        운동성 산화 스트레스와 항산화비타민의 보충이 말초단핵세포의 NF-kB 활성에 미치는 영향

        Reactive oxygen species(ROS) are implicated in the pathogenesis of a wide variety of human diseases. Numerous studies indicate that ROS may serve as common intracellular molecules that contribute to the process of nuclear factor(NF)κB activation in response to a diverse stimuli. In our laboratory, we have demonstrated tat antioxidants could reverse the decline of immune function caused by exercise-induced ROS. Furthermore, it in necessary to understand a mechanism underlying ROS-dependent disorder in biological system. Recent studies have been shown that several gene expression were regulated by oxidants, antioxidants and other determinants of the intracellular reduction-oxidation(redox) state. In this process, NF-κB have been shown to play a important role. The purpose of the present investigation was to evaluate the effect of exercise-induced oxidative stress and antioxidnt supplementation on NF-κB activation in peripheral mononuclear cells. Forty male SD rats(4 weeks old) were randomly divided into noraml diet group and antioxidants(ATO) supplement group, and then ATO groups were treated with antioxidants(VE: 2001U/kg, VC: 50mg/rat, β-carotene: 300mg/kg, vitamin B6: 250㎍/100g, selenomethionine: 0.1mg/kg) for 16 weeks. After 16 weeks breeding at each condition, each group divided into two groups: Control group(CR) fed generally, Exercise group(CE) fed generally and followed by acute exercise 16 weeks later. Antioxidant Antioxidants and Exercise group(AE) fed with antioxidants and followed by acute exercise. The activation of NF-κB binding activity was increased after exhaustive exercise bout in both group. In addition, pretreatment of ATO group with the antioxidants mixture lead to the inhibition of NF-κB binding activity. This results suggest that NF-κB activation should be further studies in response to a variety of exercise.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate tendencies on land use in the housing site development district by grasping the characteristics of changes of building use at the borders of single-detached housing area for planning single-detached housing area in the future. It is divided the borders of detached housing areas into three types, educational facility, parks and green spaces, and apartment complex, and then analyzed the characteristics of each location after a field study. It is summarized as follows. First, there were stationery and flour-based meal stores in adjacent borders near educational facilities, suitable for students' interest and motion patterns, and it is required to consider about frequent children's action in the street. Second, there are many facilities for park users and residents, such as educational institutes and restaurants in adjacent to borders near parks. In borders neighboring buffer green belt areas, warehouses and vacant sites were mainly distributed. And the revitalization of streets was lower than others, because a road was used as a parking space. Third, there were realty dealers, food stores, and laundries which provide the dwellers with service in adjacent borders near multi-family housing.

        Devastates by war in the early 1950's and without benefit of any significant resources, the Korean economy has achieves remarkable growth and a significant improvement in the standard of living in the past 20 years. At the same time, Korea experienced a rapid structural transformation from a rural backward economy to a semi-industrial state. These measures have also improved the balance of payments and created greater job opportunities. Such performance has largely relied on the development planning. The government planning system which was imported from Korean army has been established in 1961 after military revolution. The government planning organizations are the Economic Planning Board and the Office of Planning Coordination for the Prime Minister. The Economic Planning Board was established under the Prime Minister for the purpose of taking charge of the affairs pertaining to the formulation of general development plan for the national economy. The Minister of Economic Planning Board controls and coordinates matters of interminitries with regard to the planning and management of national economy according to the order of the Prime Minister. The Office of Planning Coordination was set up under the Prime Minister for the purpose of assisting the Prime Minister with regard to the coordination, evaluation and analysis of various plans of central administrative organs. The First Five-Year Economic Plan has been implemented from 1962, and the year of 1981 is the last year of the Forth Five-Year Economic Development Plan. The coming year, 1982, the government is going to carry out the fifth One. In its nature, the development plans of Korea can be characterized as the Indicative planning which hare aimed at building up a framework of national economic activities and suggesting enterprising directions for the private sector. A rolling plan was adopted in order to allow greater flexibility in planning and readjustment in view of the rapidly changing economic circumstances on both the domestic and foreign fronts. In the light of the enlarged scale and specialization of investment projects, feasibility studies were undertaken to critically evaluate investment priorities. The Office of Planning Coordination for the Prime Minister had coordinated the one year basic programs of each central administrative organ and evaluated and analyzed the implementation of basic programs four times a year and reported them to the President untill October, 1981. On October 1981, the Office of Planning Coordination for the Prime Minister was abolished and the function of the coordination of the basic programs and the evaluation and analysis were transfered to EPB in order to synthesize the procedures of planning and budget. The positive intervention of government in the private sector has brought, in some sense, the Korean miracle. However, at the present state of the national economy, it seems more effective to lessen the excessive government intervention and regulation and to prompt the initiatives and incentives of the private sector. The broadened opportunities of the private sector for the economic development processes would ensure another Korean success.

