        A Day-Ahead Optimization Method of Source–Load Coordination for Power System Using Demand Response and Stackelberg Game

        The continuous expansion of renewable energy sources and their ongoing integration into existing power networks, alongside the emergence of new types of loads, has led to signifcant new challenges emerging for power grid source–load coordination scheduling in recent years. To fully harness the demand response (DR) potential of the load side of such systems, this paper proposes an optimal scheduling method based on DR and the Stackelberg game. A Stackelberg game model is established to formulate day-ahead source–load coordinated scheduling problem, taking account of the stochastic dynamic characteristics of the load response process and user electricity consumption satisfaction with electricity consumption. The model is essentially a strongly nonlinear optimization problem, however; thus, to avoid several of the limitations seen in traditional optimization methods, a data-model fusion-driven method is proposed, with electricity prices formulated by the data-driven method used as input for a model-driven method whose output is then used in turn to guide a data-driven formulation of electricity prices. Case studies on IEEE test systems are used to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed method.

        On QoS Routing and Path Establishment in the Presence of Imprecise State Information

        In large networks, maintaining precise global network state information is impossible. The imprecise network state information has significant impacts on Quality-of-Service(QoS) routing and path establishment. In this paper, we develop analytical models for investigating the QoS routing schemes that are designed to tolerate imprecise network state information, and study the performance of various QoS routing schemes, including randomized routing, multi-path routing, and probability based routing, using both the models and simulations. We further propose a new mechanism, called local rerouting, that improves the effectiveness of QoS path establishment in the presence of imprecise global network state information. Local rerouting is orthogonal to existing schemes for dealing with imprecise state information and can be used in conjunction with them to alleviate the impacts of the imprecise information. The results of our performance study indicate that local rerouting is robust and effective.

        Differences in liver microRNA profiling in pigs with low and high feed efficiency

        Feed cost is the main factor affecting the economic benefits of pig industry. Improving the feed efficiency (FE) can reduce the feed cost and improve the economic benefits of pig breeding enterprises. Liver is a complex metabolic organ which affects the distribution of nutrients and regulates the efficiency of energy conversion from nutrients to muscle or fat, thereby affecting feed efficiency. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs that can regulate feed efficiency through the modulation of gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. In this study, we analyzed miRNA profiling of liver tissues in High-FE and Low-FE pigs for the purpose of identifying key miRNAs related to feed efficiency. A total 212~221 annotated porcine miRNAs and 136~281 novel miRNAs were identified in the pig liver. Among them, 188 annotated miRNAs were co-expressed in High-FE and Low-FE pigs. The 14 miRNAs were significantly differentially expressed (DE) in the livers of high-FE pigs and low-FE pigs, of which 5 were downregulated and 9 were upregulated. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analysis of liver DE miRNAs in high-FE pigs and low-FE pigs indicated that the target genes of DE miRNAs were significantly enriched in insulin signaling pathway, Gonadotropin-releasing hormone signaling pathway, and mammalian target of rapamycin signaling pathway. To verify the reliability of sequencing results, 5 DE miRNAs were randomly selected for quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). The qRT-PCR results of miRNAs were confirmed to be consistent with sequencing data. DE miRNA data indicated that liver-specific miRNAs synergistically acted with mRNAs to improve feed efficiency. The liver miRNAs expression analysis revealed the metabolic pathways by which the liver miRNAs regulate pig feed efficiency.

        当前我国正处于实现中华民族伟大复兴的关键时期, 思想政治教育课担负着立德树人的教育教学任务。现如今, 虽然高中思想政治教育课已经有了一定的进步和发展, 但是其课堂教学仍存在一定的问题。其问题不仅在于思想政治教育课教师的教学方法上, 在课堂氛围和教学主客体方面也存在一定的问题, 而问题的原因则主要存在于教学改革、教师素质等方面。只有针对问题提出相应的解决对策, 才能使得教学具有更好的课堂效果, 继而提高高中生的思想道德素质, 从而使得国民素质得到整体提升。 At present, our country is in a critical period of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and the ideological and political education class is responsible for the education and teaching task of cultivating morality. Nowadays, although high school ideological and political education courses have made certain progress and development, there are still certain problems in their classroom teaching. The problem lies not only in the teaching methods of ideological and political education teachers, but also in the classroom atmosphere and teaching subject and object. The causes of the problems mainly lie in teaching reform and teacher quality. Only by proposing corresponding solutions to the problems can teaching have a better classroom effect, and then improve the ideological and moral quality of high school students, so that the overall quality of the people can be improved.

        Localization of Subsurface Targets Based on Symmetric Sub-array MIMO Radar

        For the issue of subsurface target localization by reverse projection, a new approach of target localization with different distances based on symmetric subarray multipleinput multipleoutput (MIMO) radar is proposed in this paper. By utilizing the particularity of structure of the two symmetric subarrays, the received signals arejointly reconstructed to eliminate the distance information from the steering vectors. The distanceindependent direction of arrival (DOA) estimates are acquired, and the localizations of subsurface targets with different distances are realized by reverse projection. According to the localization mechanism and application characteristics of the proposed algorithm, the grid zooming method based on spatial segmentation is used to optimize the locaiton efficiency. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed localization method and optimization scheme.

