The purpose of this study was to identify the factors associated with dietary attitudes and dietary self-efficacy of juvenile delinquents. Out of 110 questionnaires distributed to the juvenile detention home students in Daegu, and 150 questionnaires distributed to the juvenile detention home students in Anyang, 210 were analyzed (80.7% analysis rate). These data were analyzed by SPSS program. The results are summarized as follows. Almost all parents’ educational levels showed ‘graduation of middle school’, and only 43.8% of the juvenile detention students were living with parents. In case of incoming status, average income per month was 2,000,000 won, which was lower than normal one. Diet attitude score was higher in boy students than girl students (p < 0.05). There was a higher score of diet attitude in higher educational levels of father. The average score of dietary self-efficacy was 2.51 ± 0.86. This value was lower than the normal juvenile. There was a higher diet attitude score in the higher dietary self-efficacy score (p < 0.001). Therefore, proper nutrition education is required to improve their dietary self-efficacy. The results of this study could be useful data to plan and develop nutritional education programs of juvenile delinquents.
Production of Anti-Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Monoclonal Antibody in Serum-Free Medium

간염 바이러스 표면 항원에 대한 단일클론 항체를 생산하는 하이브리도마 세포 2c3.1의 대량배양을 위하여 무혈청 배지를 조성하였다. 2c3.1 세포를 RPM1 1640 배지와 Ham's F12 배지의 여러 부피비에 배양함으로써 세포성장이 가장 좋은 비의 배지를 기본 영양배지로 선택하였다. 세포 성장을 증가시키기 위하여 무혈청 배지 첨가물들을 여러 농도로 변화시켜 기본영양배지에 첨가함으로써 각 첨가물들의 농도를 결정하였다. 무혈정 배지 첨가물은 0.45% 인혈청 알부민, 10㎍/㎖ insulin, 10㎍/㎖ transferrin 등을 사용하고, 0.17㎍/㎖ fat emulsion(Intralipos^R:0.125㎍/㎖ soybean oil, 0.015㎍/㎖ ovolecithin, 0.03㎍/㎖ glycerin), 0.01㎍/㎖ 비타민 E와 0.02㎍/㎖ 비타민 E 아세테이트, 그리고 10uM monoethanolamine 등의 적정 농도를 2c3.1 세포의 무혈청 배양에 사용하였다. 이 무혈정 배지에서 대수 증가적으로 증식하는 하이브리도마 세포는 10% 우태아혈청을 사용한 배지에서 보다 비증식속도와 최대 세포농도에서 다소 낮으나, 단일클론항체는 혈청 사용 배지의 43㎍/㎖보다 다소 높은 50㎍/㎖가 생성됨으로써 이 하이브리도마로부터 단일클론항체를 생산하기 위하여 조성된 무혈정 배지가 10% 우태아혈청 배지를 대신할 수 있음을 보였다. For the large-scale cultivation of murine hybridoma 2c3.1 cells secreting anti-Hepatitis B surface antigen(anti-HBsAg)monoclonal antibody(MAb), we have constructed a serum-free medium. The serum-free medium was supplemented with human serum albumain, insulin, transferrin, fat emulsion(Intralipos^R:soybean oil, ovolecithin, glycerin), vitamin E, vitamin E acetate, and monoethanolamine in a mixture of RPMI 1640 and Ham's F12 medium. The cells in serum-free medium propagated logarithmically without lag period, and the maximum concentration of anti-HBsAg monoclonal antibodies secreted by 2c3.1 cells was higher than that in 10% fetal bovine serum(FBS) medium. The serum-free medium was enough to substitute 10% FBS medium in respect of MAb production.
A New Disease Resistant and High Yielding Vegetable Peanut “Jaseon”

A new vegetable peanut variety “Jaseon”(Arachis hypogaea ssp. fastigiata.) was developed at the Department of Functional Crop, NICS, in Milyang in 2011. It was developed from the cross between the Large grain cultivar “YG60” and the short stem cultivar “YG55”. “Jaseon” which is Shipung plant type has 43cm main stem length and 11 branch number per plant. Each pod has two grains with brown testa with long-ellipse shaped large kernel and dried 100-seed weight was 105g in the regional yield trials(RYT). The Sucrose and tannin content of fresh peanut are 25.0mg/g and 4.4mg/g, respectively. This variety also showed more resistant to late leaf spot, stem rot and lodging, compared with check variety, Palkwang. In the regional yield trials “Jaseon” was outyielded than check variety by 15% with 10.21MT/ha for fresh pod and by 11% with 4.37MT/ha for dried kernel.
간종괴의 감별진단에 있어서 AFP수치와 HBsAg의 의의

급속조영 전산화단층촬영에서 다른 간종과의 감별이 어려운 간세포암의 경우 AFP수치의 상승과 HBsAg 양성은 간세포암을 시사하는 유용한 지표이며 종괴의 모양과 조영양상을 같이 고려한다면 간종괴의 감별진단에 많은 도움을 주리라생각한다. Hepatic masses show different enhancing patterns in IV bolus computed tomography: Hepatocellular carcinoma shows high-attenuation in the early enhancing phase and low-attenuation is the late enhancing phase, hemangioma shows peripheral dot-like high-attenuation in the early enhancing phase and central high-attenuation in the late enhancing phase, and metastatic cancer and cholangiocelluar carcinoma show peripheral high-attenuation rim in the early enhancing phase and central portion gradually high-attenuation in the late enhancing phase. but sometimes enhancing patterns of the hepatic masses are confuse. To evaluate the significance of the AFP level and HBsAg in differentiation of the hepatic masses, we retrospectively analyzed AFP level and HBsAg in 228 pathologically or radiologically confirmed hepatocellular carcinomas, and 137 pathologically nonhepatocellular cacinomas. The results were as follows: In hepatocellular carcinoma, AFP level above 20ng/ml was 77.8% and HBsAg positve was 72.6%. In nonhepatocellular carcinoma, AFP level above 20ng/ml was 3.7% and HBsAg positve was 16.1%. We concluded that AFP level and HBsAg are helpful to distinguish hepatocellular carcinoma from nonhepatocellular carcinoma, when IV bolus computed tomogram finding is uncertain.