        The policy making processes in general can be articulated into five steps of problem formation, formulation, adoption, implementation, and evaluation. However, the National Development Planning processes in Korea might be characterized by four steps : problem identification, plan formulation, implementation, and evaluation. In the process, the National Assembly has not much job to do with the plan adoption. The four steps mentioned above can be more interpreted as follows : 1) Problem identification means that planners collect data on economic and social condition or On needs from citizens and they analyze them. 2) For the plan formulation, the Economic Planning Board (EPB), based on the data analyses, manages various committees which have duties of establishing plan guidelines, coordinating alternatives, drafting final version of plan, and its mortification. 3) As the plan is chosen, EPB establishes one year economic plan in terms of resources and monetary supply and directs it to organs. And based on the one year plan, each government organ designs its own implementation machinery and performs the plan through it and with its own staff. And 4) The plan is evaluated with respect to the validity and future effects of plan itself. However, the plan is often evalauated by the feedback mechanism throughout the implementation stage. Evaluation may continue, or modify the existing plan. The Five-Year Economic Development Plans of Korea have bean ctiefly prepared by government economists who are government officials working for the various government organs. However, they never neglected opinions and ideas from various interest groups and political parties. They delightfully have invited plan experts from private sector to have effective plans.

      • 한국무용 참가동기와 생활만족의 구조방정식 모형 분석

        This study was to analyze the life satisfaction by korean dance participation's motivation. Specifically. this study was to test relationship among, participation motivation, active satisfaction and life satisfaction. The subjects(N=191) were selected in highschool and university located at Kwangju province by convenience random sampling. This study organized a self-administration reporting questionaire which was named<The survey on the life satisfaction by korean dance participation's motivation>. The result of reliability about questionaire was Chronbach' a=.758-902. The reliability analysis and SEM were used as statistic analysis techniques. On the basis of the results, the conclusions were drawn as follows; First. There was a signfticant influence between outer participating motivation and active satisfaction. Second, There was a significant influence between active satisfaction and life satisfaction. Third, the model which was generally coincided on X^(2) = 145.701 (P=.000), RMSEA = .073, TLI = .939, NFI = .910, CFI = .952, explained adequate relationship among korean dance participation's motivation, active satisfaction and life satisfaction.

        After Korea's liberation from Japanese colonial rule, the American Military Authority in Korea temporarily took charge of administering the southern part of Korea peninsula for the transitional period of 1945-1948. The Republic of Korea's Constitution was first promulgated on 17 July 1948 and the Government of the Republic of Korea was established on 15 August 1948. Korean Government organizations have been reformed 31 times from 1948 to 1981. The Republic is articulated into five separate periods. The characteristics of the government organizational reform of each period are as follow : For the First Period(the First Republic 1948-1960), the size of government had been expanded in order to maintain the national independence and manage the foreign aids for the rehabilitation of war damages. In the Second Period(the Second Republic 1960-1961), the Second Republic of the parliamentary cabinet type similar to the British model aimed at reforming of the economic administrative organs to facilitate the development of the national economy, but the attempt was not carried into effect due to the Military Revolution. During the Third Period (the Third Republic 1961-1972), the government organizations concerning with economic affairs had been expanded to launch the First and Second Five-Year Economic Devlopment Plan from 1962 and run a high speed economic growth. In the Fourth Period (the Fourth Republic 1972-1979), after the October Revitalizing Reforms in 1972, the government organizations were extended to assist the development of the heavy and chemical industries and the regional development programs. For the Fifth Period(the Interim Government of 1979∼1981 and the Fifth Republic of 1981∼) , the size of government organizations were reduced and coordinated in order to integrate the overlapping functions among the ministries and to stove administrative costs in October 1981.

