계층구조별 사회체육참여자에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the social stratification of regular sport participants. Data were collected from 842 adults who were belonging to the Public sport facilities or the private facilities, and were sport leaders at Kwang-ju. Cluster analysis of their some status variables (occupational prestige, academic career, annual income and life style) revealed that there were six straticational clusters among men and four among women. From the distribution ratio of these clusters, it could be pointed ours that: 1) Regular sport participants belonged to the middle class or more, and more than half of them came from the upper class and its starting cluster. 2) As their occupation, non-manual labor predominated (87.5%). 3) Most participants in the private facilities and sport leaders came front above the middle upper class

        측정시스템의 효율적 운영에 관한 실증적 연구 : 中小製造企業을 中心으로

        「All things possibly could be measured.」, measurement is a essential part in all kinds of industry, especially in manufacturing. Korean Industrial Standard has been established and announced in September, 1961. Measurement has been emphasized. But until now, measurement hasn't been located to the core of manufacturing in domestic. So, this study suggests improvement guide line for the multilateral problems of measurement system based on the investigation of 146 small and medium-sized enterprises in April, 2002.