        Computational Fluid Dynamics Modeling of an Inverted Frustoconical Shaking Bioreactor for Mammalian Cell Suspension Culture

        We previously developed an inverted frustoconical shaking bioreactor (IFSB) which had high mammalian cell culture performance when compared with a mechanically stirred tank reactor (STR) or a flat-bottom shaking bioreactor (FBSB). Here, we determined the mixing time (t) and volumetric oxygen transfer coefficient (kLa) of this IFSB at various speeds, and simulated the fluid hydrodynamics, including the shear stress and specific surface area, by computational fluid dynamics. The shortest mixing time was observed in a STR. The maximum kLa value of 12/h was achieved in the IFSB at an aeration rate of 4 L/h, demonstrating that our IFSB has enhanced oxygen transfer capabilities needed to meet the demands of mammalian cells. Simulation studies revealed a 3% greater specific surface area and a 21% lower shear strain in the IFSB compared to an FBSB under the same conditions. Additionally, the conical angle of the vessel, which significantly affected cell growth and recombinant protein production,was tested here. We conclude that, compared to the STR and FBSB, the IFSB has an increased liquid surface area for oxygen uptake and exhaust CO_2 stripping,an enhanced k_La for cell robust growth to a high cell density, and a lower shear stress to alleviate cell damage.

        Quantitative analysis using intraoperative contrast-enhanced ultrasound in adult-type diffuse gliomas with isocitrate dehydrogenase mutations: association between hemodynamics and molecular features

        Purpose: The relationship between contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) hemodynamics and the molecular biomarkers of adult-type diffuse gliomas, particularly isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH), remains unclear. This study was conducted to provide a comprehensive description of the vascularization of adult-type diffuse gliomas using quantitative indicators. Additionally, it was designed to identify any variables with the potential to intraoperatively predict IDH mutation status. Methods: This prospective study enrolled patients with adult-type diffuse gliomas between November 2021 and September 2022. Intraoperative CEUS was performed, and CEUS videos were recorded for 90-second periods. Hemodynamic parameters, including the peak enhancement (PE) difference, were calculated based on the time-intensity curve of the region of interest. A differential analysis was performed on the CEUS parameters with respect to molecular biomarkers and grades. Receiver operating characteristic curves for various parameters were analyzed to evaluate the ability of those parameters to predict IDH mutation status. Results: Sixty patients with adult-type diffuse gliomas were evaluated. All hemodynamic parameters, apart from rising time, demonstrated significant differences between IDH-mutant and IDH-wildtype adult-type diffuse gliomas. The PE difference emerged as the optimal indicator for differentiating between IDH-wildtype and IDH-mutant gliomas, with an area under the curve of 0.958 (95% confidence interval, 0.406 to 0.785). Additionally, the hemodynamic parameters revealed significant differences across both grades and types of adult-type diffuse gliomas. Conclusion: Hemodynamic parameters can be used intraoperatively to effectively distinguish between IDHwildtype and IDH-mutant adult-type diffuse gliomas. Additionally, quantitative CEUS equips neurosurgeons with dynamic perfusion information for various types and grades of adult-type diffuse gliomas.

        The topographic effect of ground motion based on Spectral Element Method

        A Spectral Element Method for 3D seismic wave propagation simulation is derived based on the three-dimensional fluctuating elastic dynamic equation. Considering the 3D real terrain and the attenuation characteristics of the medium, the topographic effect of Wenchuan earthquake is simulated by using the Spectral Element Method (SEM) algorithm and the ASTER DEM model. Results show that the high PGA (peak ground acceleration) region was distributed along the peak and the slope side away from the epicenter in the epicenter area. The overall distribution direction of high PGA and high PGV (peak ground velocity) region is parallel to the direction of the seismogenic fault. In the epicenter of the earthquake, the ground motion is to some extent amplified under the influence of the terrain. The amplification effect of the terrain on PGA is complicated. It does not exactly lead to amplification of PGA at the ridge and the summit or attenuation of PGA in the valley.

        High-throughput Screening Strategy Used for Enhanced Production of Pigment by Monascus purpureus D39-4

        Most of the fermentation experiment designs were limited by the low-throughput of shake flask, especially for the medium optimization. A simple high-throughput screening system was developed for the determination of pigment in Monascus purpureus fermentation samples. This downscaled system was designed to optimize medium composition combined with statistical methods. The total 29 experiments designed by the Box–Behnken were used to study the 4 most important operating variables on pigment production. The analysis revealed that the optimum concentrations of glucose, peptone, NaNO3, and KH2PO4were 51.42, 4.91, 1.00, and 1.00 g/L, respectively. A production of 69.5 U/mL was achieved in agreement with the prediction (68.9 U/mL) fermented in 24-deep-well microtiterplates. Furthermore, the fermentation medium optimized in the high-throughput system was verified in shake flasks, and the pigment production could be enhanced from 206.5 U/mL in un-optimized medium to 265.8 U/mL,giving nearly 1.30-fold increase in production.