      • CT 유도하의 경피적 폐생검 : 임상적 의의 및 합병증에 관한 연구 A Study of Clinical Significance and Complication

        Purpose : To determine the diagnostic accuracy and predicting factor of pneumothorax on CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy. Materials and Methods : Using automated biopsy devices, 107 CT-guided percutaneous needle biopsies of pulmonary lesions were performed. Final diagnosis was made with operation or other methods. We retrospectively analyzed the frequency of complications and diagnostic yields of 107 biopsies. The clinical features, treatment, and courses of complications were reviewed, and risk factors of pneumothorax such as depth and size of lesion, CT emphysema score of whole lung and pathway of needle, and the result of pulmonary function test were analyzed. Result : 96 biopsies(89.7%) yielded sufficient tissue for pathologic evaluation. For cases of malignant and benign disease, sensitivity was 91.5% and 87.5% respectively; the corresponding figures for diagnostic accuracy were 88.1% and 77.1%. So, sensitivity and diagnostic accuracy of percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy was 89.7% and 83.2%. Eighteen(16.8%) of 107 patients developed pneumothorax and 3 of these required application of chest tube or percutaneous catheter drainage. In the group with pneumonthorax, the lesion was significantly smaller(p=0.029) and higher CT emphysema score of pathway of needle(p=0.032). But there were no significant difference between two groups(with or without pneumothorax) for depth of lesion, pulmonary function test(% predictive value of FEV1 and FEV1/FVC) and CT emphysema score of whole lung. Conclusion : CT-guided transthoracic needle biopsy of the pulmonary lesions is safe and easy method of obtaining specimens of good quality and quantity. It may be an useful procedure in the diagnosis of localized pulmonary lesions. For the prediction of pneumothorax, size of lesion and CT emphysema score of pathway of a needle are significant risk factors.

        측모 두부 방사선사진과 컴퓨터 영상사진(Dolphin Imaging System)의 계측치에 관한 비교

        The purpose of this study was to compare the differences in measurements between cephalometric radiographs and digigraphs of Dolphin Imaging System. 26 Korean adult male and 24 adult female with normal occlusion were selected. For each subject lateral cephalogram was taken. Digitizing with Digigraph Work Station of Dolphin Imaging System. was performed as well. 50 tracings and 50 digigraphs were analyzed with Yonsei, Ricketts, Burstone analyses. The comparable measurements between tracing group and digigraph group were statistically analyzed. The results were as follows : 1. 13 of 64 comparable measurements did not show any statistically significant difference (P>0.05) between tracing group and digigraph group. 2. Three of the measurements with FH plane as a reference plane did not show any statistically insignificant difference. All measurements with SN plane as a reference plane showed statistically significant difference(p<0.05). 3. The measurements which showhed no statistically significant difference were mostly short distance linear measurements while most of the angular measurements showed statistically significant difference(p<0.05).

        The main line of an automotive assembly plant normally consists of a body line, a painting line, and an assembly line. For determining the production sequence, leveling of heavy options is the major concern for body line and assembly line whereas production of bodies with the same color consecutively is more important in case of the painting line. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for generating the production sequence plan for an automotive assembly plant having the dual painting booths. The proposed algorithm turns out very effective in terms of the global performance measure of the assembly plant.

      • 소아에서 알레르기 증상과 알레르겐 특이항체와의 관련성

        To evulate usefulness of application of MAST-CLA to identify allergens in children, authors conducted MAST-CLA allergen-specific IgE assay and collected allergy related symptoms in 88 pediatric allegic patients diagnosed at Soonchunhyand University Chunan Hospital during October 1998 through January 2000. The mean (SD) age of study subjects was 8.8(3.2) years. The frequent allergic symptoms were rhinorrhea (40.9%), nasal stuffiness(38.6%), cough(36.4%), sneezing(35.2%), and itching sensation(28.4%) in order. Among them, 56.8% revealed at least more than one allergen specific IgE by MAST-CLA. The three most frequent specific allergens were Dermatophagoides farinae(52.3%) Dermatophagies pteronyssinus(51.1%), and house dust(35.2%). The positive rate of allergen specific IgE was increased by increasing age(P<0.001). Among the symptoms the sneezing showed most high positive rate of allergen specific IgE(80.7%) and total IgE(80.7%). In multivariate analysis, significant odds ratios remained(adjusted OR-4.66, P=0.004). In conclusion, our data suggest that allergic symptoms are associated with allergen-specific IgE using MAST-CLA assay, which is an useful measure for identification of causative allergens in pediatric allergen patients.
