        Abstracts-Prostaglandins exhibit diverse pharmacological properties and are now recognized as local hormones that control a multitude of important physiological process. (R)-4-hydroxy-2-cyclope-ntenone is a very useful intermediate to synthesize the prostaglandin derivatives. The optically active cyclopentenone building blocks were synthesized in various ways ; by resoultion of the racemic hydroxy ketone ; by preparation from chiral natural products via resolved synthetic intermediates, by asymmetric synthesis, by microbial or enzymatic techniques, etc. The hydroxy ketone can be produced by preparation from chiral building block via microbial organisms. The key chiral building block is dimethyl-5-hydroxy-4R-hydroxy-2-oxopentane phosphate which can be synthesized the optically active cyclpentenone via Horner Emmon reaction. This paper describes the preparation of the chiral diol compound 2 in detail.

      • 디버링 작업을 위한 로봇 제어기 개발

        This paper presents the controller of a double parallel robot manipulator applied for deburring work. This is one of the least favored works because of dust, noise, vibration, and accidental injury. A serial robot manipulator has been limitedly applied to light-load deburring work due to the poor stiffness of the manipulator. A double parallel robot manipulator has been developed for a strong rigidity by stacking two parallel mechanisms. It can be applied to heavy-load deburring work with high stiffness. To apply the robot to cut the burrs on a unknown geometric surface, this research will develop an intelligent controller to measure bur track and cut it with a constant cutting force.

      • Piperine 誘導體[5-(3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)-2,4-pentadienoic acid amides]의 合成 硏究

        Abstract-Some 5-(3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)-2,4-pentadienoic acid amides were synthesized for searching new anticonvulsant agents. The amides could be synthesized by condensation of protected vaniline with crotonic acid amides in the presence of sodium amide. A MOM Ether(methoxymethyl ether) was used to protect one phenolic hydroxyl group of vaniline. MOM Ether was selectively cleaved on exposure to 1 : 1 THF-6N hydrochloric acid.

      • 강 사장교의 내하율산정에 관한 연구

        일반교량의 경우,교량의 주요부재가 선형 거동한다는 가정 하에 교량을 지배하는 단일 힘 또는 응력을 결정할 수 있으므로 정량적인 내하율 산정의 지표가 되는 내하율산정이 가능하다. 그러나 압축력과 휨을 동시에 지지하는 사장교의 경우,거더와 주탑과 같은 주요부재가 두 가지 이상 힘의 복합작용에 의하여 비선형 거동을 보이므로 일반교량의 내하율 산정방법과 같은 개념을 이용하여 압축과 휨의 두 가지 힘을 고려하는 정량적인 내하율의 산정방법은 제시되지 않고 있다. 현재,강사장교 주요부재는 도로교설계기준(2005)에서 제시된 안정식을 이용하여 부재의 안정성을 검토하고 있다. 일반교량의 경우 미국이나 일본 등 해외에서도 행하여지는 내하율의 산정방법과 마찬가지로 국내에서도 경우에 따라 허용응력법과 강도설계법에 의하여 내하율 평가를 실시하고 있다. 그러나 일반교량의 내하율 평가는 공용하중을 정량적으로 평가할 수 있는 장점이 있지만 한가지의 힘계나 응력계에서 내하율을 평가하므로 사장교와 같이 휨과 축력을 동시에 받는 복잡한 구조물에서는 일반 교량의 내하율 평가방법이 사용될 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 사장교의 내하율 산정에 관하여 축력과 휨을 동시에 고려하는 방법을 제안하였으며 각 부재의 가장 위험한 하중을 재하하기 위해 SAP 2000을 사용하여 영향선 해석을 수행하여 사장교 보강형과 주탑에 대해 제안식을 적용하였다. 연구결과 휨만을 고려하는 일반교량의 방법과 휨과 축력을 동시에 고려하는 제안된 방법 및 안정식과 응력식에 의한 내하율 산정방법에 의하여 사장교의 보강형과 주탑의 내하율을 산정하여 타당성을 검증하였다. Evaluation of Rating Factor in Main Members of Steel Cable-Stayed Bridges are performed by stress and stability check which is based on K-code. The same Evaluation of Rating Factor as Rating Factor calculating method which is performed in other country is performed by ASD and LRFD in domestic. Evaluation of Rating Factor of some bridges can evaluate actual live load in fixed quantity, but Evaluation of Rating Factor of some bridges cannot be used in complicated structure subjected to bending and axial force like cable-stayed bridges. In This paper stability equation specified in K-code is applied to estimate Evaluation of Rating Factor of Steel Cable-Stayed Bridges. In This paper Rating Factor of member stability subjected to bending and axial force and wind force was calculates try to verify validity by comparing with three-Span Continuous Steel Cable-Stayed Bridges.

      • Melandrin의 방향족 유도체 합성에 관한 연구

        Melandrin, as a possible phytoalexin, which is expected to have the various pharmacological activities; antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral activity, was isolated in 1987 by Woo from Melandrin firmum (Caryophyllaceae). The synthesis of melandrin derivatives has been accomplished by the reaction of 5-hydroxy anthranilic acid ethyl ester with acid chlorides and then by hydrolysis of ethyl ester.

      • Piperine 유도체 〔3-(3',4'-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-propenic acid amide〕의 합성에 관한 연구

        Abstract-3,4-Methylenedioxyphenyl cinnamic acid was synthesized from the reaction of 3,4-methylenedioxy benzaldehyde with malonic acid, via Perkin reaction and it was added to SOCI_2. From acid chloride, many amide derivatives were synthesized, using various amines. In the final step, cleavage of 3,4-methylenedioxy group was not accomplished by the traditional method of halogenation with phosphorous pentachloride. And, protection of the OH-group of catechol with tosyl, acyl, methoxy methyl chloride or acetonide was failed. So, aryl benzyl ethers were prepared from a protocatechualdehyde by treating an alkaline solution of the protocatechualdehyde with a benzyl chloride. Amide derivatives were synthesized from the former ways. Benzyl group was readily removed by hydrogenolysis.

        Recently, our construction industry is using various work sections classification systems for civil engineering projects. However, because the public IDB(Integrated DataBase) for the work sections is insufficiently built, it is difficult to connect construction operation information from construction site to standard specification or standard method of measurment. Therefore, this study suggests a methodology to link the construction work sections information, such as cost, schedule, drawings and specification, with civil engineering standard method of measurement. And the methodology suggested in this study was applied to a web-based work sections information management system with IDB. An IDB modeling was designed by using DFD (Data Flow Diagram) and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram).

        The combustion process of diesel engine is very complex because there are many factors which have effects on it. The study on these factors is necessary in order to improve diesel combustion. So, the effects of intake air temperature, cavity geometry and fuel injection timing on combustion characteristics were investigated in this paper with the visualized diesel engine. When the intake air temperature was increased, it was proved that the point of ignition nuclei was fasten in plate type combustion chamber. Also, it was turned out that the most effective fuel injection timing in engine power was BTDC 22° CA.
